How well did the print and labels survive throughout wear and after washing? - extremely well, I didn't really believe stick on labels would be particularly effective if I am honest but they have survived the washing machine as well as hand washing, drinks bottles and lunchboxes have been washed wihtout any problems and the labels don't scuff when in bags. I am really very impressed.

I was pleased with the service, it was easy to order and I received the confirmation quickly and then an email when my order was despatched.

It was very easy to use the labels and the instructions were very clear

The labels have stayed where I stuck them and the print is still clear, they have only been on for a week or so but they are all still secure.

I was really impressed with the stickers - they are all on as firm as they were to start with. Now, for the review:

Good points:

• They all sick firmly without exception.

• They provide a solution to black labels and shoes with black inners (these have previously been a nightmare to label).

• When ordering, the font automatically changes size to the most suitable as the name gets longer - it gets rid of the guess work.

• So far, 100% have survived the dishwasher/! Washing machine and tumble drier.

Negatives:

• They can't be moved once stuck down (if placed badly, for example). I suppose those is also a positive because they stick firmly.

• The instructions say to stick on to labels, but one of my sons hates labels and I have to cut them out (although they have survived being stuck directly onto the fabric.

Suggested improvements:

• Black stickers worth which l white writing? This would look smarter in black clothing/ shoes/ lunch items that need labelling

• In do think that they are good value after trying them, but would be reluctant to buy in the first place in case they didn't work. Maybe have cheap a sample set (even if it just says 'sample' on) that be posted at cost and for the price of the postage so the quality could be seen?

Hope this all helps - I'll definitely be buying these from now on!!

Yes I was pleased, especially with how quick everything was. I received an email straight away. The dispatch email came the same day and my stickers the next!

3. When your order arrived, what did you think of the packaging and information enclosed?

The stickers arrived undamaged and flat. Maybe the plastic wrapper surrounding them could be changed to a plastic - free source: there are now clear plastic looking materials made from plant sources.

4. How easy was it to use the labels/put the labels onto clothes and other items? Were the instructions on how to do so clear and easy to follow?

The name labels stick really firmly. They were so firm that if placed badly, they can't be moved, but this I think it's good because they stick so well. The instructions were first and easy. The only problem I encountered was that one of my sons prefers to have his labels cut out. Do far, however, they have stuck firmly to the fabric of his clothes.

5. What did you stick the labels onto?

Drink bottle, lunch box, shoes, t-shirts, school tie, calculator, violin case.

6. How well did the print and labels survive throughout wear and after washing?

They are still stuck firmly and there has been no change to the colour, shape or size. They look just as they did when he.

1, The Stickins website is clear, informative, and very user friendly.

2, I found the service from Stikins very good, the confirmation email from them was comprehensive and contained useful contact details in the event if problems.

3, The labels arrived well packaged in a normal envelope and contained very comprehensive detailed instructions how to use them.

4, The labels were dead easy to use, again the instructions covered every scenario very well. They are so much easier to use than iron on labels or messing about with a marker pen .

5, I have stuck the labels onto clothes ( school uniform ) shoes, water bottles, lunch boxes and stationery items.

6, The labels ( I've used a fair few as 3 children's worth! ) are all still as new despite several washes, dishwasher cycles and general wear.

Very pleased with them, thanks for the opportunity to trial them.

First of all, thanks for allowing me the opportunity to test Stikins.
To the questions:

The website was the simplest thing ever!
I actually checked twice that I hadn’t missed anything because I had filled the form filled in in about 3 minutes. No frills, sure. But no fuss either. Awesome.

2. Were you pleased with the service you received? Why? Did the confirmation email provide you with all the information that you needed?

I was delighted by the service. I had a confirmation email immediately, the dispatch notice the next day and it was all concise and informative.
The labels were on the doormat the day after that, 2 working days after ordering which is very impressive.

3. When your order arrived, what did you think of the packaging and information enclosed?

Packaging was an envelope which, aptly, had been stuck down so fast I had to use my granny’s brass letter opener to get into it!
No need for much else really.
Perhaps going forward a paper sleeve for the actual labels might be more eco friendly but I’m being picky.

I loved the fact that the sheet was just labels and the surrounding bits had been removed. Especially good for people like me who occasionally have no nails with which to extricate them from their sticky paper prison.
This meant I didn’t waste any because they were sticking to themselves which has happened with previous labels.

5. What did you stick the labels onto?

Clothes, shoes, water bottles and lunch boxes.

6. How well did the print and labels survive throughout wear and after washing?
No issues so far. I’m curious to see how they do on my DC’s knitted jumpers after a few more washes. Every other label I’ve tried has needed replaced after half a dozen washes.
No signs after a couple of runs through the wash yet though. Fingers crossed.

Overall, I’m delighted I had the chance to try Stikins. I’ll be switching to them for my other DC and I’ll recommend to friends.

Yes i was pleased. The confirmation email came straight away. However I did make a request which was not acknowledged.

The labels were clear and easy to apply out of all I've ever tried. Only takes a few seconds to put onto garments. Instructions are simple to follow.

Perfectly, still look as new.

I am very pleased with the labels and will buy again if we run out. I find even the iron in labels a faff so these are a great product for me. They also mean that when we’re going out the door to school and I suddenly realise there’s a new item without a label on it, we can just bung one on and it’s job done! Very helpful and practical.

I loved the website! It's colourful and engaging but without too much info on one page. It was easy to find everything I wanted based on the links and tabs, lovely to be able to read information about the brand etc. Ordering process was really easy.

Very pleased, excellent customer service! The confirmation email told me how many i'd ordered, the price (0 obviously for the test but if Id paid this is handy info), confirmed the name and told me the estimated delivery date. They arrived really quickly too, I ordered on a Friday and they arrived Monday morning.

It's great that they are delivered in a standard envelope so you don't have to worry about staying in etc. All the order information was in there, along with great instructions for use. I also liked that the labels were inside a plastic sleeve so they were protected if the envelope was damaged/wet. I wonder though if it would be better to just put everything into a polylope/mailing bag so that the paperwork can also be protected.

The instructions were clear, and I'd read them on the website too. The labels were super easy to fix to everything,my favourite thing about them was not having to iron them on! This took me hours with the ones I bought at the start of the term (and they've all come off now anyway

I put them on trousers, tshirts, cardigans and school bag.

The print looks just as good now after several washes. One of the labels has come partially unstuck from the care label on a pair of trousers, but I think it was the first one I put on and I didn't press it on as well as the others. I also put it on just before washing in my eagerness to try them! But all of the others have stayed on through wear, washing and tumble drying. The one on the inside of the school bag has survived lunch boxes and PE kits being pulled in and out.

I love these labels and will definitely be buying more for my other children to replace the ones that have come off. I'll also recommend to anyone I know who wants name labels.
Stikins are a bit more expensive than the iron on ones I bought from an online marketplace, but I think for the quality and durability they are more than worth the extra cost.

The website was very user friendly. There was nothing distinctive that sticks out from memory but I didn't have any issues using the site.

The labels have survived a 3 hour cotton wash cycle on 90°C and my very active 5 year old wearing the clothes and shoes.

Have recommended to all my friends and school mums. Have actually put another order in for my two other boys.

I found the Stikins website well laid-out, and easy to navigate. The process for ordering the labels was easy, and only took a few minutes.

I was very impressed with the service I received. I promptly received my confirmation email, which contained all necessary information.

I received the labels the next day, much faster than I was anticipating! Very pleased with this service.

The labels were very easy to use (foolproof!) I put them into everything: my daughter's school cardigans, skirts, shirts, shoes, water-bottle, water-proof PE bag, coat. I was very impressed. They have lasted three washes, and still look like new. They show no signs of coming off. They have remained in great condition just as well on the other items. I must admit my hopes weren't too high prior to this trial, as I have tried other stick-on labels which were poor quality and came off very easily. These couldn't be more different! I will certainly be buying for my other children's things.

-Packaging as expected, was all safe and uncrumpled. Glad to have a storage bag so I didn't lose them -easy in our chaotic house. Information on how to apply was clear.

• Couldn't be simpler to use. Instructions easy to follow (not sure how you could do it wrong really!)

- Haven't had many washes yet so maybe too soon to tell. Pleased with how well it has stuck to the water bottles and it looks much better than my messy labelling! Ones on the shoes have stayed put and not rubbed/worn.

What I was pleased about was how smart they looked and I think they will look great on bags/water bottles/lunchboxes. So much easier to use than ironing them in.
I am waiting to see how long they last as we haven't had a terms worth of washing yet!

Yes I was very pleased with the service, it was professional, quick and very efficient! The confirmation email contained all the information I needed to know and it was delivered literally the next day, which was definitely a welcome surprise!

The labels on clothes have survived the wash, and don’t seem to have lightened at all. The water bottle has been washed and has stuck fast, so we have no complaints at all!
