- Stikins website
The website was easy to use and laid out clearly. The screens followed each other in a logical order and everything worked nicely. For some reason, I initially struggled to identify whether I would be able to view a mock-up of the label but the penny dropped and thereafter it seemed obvious how it would have worked.
- Service
First-rate service. This was a stand-out feature of the process. The emailed instructions which arrived after placing the order were clear. The labels themselves arrived swiftly and as promised.
- Packaging and enclosed information
The information leaflet contained everything I needed and was clearly drawn. I did wonder if there was a need for the labels to come within their own little plastic wrapper though.
- Ease of use and clarity of instructions
The labels were very straightforward to apply, including by reason of the clear and full instructions. For me, as I sew slowly and not especially well by hand, the time saving as against woven labels was significant. For this reason alone, I’d recommend them.
- What did you stick the labels on to?
School polo shirts, jumper, trousers, coat, socks, shoes, lunch box, water bottle.
- Surviving wear and wash
So far, so good after washing (and line drying) of clothes (everything at least once but the school items only once as we had half term over the testing period) and the two packed lunch items: labels look good as new and have stuck well. The labels inside his school shoes are a little less tidy looking after a few days of wear; the print quality is still excellent but those labels seem not to have adhered quite as well. That observed, my boy does have quite sweaty feet, so it may be that, or it may be the material from which the shoe lining is made. But for the clothes, the Stikins made the labelling process really fuss-free and speedy.
Thank you to Stikins for the labels and to Mumsnet for administering the process.
