Recruitment has now closed

Beyond are looking for MNers with at least one child to test their online will writing service.

Testers must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently live in England or Wales
  • Do not own property abroad
  • Do not have a will at present

Here’s what Beyond have to say:
“Without a will, the state determines what happens with your kids and assets, whether you’re married or not. So, a will is vital for parents, and Beyond make it simple and affordable to get it sorted online. In 15 minutes, you can protect your family with a legally-binding will - without ever having to leave the house. It’s perfect for busy mums and dads. Trusted by 1,000s of UK parents, Beyond’s easily updateable online will service lets you protect your family, choose guardians for children and pets and leave personal messages for your loved ones.”

Selected testers will be sent a link through which they can create a legally-binding will for themselves (worth £90) or a couple's will for themselves and their partner (worth £135).

Testers will be required to leave their feedback on a thread on Mumsnet as well as complete a short survey. All testers who leave the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where 3 MNers will win a £100 voucher of their choice (from a list).

If you would like to sign up, please click here.

Thanks and good luck!

I did a Joint one,
Very straight forward.

livinginhope87 · 02/09/2019 19:19

So so easy, we have simple affairs and it took less than 10 minutes. It has been on my to do list for so long and it is a weight odd my mind. Perfect for couples as you can do it in individual parts.

cwitchard · 02/09/2019 21:15

@Scoleah How did you do a joint one? I’ve got to the end of mine and it just says about payment? How do you complete the second one?

Rockbird · 02/09/2019 23:10

I'm trying to do a joint one but I'm really confused about the percentages. 100% to DH or 50% to each dd or 33% to all?

cwitchard · 03/09/2019 08:45

@Rockbird How did you do a joint one? I clicked that I wanted to do a joint one but it just came up with one for me and then asked for payment. I don’t know how to make it joint??

AngryBudgie · 03/09/2019 12:53

@cwitchard To do a joint one go through to the payment page, put your code in and pay. They then send an email link to your partner to do theirs.

Rockbird · 03/09/2019 13:30

I clicked joint, and then they asked me for details about both of us. Think I'll start again.

cwitchard · 03/09/2019 15:22

Thank you @AngryBudgie. Do I just send them the same link we were sent?

AngryBudgie · 03/09/2019 15:27

@cwitchard No you don't send them the link. The website automatically sends them a link once you have paid that links to your will (it checks on payment that it has the right email address for them).

cwitchard · 03/09/2019 15:30

@AngryBudgie Ahhh! Fab! Thank you so much 😊

AngryBudgie · 03/09/2019 15:33

@cwitchard No probs! It's a bit confusing!

Scoleah · 04/09/2019 18:33

Sorry @cwitchard only now saw this!
I just clicked on Joint; then input the payment code; then it sent a link to my husband and pre filled all his important stuff!

guardbabe21 · 05/09/2019 21:53

I've finished mine. Was so easy to do. Haven't received a link to the survey or thread yet though. X

AbbiCMumsnet · 06/09/2019 10:19

Hi @guardbabe21, I've just send an email to all testers with details of the feedback thread and survey, so you should be able to complete feedback now :) Thanks!
