Recruitment for this product test is now closed

We’re looking for Mumsnet users to test one of Sleepeezee’s new personalised memory foam dog beds, in either the flat or basket style.

Here’s what Sleepeezee has to say: “British bed manufacturer Sleepeezee is proud to launch a collection of dog beds, in partnership with Battersea Dogs Home, which offer your companion a great sleep. Two distinct styles are available in a selection of sizes and colours, all of which can be personalised with your dogs name on.”

All selected testers will receive one dog bed in either flat or basket form (depending on their preference when signing up) in the colour and size of their choice. Testers will have the option of choosing to personalise the bed with their dog’s name (up to 10 characters).

As a part of the testing process, testers will need to wash the bed’s removable cover, and will need to give their feedback via a thread on Mumsnet and a short survey roughly 7-10 days after receiving the product. Please only sign up to take part if you’ll have time to wash the cover and give your feedback during the testing period (roughly 15th August - 25th August).

If you’d like to take part, please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

Oh wow that was quick @Picklemepopcorn looks very comfortable in there!

Horehound · 14/08/2019 12:42

@Picklemepopcorn is that the medium?
I have a cocker spaniel who's quite tall for her breed. So wondering if a large may be better than a medium. What type of dog and KG is that?

crazycatgal · 14/08/2019 12:59

@Picklemepopcorn That was quick! Crazycatdog is still waiting for his to arrive! I don't know who is more excited - him or me.

Jammiebammie · 14/08/2019 13:11

We got ours today too, jammiepup loves it! Very impressed with the size too it’s huge (we got the large). Perfect timing as he’s been really poorly with vet visits this week so he’s all cuddled up and looks so comfy Star

picklemepopcorn · 14/08/2019 14:15

This is medium. It's quite generous sizewise, id say.

fleshmarketclose · 14/08/2019 14:23

Ours arrived today and it's perfect will post a photo later as Bella is currently patrolling the front door. She jumped straight in the minute it was unpacked. I like the sturdiness and the colour and I'm assuming Bella likes the comfort. Really nice size as well Bella is tiny but once asleep likes to sprawl and there is plenty of space for that.

fleshmarketclose · 14/08/2019 14:53

Bella seems very settled in hers, unusual during the day as he likes to be next to me as much as possible.

Lovely to see happy pooches.

DianaBishop · 14/08/2019 17:24

Jammiebammie · 14/08/2019 18:24

Ours was sent by Yodel.
diana how cute is Ferdinand awww. Our lab hasn’t moved from his all day!

Sixgeese · 14/08/2019 18:28

Bobby's arrived today too. He got straight in. We got the medium as he is around 9kg but at 9 months isn't fully grown so we thought he would soon grow out of the small. So far I am very impressed, not sure I would have spent the £155 it would have cost though.

Sixgeese · 14/08/2019 18:35

Bobby enjoying his new bed.

I want all the dogs!

Horehound · 14/08/2019 18:46

So would you pay £90+ for these? Actually I think medium is £120

Horehound · 14/08/2019 18:48

So far I am very impressed, not sure I would have spent the £155 it would have cost though. ouch no way!

Considering my lovely bed and mattress was 350 I doubt I'd pay half for a dog bed! No way.

RoseDog · 14/08/2019 18:48

It arrived!! Kaya dog is in it but will she sleep in it tonight or will she still sleep in our bed 🤷‍♀️

The large with the personalisation would have been £175, very pricey. They do have 20% off on the website though.
Looking forward to doing the full testing and see how the cover washes, which can apparently be done at 60. Also curious how the inner fabric (bamboo and charcoal I believe) deals with doggy smells.

Celebelly · 14/08/2019 19:02

We spent £100 on our Tuffies bed that we use in kitchen and honestly it's been worth every penny. It's been about four years now and still looks good as new. Before that we probably spend way more than that on a series of cheap dog beds that all fell apart or didn't wash properly. So I would definitely pay for quality when it comes to dog beds as I think it's a false economy otherwise (or at least for us - we have a v mucky dog, working cocker, so we need to wash covers frequently and it takes a lot of abuse).

LemonAddict · 14/08/2019 19:36

It’s received the seal of approval here!

It’s really thick and luxurious and if it’s as hard wearing as I hope, plus with the machine washable cover, I think I would consider paying £120+ for it. I’ve probably spent around that much (if not more) in the past 3 years on beds that get thrown out once they’re flat and smelly.
