Zodus, a behavioural science start up, is looking to test their problem-solving game and is looking for Mumsnetters who are 45+ to test the simulation game. The testing will involve playing a minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 rounds of the game (each round takes 2-3 minutes) 5 times over a 2 month period. You will not have to play all rounds in one session, you can resume at any time during the test period. In total, it will take about 2 hours of your time (over the 2 month period).

Here’s what Zodus has to say: “FutureSpace is a gamified simulation that captures decision-making in problems similar to retirement. FutureSpace invites players to set goals and then challenges achievements of these with different scenarios of news, events and opportunities. Zodus’ ambition is to help organisations design policies, products and services that work with the grain of human nature.”

If you’re selected, you will be sent a link to the game and will be asked to complete a minimum of 25 rounds over the course of a 2 month period. We will also send you detailed instructions. There will be no feedback thread on Mumsnet.

MNers who meet the minimum requirement of 5 rounds in each test will receive a £20 voucher and will also be entered into a prize draw and one person will receive a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Please sign up here if you’d like to take part.

Thanks and good luck!

I think they are analysing the data them we will get another email asking us to play another round.

CrumblyMumbly · 29/05/2019 08:45

I'm still waiting to be invited to the feedback thread if it's still going ahead? I've played the game a zillion times though hope my retirement planning is better than my game playing skills!

JustineBMumsnet · 29/05/2019 12:15

@CrumblyMumbly can you PM or email us? As a participant you should have received an email about the next stage of the test last week, but we're not able to find you on our list of participants so it looks like we need to do some digging.

I've not had the email either?

Olinguito · 31/05/2019 16:53

I've tried to play the game but found it pretty baffling. I haven't received a follow up email either.

CrumblyMumbly · 31/05/2019 18:06

You have to play the game 10 times (keep a note of how many as it won't tell you!). I have played over 10 now and I am still waiting for my e-mail.

DurhamDurham · 03/06/2019 19:53

I've completed all ten rounds of the game and also the round after that.
Awaiting further instructions Mumsnet Grin

mandes1 · 10/06/2019 16:00

I couldn't get my head around this at all. I don't know if it is me, but the game didn't seem to make much sense. No follow up email either.

DurhamDurham · 02/07/2019 07:22

Wonder when we'll get some info about getting our £20 vouchers, I'm hoping to get one I can use at Sainsbury's as I've seen a lovely planter in there Grin

CrumblyMumbly · 08/07/2019 12:31

I was wondering when we would get our voucher - e-mailed Justine but no answer? I know Zodus said they may contact us again, so perhaps the trial isn't quite over yet?

Seagullslanding · 11/07/2019 17:11

I've also emailed earlier this week and not had a reply.

This is so annoying, I spent a lot of time playing the game.

I hope they still honour the prize draw for the £300 of vouchers

DurhamDurham · 15/07/2019 09:41

@JustineBMumsnet Apologies I don't want to look like I'm badgering Mumsnet but is there an update about when we can expect our vouchers? The game was confusing, repetitive and rather dull so I'm hoping some good can still come out of it Grin

Seagullslanding · 16/07/2019 12:48

Please can you respond Mumsnet.

I still haven't had a reply to my email.

We put a lot of effort into playing this game. please at least acknowledge our messages

JustineBMumsnet · 16/07/2019 13:25

Hi all - apologies if we haven't got back to your email! I've been on annual leave for the last few days, but will be putting our order for these vouchers through ASAP - look out for an email over the next day or so.

I took part in this and then had problems logging on. I sent several emails about it and didn't get a reply to any of them so wasn't able to complete the task.

It was really frustrating as the game was dull and very repetitive and I won't even qualify for a voucher for it.

I also hope this doesn't "blacklist" me and prevent me from taking part in other product tests.

DurhamDurham · 16/07/2019 19:31

@JustineBMumsnet That's great, thanks! Smile

Flapdoodles · 17/07/2019 21:12

There is another thread about this as it doesn't look as if anyone has received their vouchers.

@JustineBMumsnet you can see from the other thread, we were assured vouchers would be with us by the end of last week.

DurhamDurham · 18/07/2019 15:47

I've just had the email, chose an Amazon e-card and spent it. All in the space of five minutes, I already had items in the basket GrinThanks Mumsnet! Smile
