A good night’s sleep is just as important for our children as it is for us and we all know a tired child often isn’t fun for anyone! Dreams would like us to find 60 UK Mumsnetters with a child aged 5-15 to try out one of their mattress from their Little Big Dreams range.

Here’s what Dreams has to say: “We all remember what it was like to be young. The world looked bigger then, and a land of infinite opportunities. We filled our time with playing, acting and dreaming of the things we wanted to be. It was those dreams that ultimately shaped our future. They made us into what we are today.

Now it’s our children’s turn to dream. It’s their future and who knows what it holds. They need their sleep, and a good night’s sleep is the best sleep of all. That’s why they need a good mattress. They will be better prepared, more imaginative, more able to cope with the busy day ahead.

All we can do is help them to make the most of it, to be the best they can be, and to be all they want to be. We believe every child should be able to sleep well and dream big, and this is the proposition which inspired our brand, Little Big Dreams.”

Selected testers will be sent one of the below mattresses to test with their child:

Moon Chaser (Traditional Spring) - The traditional spring mattress gives fantastic support with the advantage of an anti-allergy fabric treatment for a healthy night’s sleep, and helps to keep your child dreaming for longer. This mattress has a medium comfort.

Star Gazer (Foam) - The foam mattress has a removable, washable top panel to ensure your child always has a hygienic sleeping environment. The mattress has a water repellent layer underneath the removable panel to keep the mattress clean and ensure your child can get back to sleep quickly in the case of any night time accident. This mattress has a firm comfort.

Dream Catcher (Pocket Spring) - The pocket spring mattress provides outstanding support for the developing child. The mattress has a luxurious cover with both anti allergy and heat regulating treatments to make sure your child sleeps well every night. The top panel is removable and washable, with a handy waterproof layer underneath, to keep the mattress clean and fresh for the lifetime of the mattress. This mattress has a medium firm comfort.

The three mattresses are all available in Standard UK Single 90cm x 190cm & in Standard EU Single 90cm x 200cm. If for a top bunk, midlseeper or highsleeper please check the maximum mattress height does not exceed 15cm.

Testers will be required to test the mattresses for 40 nights and to then leave their feedback on a feedback thread on Mumsnet and by filling out a short survey. All testers who leave the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

If you would like to take part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

youarenotkiddingme · 26/04/2018 21:03

Done!

DS has mild cp and asd with nocturnal myoclonus.

We are yet to find a mattress that can provide him a decent and comfy nights sleep - would love to test one and provide feedback!

youarenotkiddingme · 26/04/2018 21:07

sidge good luck to DD for the surgery.

Shame we don't get to vote for MNer to try because she'd get mine!

My ds has splints etc for night and dodgy hips so I get it a bit but he's very lucky despite all this to have no issues with his spine.

kristinage · 26/04/2018 21:46

Done! Hope will get a chance to try it!! Fingers crossed!

Sidge · 26/04/2018 22:29

Aw thanks youare, sounds like your boy needs a new mattress just as much!

How old is he?

DD isn’t a complainer but I can tell she’s not comfy, I’m scared stiff about the surgery but she’ll be so much better once it’s done.

I call her my wonky donkey which she thinks is hilarious 😆

youarenotkiddingme · 27/04/2018 06:40

He's 13! I call him exactly the same 😂😂

Megansmumsie · 28/04/2018 22:04

My family is going through the trauma of losing our home in just one months time.....my DS (6) is very fearful and is not sleeping well because he feels so anxious. We don't have a secure place to move to but if he had a lovely new mattress I'm sure it would help him to feel safer and to sleep better. I am trying to limit disruption to his schooling and having a good night's sleep on one of these super mattresses could really help him at this incredibly difficult time.
