A good night’s sleep is just as important for our children as it is for us and we all know a tired child often isn’t fun for anyone! Dreams would like us to find 60 UK Mumsnetters with a child aged 5-15 to try out one of their mattress from their Little Big Dreams range.

Here’s what Dreams has to say: “We all remember what it was like to be young. The world looked bigger then, and a land of infinite opportunities. We filled our time with playing, acting and dreaming of the things we wanted to be. It was those dreams that ultimately shaped our future. They made us into what we are today.

Now it’s our children’s turn to dream. It’s their future and who knows what it holds. They need their sleep, and a good night’s sleep is the best sleep of all. That’s why they need a good mattress. They will be better prepared, more imaginative, more able to cope with the busy day ahead.

All we can do is help them to make the most of it, to be the best they can be, and to be all they want to be. We believe every child should be able to sleep well and dream big, and this is the proposition which inspired our brand, Little Big Dreams.”

Selected testers will be sent one of the below mattresses to test with their child:

Moon Chaser (Traditional Spring) - The traditional spring mattress gives fantastic support with the advantage of an anti-allergy fabric treatment for a healthy night’s sleep, and helps to keep your child dreaming for longer. This mattress has a medium comfort.

Star Gazer (Foam) - The foam mattress has a removable, washable top panel to ensure your child always has a hygienic sleeping environment. The mattress has a water repellent layer underneath the removable panel to keep the mattress clean and ensure your child can get back to sleep quickly in the case of any night time accident. This mattress has a firm comfort.

Dream Catcher (Pocket Spring) - The pocket spring mattress provides outstanding support for the developing child. The mattress has a luxurious cover with both anti allergy and heat regulating treatments to make sure your child sleeps well every night. The top panel is removable and washable, with a handy waterproof layer underneath, to keep the mattress clean and fresh for the lifetime of the mattress. This mattress has a medium firm comfort.

The three mattresses are all available in Standard UK Single 90cm x 190cm & in Standard EU Single 90cm x 200cm. If for a top bunk, midlseeper or highsleeper please check the maximum mattress height does not exceed 15cm.

Testers will be required to test the mattresses for 40 nights and to then leave their feedback on a feedback thread on Mumsnet and by filling out a short survey. All testers who leave the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

If you would like to take part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

Done! I'll try anything to improve my son's rubbish sleeping.

Zoflorabore · 21/04/2018 18:28

Done, praying we get chosen.

Good luck everyone :)

Done! Our son is graduating from his 'toddler' bed (low level) to the bottom of new bunk beds this summer - he'd be a perfect mattress tester as he still loves to bounce, and I don't see the presence of a top bunk stopping him from doing that, he'll just kneel to bounce instead!

Done.
Fingers crossed Smile

Done!

Done! It would be great to try the 'Dream Catcher (Pocket Spring)'. DD has ADHD and will often not go to sleep until gone 10pm despite being up at 6am and super active. At the moment she's getting into my bed (which means I get less sleep, not great with being a single Mum with a full time job - I need my rest to). She seems to toss and turn more so in her bed. I have been on her mattress and it's not great at all, very thin (it came with the bed), it would be great if we were to try it and it kept her in her bed (AND gave me a full nights kip!) she's almost six and I really need to break this habit :/ as she seemed fine on her last mattress.

Done. Fingers crossed. Will be following the feedback if not chosen as DS could really do with a new mattress.

LonelyOversharer · 22/04/2018 18:12

Done. I've never signed up for a tester before, so fingers crossed!

GoJohnnyGoGoGoGo · 23/04/2018 17:08

This would be perfect for us. DS1 has almost out grown his toddler bed and would love one of these.

MollysMummy2010 · 23/04/2018 20:07

Have I read this wrong and it is for companies to comment on feedback? If not I am in!

OfficeDictionary · 23/04/2018 22:30

Done! Fantastic chance for my very light sleeper to get a decent 40 nights' kip!

newbiemom · 23/04/2018 23:44

Have signed up. Fingers crossed we get to test one, it would make all the difference to my ds's sleep 🤞

Coolaschmoola · 24/04/2018 00:06

Done.

LostMyBaubles · 24/04/2018 10:57

Done!
Another for the stargazer one.

My eldest has lots of health problems and is tube fed. He is dry during the day but in nappies at night (has bowel condition but also wet at night)
Having a mattress that has a washable top, water repellent mattress is something we could really put to the test!

SluttyButty · 24/04/2018 14:17
