innocent are looking for 20 MNers and their DC’s to take part in their Big Grow Campaign and grow their own vegetables at home.

Here’s what innocent have to say: “We want to encourage kids to grow their own veg to help teach them where their food comes from. We believe that by growing it themselves, kids are much more likely to eat (and enjoy eating) fruit and veg and continue with healthy eating habits to last a lifetime”

Each selected tester will receive a box containing:

  • a pack of pea seeds
  • a box of innocent kids smoothies
  • a garden label
  • a compost disc
  • a growing guide

Everyone who takes part will be required to test out the product with your DC and then leave two lots of feedback on a thread on Mumsnet. We’d also love to see before, during and after photos of your peas growing.

The kits will be sent out from 5th April onwards. It takes a few weeks to grow your peas to the point where you can harvest the pea shoots to add them to salads or sandwiches, so please only apply if you’re around to see through the growing process for the following few weeks or so.

Everyone who leaves the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

If you would like to take part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

The kids often get these home from school - but I always forget to look after them (the peas not the kids!). So we'd love the opportunity to give this a go!

PinotAndPlaydough · 30/03/2018 13:13

Would be so lovely to do this with the kids and prove to them that we can still grow stuff on our small balcony

Ilikesweetpeas · 30/03/2018 16:35

My children beg me every year to start a vegetable garden. They would love this.

Done! Green fingers crossed!

Kangar00 · 31/03/2018 23:11

I have applied. Out of all of the product tests this is one of the most exciting.

athingthateveryoneneeds · 01/04/2018 06:52

Signed up. We have a few seedlings already started but no peas yet. :)

Done.

Really hope we are chosen for this.

My dc are eating so much better lately as myself and oldest are following sw.
Would be great to grow our own and continue ourselves.

Good luck everyone :)

Izzadoraduncancan · 02/04/2018 21:26

Would love to test this product... but we live in Ireland 🙄! Why oh why are we excluded from the vast majority of testing? We are consumers, as are many Irish of Innocent products. Why?

Dixiestampsagain · 03/04/2018 02:41

My dd who is 8 is her class rep on the Eco committee in school. She would love to do this!

Sleephead1 · 03/04/2018 06:05

done we've just moved and have a garden now so would love to do with my little boy

SillyMoomin · 04/04/2018 16:33

Oh wonderful just had an email to say we’ve been chosen, thank you!! It’ll arrive just in time before the dc go back to school too so they can spend a morning fussing over the seedlings Grin

SillyMoomin · 06/04/2018 10:52

Ummmmm

MNHQ....

I’ve just received my Innocent bundle- on the side which the delivery team have obviously used is my name and address. But on top of the parcel on a hand written label is the name and address of an MN’er who is not me

(KR from a town beginning with L)

I’m very concerned that my name and address has now gone out to someone, somewhere.....?

Don’t tell me this is another mess up with the data like the pink parcel debacle??

SillyMoomin · 06/04/2018 11:04

KM sorry not KR
