Gousto has asked us to find 100 Mumsnetters to test one of their recipe boxes. Testers will be sent a family box of four meals (for four people) to try out with their family and will then be asked to leave feedback on a thread on Mumsnet. Two of the four meals selected will be recipes from a new family-friendly range launched in partnership with Annabel Karmel.

Here’s what Timo Boldt, CEO and Founder of Gousto says: “For people who want to cook and enjoy good food together but don’t always have the time, ingredients or know-how to do it well, Gousto delivers simple ways to (re) discover the joys of cooking, so you can choose what you want, cook it with confidence and enjoy sharing it with others.

Taking the hassle out of planning, shopping and cooking, Gousto delivers up to 4 meals for the week with the ingredients and recipe ready to make, so there’s no more ‘what’s for dinner’ panic.

This month, we’ve launched a 3-month partnership with family cooking expert, Annabel Karmel to introduce 20 additional family-friendly recipes to our menu. Supporting busy families with tried-and-tested, nutritionally balanced meals, proven to suit fussy eaters, including Heavenly Hidden Veg Bolognese and Mouthwatering Veggie Mac & Cheese – the new recipes will allow you to enjoy cooking dishes which suit everyone around the dinner table.

Each recipe uses Gousto’s fresh, quality ingredients – including 100% British meat, sustainable fish and free-range eggs from trusted suppliers – allowing you to know what’s in every meal and feel confident you’re feeding your family well.”

If selected, you’ll be given a unique discount code to place an order for a box (free of charge). Gousto is a subscription service, so testers will be required to create an account. However, Gousto’s customer care team will prevent the subscription from continuing automatically. You’ll then need to test the recipe box as a part of your daily routine and give your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet.

Testing will be for orders placed on the Gousto website on 10th October or 23rd October, with deliveries taking place between the 14th or 27th October. Please only sign up if you’re available to test at this time.

Please click here to apply.

All selected testers who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

This sounds great! Hope I'm chosen!

confusedofengland · 25/09/2017 12:02

I have applied for this even though I have 3DC, as DS2 & 3 are only little so share a regular-sized portion between them, so a meal for 4 is a perfect size for us.

iamme21 · 25/09/2017 12:22

Completed. Anything to make mealtimes easier!

MoanaofMotunui · 25/09/2017 12:40

Done! Would LOVE to be part of this. We have just been looking in to subscription box services a, with two little ones to run around after, I'm completely out of inspiration and energy to meal plan lately! This might just be the pick me up I need to get back into cooking some interesting family meals.

Thank you for the chance!!x

redfragglebiker · 25/09/2017 12:49

Done - This would be fantastic for us as we're due our first little one any day now so not having to think about dinner but still having good nutritious food, with all the recipe and ingredients sorted would be a godsend!

Moose23IsHungry · 25/09/2017 13:42

The survey doesn't load for me on my phone or computer

JustineBMumsnet · 25/09/2017 14:20

@Moose23IsHungry - the site we use for surveys is down at the moment so please do bear with! Smile

Done! Fingers crossed 🍀🍀🍀

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 25/09/2017 17:37

Wales!! Hoping for a chance to check these out, I often feel stuck in a mealtime rut but I love cooking and this could be the thing that gets my mojo back!

PutYourBracesTogether · 25/09/2017 17:43

Done.
Am stuck cooking the same meals over and over so will hopefully be picked.

Moose23IsHungry · 25/09/2017 17:57

Do we have to comment on here to be eligible for the prize draw? If so, I managed to complete it eventually.

RubyGoat · 25/09/2017 18:09

I've applied - DH & I have only 1 child but she eats close to an adult portion most of the time, & my DH is a very tall man with a giant appetite. I don't know if we'd be eligible but I'd love to take part!

Dawnedlightly · 25/09/2017 18:20

Done 🤞

SillyMoomin · 25/09/2017 18:22

Ooooh yes please would love to try!

GeekyWombat · 25/09/2017 18:26

Love this. DH and I used to have recipe boxes before we had DC and when a disposable income didn't mean it was spent on nappies. It hadn't occurred to me you can get family boxes too!

ibuiltahomeforyou · 25/09/2017 18:33

It was the mention of Annabelle Karmel that swung it for me - she is my goddess while we feed our daughter!

Mummyoftwo91 · 25/09/2017 18:49

This sounds amazing! Never tried one of these meal boxes I'm intrigued

Fekko · 25/09/2017 19:05

Oh yes oh yes oh yes! Hope I get picked!

mogloveseggs · 25/09/2017 19:08

Done!

HermanCakeDestroyer · 25/09/2017 19:37

INeedToEat · 25/09/2017 20:05

Signed up ! My son has his fingers crossed as he loves cooking with me.
Good luck everyone !

AgainstTheOddsNo2 · 25/09/2017 20:27

Can I give some feedback here?

The recipe boxes are a great idea. We did hello fresh for a couple of weeks (there were issues but that's another story) and getting new ideas and recipes was great. It was also great spending time cooking with my husband. However we don't have time to do that every week. The idea of something like this where you can order boxes ad hoc when you know you are less busy 1 week would be an extremely attractive service. Boxes via a weekly subscription is Def a no go for us which is a massive shame!

Ca55andraMortmain · 25/09/2017 20:33

Done. Really hoping we get picked as we are so stuck on a rut right now for meal ideas, despite having the most accommodating toddler ever!

lovewatchingrainfall · 25/09/2017 20:50

Wow. Have applied. I am fed up with cooking the same old stuff so this would be amazing.
