Bundle Two

What did were your first impression on the product?

I was surprised that some of the packaging was branded and designed but others not. The items that were designed looked bright and inviting.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

My 2.5yo and 1yo both loved the twists. However I would prefer it if they were bite size pieces to prevent crumbs (well, less anyway!) and to enable me to share them or only offer a few. I was very impressed however with the small ingredient list for the twists; particularly the broccoli twists and I am delighted to say I could actually taste broccoli!

The biscuits were not as big of a hit but still enjoyed by both but I am not so happy about the big ingredient list.

The flapjacks were not fully eaten so the least popular of what we were given.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

Perfect size snacks but as I mentioned earlier it would be ideal if the twists were bite sized.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

The designed items were bright and fun.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

I don't stick to any brand and buy a couple of each usually. I would definitely add the twists to the list!

Thank you

What did were your first impression on the product?

The biscuits looked good, the flapjacks looked very tasty in the see through packaging. The melty twists were just in silver packaging so looked boring.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

She liked the strawberry biscuits I got "ooh flavoured" when she tried them. She didn't like the taste of the apple ones. She liked the melty twists and the flapjacks although they were quite sticky.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

The portion sizes were fine for my 4 year old.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

Bright and easily recognisable. Dd loved her Micky mouse biscuits.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

We don't really have a brand but I would buy the melty twists and flapjack again if on offer.

What did were your first impression on the product?
Twists strange packaging from the outside you had no idea what was inside
The Flapjacks looked very moist and delicious
Biscuits were in lovely eye catching packets

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
The Twists they were not very keen on, I think they were a bit fiddly to eat and when I tried one myself there was not much flavour
Flapjacks were a big hit. They Liked and shared. the taste And the texture was fine for them to eat.
The strawberry and vanilla Biscuits were their favourites, although they Liked and shared. both But when given the choice picked strawberry over Apple.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
Pack size for biscuits and flapjacks was just the right size/amount. The packaging for the twists were a bit odd.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
Bright and eye catching my children would be able to spot these on the shelf easily

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen
The biscuits and flapjacks yes but the twists no

We were sent the melty twists, biscuits and flapjacks to try. My DD is 15 months and loved them all! Thank you for letting us test, we're big disney fans anyway but have loved these snacks.

What did were your first impression on the product? Look really good (though only the biscuits looked to be in proper branding). Liked the colours and Mickey and Annabel Karmel association.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture? I wasn't too sure about the melty twists as they seemed too big to be crisps and generally a slightly odd structure. However my daughter loved them (particularly the broccoli and cheese) so were a hit. Her particular favourite was the flapjack which she scarfed down super quick.

What did you like about the format/pack size? All were easy to fit in bag or lunchbox, so perfect snack size.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging? Liked that it was fairly simple, liked Mickey on the front.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen
I dont tend to buy one brand in particular but would definitely buy these products again depending on price point. Really tasty and big hit with my daughter. Thank you again for letting us try them!

What did were your first impression on the product? Looked wholesome and fairly healthy, bright packaging got the kids attention. Fruity bites looked similar to figrolls
What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
Breadsticks were too dry and but tasted like cheese.. DD liked the taste but couldn't get past the "Carey" (cardboard) texture
Fruity bites: both kids loved these, the apple was a favourite, then strawberry then mixed fruit. Good consistency for in bag,not easily squashed and crumbled either in transit or in little fists.
What did you like about the format/pack size?
Good size, ideal as a snack for a toddler.
What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
Bright and colourful, children attracted to the characters
Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
Breadsticks no, too dry and unpleasant texture.
Fruity bites , definitely both kids (2 and 7) have asked for more and 7year old wants them in lunchbox for school.

What did were your first impression on the product?

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
She can be fussy with tastes so i was not to sure how she would be with some of these, however they went down a treat. I was a bit unsure of the flavours and i found the flapjack a bit sticky but she loved it which matters. They were a good size for her hands too.
My nephew even tried them and he found the sizes perfect for his little hands too.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
I like the sizes, they are small enough to fit in my hand bag, great to go in the lunch box for nursery/school.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
From the packaging that i saw and the pictures on the picture i love the colours, the design.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
Not 100% swap i would use them along side my snack brands

What did were your first impression on the product?

Very bland looking and inconsistent sizes.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

The parmesan breadsticks went down a treat with very fussy dd2. Personally I thought they had no flavour and were very hard.

She didn't like the tomato breadsticks, spat it out once she realised it wasn't the same as the previous ones. Again I thought these were incredibly hard to bite into although I did enjoy the taste of these.

Dd point blank refused to try the fruity bakes.
Despite not looking great I thoroughly enjoyed them! Especially the mixed berries flavour.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

I thought the fruity bakes were tint especially in comparison to the very genorous breadsticks packs.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

We didn't receive any Disney packaging so can't comment. It's a shame as this may have made dd more willing to try them.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

Probably not. The breadsticks are far too hard compared to other brands and whilst I enjoyed the fruity bakes I think I'm going to stick to adult portions!

What did were your first impression on the product?

The packaging is colourful and appealing. The tomato breadsticks looked the most appetising, the Parmesan ones the least. The fruit bakes looked really nice and not too sticky/messy to eat.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

My daughter chose the fruity bakes first (having a very sweet tooth), she really liked the strawberry one the most, but happily polished them all off quickly. She said the filling was 'yummy'. She quite liked the tomato breadsticks, but wasn't as keen on the Parmesan ones. I thought the texture was quite heavy for a breadstick.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

They are good portion sizes, perfect for little hands and to pop in your bag for being out and about.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

It is bright, fun and simple.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

Would maybe go for the fruity bakes as she enjoyed them. The ingredient list is surprisingly lengthy though, would prefer to see more natural ingredients in them. I wouldn't buy the breadsticks, they didn't appeal to my daughter.

Me and my little man had the Disney Kitchen Toddler snacks bundle 2
Melty twists
Fruity flapjacks
Mini wholegrain biscuits

What did were your first impression on the product?

First impressions were, Very interesting, The melty twists were a very interesting shape in the packet so we had no idea what to expect, The flapjacks looked yummy in the see through packaging and the wholegrain biscuits looked very regular and self explanatory.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

My child loved the taste of the flapjacks, They were very sticky so maybe a snack I would give him in his high chair but not necessarily on the go say in the car or pushchair due to being too messy,
The biscuits were great, he ate them all, perfect amount in each packet for little mouths which also can teach potion control,
The melty twists I thought were fantastic, perfect shape for my LO to hold whilst nibbling and the same texture as a well known brand of crisps he loved the sweet pepper flavoured one, but wasn't so keen on the broccoli chees one and when my back was turned the dog also got to sample this one! (might I add, the dog loved it!!)

What did you like about the format/pack size?

anything individually wrapped is ideally suited for our lifestyle so that was great, the flapjacks were a great treat size, the biscuits were just enough I think for my boy for a snack, and the melty twist made an excellent portion sized snack to go with his sandwich at lunch time.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

It's very colourful and eye catching and the Disney characters have always been an iconic favourite for many years now.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

Yes as I think they offer something very different especially with the melty twists, I can see my son enjoying those again and again (especially in more flavours) along with the flapjacks.

So we'd received the 2 packs of biscuits, the twists and flapjacks. My daughter loves the the biscuits. We really loved the apple ones, so much so I have now gone out and bought more. The flapjacks weren't a massive hit in our house. Personally as a parent I found them too sticky, but my daughter sure loved them!
As for the twists these weren't that much of loved item.

What did were your first impression on the product?
We received bundle 1 to try which were the bread sticks and fruity bakes. First impression was that they looked appetising and a verity of flavours.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
Found the cheese breadsticks to be quite dull in flavour and a little cardboard like. My toddler definitely preferred the tomato breadsticks which he said were tasty but a little hard. Unfortunately my toddler didn't like any of the fruity bakes despite being into a variety of fruit normally.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
Pack size were of good quantity for my nearly 3 year old.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
Unfortunately our bundle was not Disney packaged and instead sent in a see through plastic packet. My toddler seemed very interested in the insert which gave an example of the packaging, he definitely seemed to like the idea of Disney being on his food.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
We would definitely buy the tomato breadsticks again as these seemed to be a hit. Unfortunately we will not be buying the other items, other than my toddler not liking the other items we were surprised by the amount of sugar in the fruity bakes, the most being 7g per 22g bar.

Thanks for sending us the products, they've been a big hit!

What did were your first impression on the product?

First impressions were that the packaging was bright and everything looked nice, my little one was there when I opened the box and he was really excited and couldn't wait to dive in! He chose the flapjack first, which surprised me as i thought he'd go for the biscuits!

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

He really enjoyed the flapjacks, he wAnted another one straight away. I thought they were quite sticky and had to wash my hands after unwrapping it for him. He also enjoyed the melty twists, when he first lifted it out he wasn't sure whether he should break it up or take bites from the one big piece, but still demolished it and enjoyed it.
He didn't seem quite so keen on the biscuits as he was willing to share the pack with us but I thought they were nice, although a little artificial tasting.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

I think hunk the format of all the products was fine, although expected the melty twists to be lots of smaller one rather than one large one. I think the size of each one was just right for my three year old.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

I liked the Disney packaging, it was bright and attractive and clear.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

I'd definitely buy the products again, depending on the price.i tend to look at what is on offer that week and then decide.

Hello
My Da first impressions were great , immediately he started commenting on Mickey Mouse on the packaging on the biscuits .
He loved every single one of them but he was a bit hesitant on the chesse twists but he ended up asking for more . Flapjacks and biscuits he loved them immediately. All packaging was great for a snack . The fact that they have Mickey Mouse on the front is pretty easy to win the kids .I think that having Mickey on the packaging made him to wanna try it , he's a fusy eater it takes him a while to want to try something new . Yes we would happily swap .

Disney toddler snack bundle 2

First impressions of the product were they looked yummy, (I was surprised how many I got) the packaging is perfect for Disney kids. The biscuits were lovely and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed them, the flapjack didn't go down too well, she got bored after a small amount and she was very messy, sticky fingers etc :( The pack size and packaging were perfect for what it was, grabbed the kids attention due to characters on there and the bright colours, size also great for tiny tummies :)
I have already purchased more of the biscuits again but not the flapjacks.

What did were your first impression on the product?
First impression was that the snacks were a nice size and looked appealing.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
My DC (2&4) really liked the breadsticks and particularly the fruity bakes. They have had them in their lunchbox as well as eating them for snack. No complaints here!

What did you like about the format/pack size?
I thought the sizes were good and handy for throwing in my bag for when we go out or into lunch boxes.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
I liked that it was bright and fresh. Also liked the extra nutrition info on the packaging which meant I knew at a quick glance that the breadsticks were made with real Parmesan for example.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
I usually buy plain supermarket breadsticks and if I saw the Disney snacks for a good price I would make the swap. I don't currently buy anything like the fruity bakes so would definitely consider adding them into my basket as the children enjoyed them so much.

FaceWithaView · 10/09/2017 09:25

What did were your first impression on the product?

Not everything was packaged as it would be normally but the biscuits looked nice and not too in your face 'Disney'. However, my son has not discovered the wonders of Disney as yet, so my opinion on that might change in the future if he does become a fan!

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

My two year old loved the strawberry biscuits, didn't care so much for the apple ones though and discarded those halfway through eating them. The flapjacks were too sticky, he did like these but caused a bit of fuss getting these out of the wrapper. The melty twists were a bit bizarre - I had to chop them up which defeated the purpose of having them as an on the go snack! Once I did do this he loved them though and the cheese and broccoli one the most.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

Really liked the biscuit format and packaging, the right size for small hands and enough in them. As before I think the melty twists could be better, maybe dividing up the stick to rounds would be a better way for toddlers to consume?

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

Not everything in the final packaging but the biscuits worked well for me - my toddler was more interested in the contents!

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

I would buy the strawberry biscuits, as these went down well. The melty twists I would consider buying if the format changed. The flapjacks were just too sticky and fiddly to get out on the go to make these a good option.

My three year old tested bundle number two.

*What did were your first impression on the product?

First impressions were good, they seemed to be good portion sizes for a toddler. But when we opened the crisps I did think much of the idea of having one piece all stuck together. These snacks were difficult to eat and messy.

*What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

My son really liked the taste of the two flavours of biscuits and the flapjacks. But the flapjacks were a bit sticky and made me think the were very high in sugar. He said the crisps "taste of nothing" and didn't finish the red pepper one. BUT he is a third child and is used to eating all sorts of crisps. If he was younger I'm sure he would have eaten them. But the idea of having one long piece would have stopped me buying them again.

*What did you like about the format/pack size?

Good portion sizes.

*What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

Packaging for the biscuits was attractive for kids. Other products were in plain packaging.

*Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

Quite possibly, especially the biscuits or flapjacks. But it would depend on the price.

We tested bundle 2.

First impressions are that the product is very similar to others out there. Sensible flavour choices and good toddler sized pieces. I didn't like how the little crisp-things were all rolled into one though. It made it messy!

My daughter liked the strawberry biscuits. She immediately knew the apple ones were apple but chewed them, spat them out and said 'yack', similarly with the flapjack. She really liked the savoury crisp things though.

I liked the colours on the packaging and the sizes. However, the Disney branding would put me off in the supermarket as it doesn't immediately shout out 'healthy, decent quality product'. I'd be more likely to buy it if more were made of the Annabel Karmel than the Disney. I think Disney is more likely to appeal to kids but it's me that makes the purchasing decisions.

I may well swap to the twisty crisp things if they were separated, but not if they came as one big twist.

DD (and I) really enjoyed testing the Disney kitchen snack bundle two. I'd say the only disappointing product was the flapjack, with DD describing it as 'really sticky' compared to similar products she's tried. The melty twists came is foil packaging only so it would have been nice to see if they will be sold that the way.

What did were your first impression on the product?
Quite good. Decent size and attractive packaging. DD was interested straight away!

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
I tasted the apple and strawberry biscuits and they tasted good. Not too sweet but sweet enough for DD to think she was getting a 'treat'. As for texture, the twists were definitely reminiscent of skips which was a nice change from the tad too crunchy crisp-like snacks we usually get.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
I really liked the size of the pack as it wasn't too big but a decent portion for a mid morning snack. DD loved the format as they look different to her usual snacks so piqued her interest immediately.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
As above. The combination of appropriate size and design to interest kids is great.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
I might, depending on price. At the moment we swap between supermarket own brand and whichever brands are on offer so if Disney kitchen is competitively priced, we most likely would swap.

We tested bundle 2. Thank you for the opportunity.
What did were your first impression on the product?
I thought the flapjacks were quite small, although this makes sense once you realise how sweet they are. The biscuits were nicely packaged. The twists were interesting flavours.
What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
She liked the biscuits. I thought they were very dry, but she actually likes this. She had a nibble of the twists but decided she didn't like them. Though this might be because they don't resemble anything else, and she has a tendency to reject anything not in her sphere of reference. She liked the flapjacks the most.
What did you like about the format/pack size?
Again, the flapjacks needed to be that small because they were so sweet. The biscuits were a good size for throwing into my bag. She found the twists too fiddly to eat, they were too wide for her to get her mouth around, as a result they were a bit too messy for my taste.
What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
Liking at the pictures that came with the pack they seem eye catching. Though if the branding is only on the box and not on the individual wrappers, you're missing a trick because I open and discard boxes, so DD wouldn't really ever see the branding.
Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
If the flapjacks and biscuits were on offer or a competitive price I might, but not the twists as neither DD nor I liked them.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging? I really liked the bright colours with Disney characters on and the size of the products.
