I tried these with DS (2) and DD (1)

What did were your first impression on the product?
The biscuits looked good and a good small size. The mety twists looked huge! The flapjacks also looked good.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
DD liked everything and DS liked everything apart from the flapjacks.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
The biscuits pack size was good I thought.
The melty twists were quite big and both tried to shove it in their mouths and made a huge mess...

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
The packaging on the biscuits was nice. The DCs aren't really aware of Disney yet though so not bothered either way by the packaging.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
Yes would buy the biscuits again is price was acceptable.

Disney kitchen snack bundle 1 tester here.

First impressions of the product:
A little underwhelmed at the portion size, unless 2 packs of the breadsticks make up one pack to purchase. It wasn't clear. If it is one bag then it wouldn't last very long in this house with 2 under 5's. Breadsticks looked tasty and a good chunky size for little fists to hold on to. The fruity bakes looked very much like fig rolls you get in any supermarket.

What did you think of taste/texture?
Well my 18 month old scoffed down the breadsticks in super quick time and gobbled the fruity bake up in a flash. So he was impressed. He is not a fussy eater. My 4yo daughter asked what the breadsticks were because they don't look like the ones we've bought before. Fruity bakes were chewy and 'belicious' (delicious) and she said the breadsticks were really nice. My 18mo held his hands up to reach for more. So I think they are a huge hit.

Format/pack size;
If I was buying these I would like there to be more breadsticks in the pack than there is in the one bag, and I'm not sure how many fruity bakes are in a pack. But they are a great size for a snack or with lunch. Gave them 3 breadsticks with chicken sandwich, tomatoes and cheese for lunch and the fruity bake for pudding. They ate it all and were full. I'd be looking to buy 3 packs of 3 fruity bakes in one packet, if that makes sense. And roughly 15-20 breadsticks in a pack.

What do you think of the Disney packaging:
The logo and outer packaging is bright and colourful and think this will stand out on the shelf against rivals if only for the Mickey Mouse picture as my youngest loves him. Overall, looks like a cheerful happy snack, and far more enticing than a pack of biscuits or regular breadsticks.

Would you swap brands:
Yes probably, after seeing how well these have gone down with the kids I would be inclined to purchase these again over rivals, dependant on price.

Thanks for letting me test them out: happy tums here!

What did were your first impression on the product?

As pp said the breadsticks looked a bit big and tough. The apple fruity bakes reminded me of fig rolls but longer.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

So far we've only tried the apple fruity bakes and Parmesan breadsticks (pack arrived today). Toddler is teething so wasn't initially thrilled about the prospect of biting into something so I broke the bake into little bits and offered to her in a tray. She inspected them thoroughly. Once she tried the bits she quickly ate them all and took the next bake without me having to break it up. She ate the breadstick right away with no inspection or pause!

What did you like about the format/pack size?

Pack sizes are pretty standard. As are formats.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

Ours came in unbranded plastic see through packaging.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

Yes why not.

We tested bundle 1.

What did were your first impression on the product?
The breadsticks looked chunky and different to usual brands and the fruity bakes looked tasty if a little small. I like that the appearance of the breadsticks reflects the flavours.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
My DS tried a breadstick and didn't have any more, which is unusual as he loves snacky carby things! He said the flavour was nice, not too strong but the texture was odd, like halfway between breadstick and soft bread. He loved the taste of the fruity bites and there was a lot of filling which is always good.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
Breadsticks were a good portion size but the fruity bakes could have been longer.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
Mickey Mouse! If it wasn't for his big smiling face then this brand would look boring and blend in with the rest. But Mickey makes it look fun.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
I don't have any loyalty to any brand as DS likes all sorts so I mix it up a bit, but I would buy it along with all the others as it does feel like something a bit different from the rest.

What did were your first impression on the product?
Looked tasty, breadsticks looked rustic in texture, and nice and chunky

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
Baby enjoyed knawing on bread sticks, but toddler said they were too crunchy. They were more crunchy than typical kids food. I would have preferred them to be softer.
Cake was popular.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
I liked the size of the breadstick portion and that they are savoury.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
I wasn't keen on the packaging as I don't like things to be very branded. I would prefer more subtle labelling.
Also would prefer recyclable packaging.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
No I wasn't convinced, although we did enjoy them I didn't think they offered anything above other brands. I'd worry the Disney packaging might encourage my older child to want me to buy more toys!

We recieved bundle 2.

What did were your first impression on the product?

I was impressed with the quantity of samples so thank you very much! The biscuits were the only thing in official packaging though but they were colourful and my 5yo said 'ooo can I have some' which is rare!

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

We were mainly testing with my 13 month old, she loved all the foods, particularly the biscuits. The flapjacks were very sticky which seemed to irritate her as they were getting stuck to her fingers.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

The biscuit packets were an ideal size to take out as a snack rather than one large bag I liked the individual packets. The twists I wouldn't choose again I found the long twist format a bit odd and made it quite hard for a toddler to eat as you had to break it and most crumbled, would have prefered small twists that she could hold in a hand easily.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

It was bright, colourful and the characters make the children recognise the product so they were more likely to try.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

I don't really have a current brand, I tend to go for individual products that DD likes, or try new things on offer. I would buy the biscuits again but probably wouldn't purchase the other products.

Thank you!

What did were your first impression on the product?
The breadsticks were very chunky and an uneven shape.

The fruit bakes looked good and similar to a fig roll

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
She didn't like the breadsticks, I think they were too coated in the seasoning and being so big I did think she could easily choke on them. They were very crunchy which she didn't enjoy
She liked the fruit bakes

What did you like about the format/pack size?
I liked that the bakes were individually wrapped as handy for lunch box at preschool .

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
we had no packaging just see through bags with white printed labels. The leaflet looked good that was in the box

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
No, wasn't impressed with the breadsticks and the bakes were nice but I'll stick with her current snacks

What did were your first impression on the product?

They all looked quite tasty great for a snack

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

My son enjoyed them all, I thought the melty twists were a little strange as they were a funny size but he liked them

What did you like about the format/pack size?

Pack sizes were good I think ideal for snacks as they're intended I particularly liked the packets of biscuits my son is 20 months so ideal size for him

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

The packaging for the biscuits is bright and eye catching and appealing to young children. The melty twists and flapjacks were in unbranded packaging. But all were easy to open

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

I don't have one brand that I stick to but as my son liked all of the items I would buy again

bundle 2

What did were your first impression on the product?
Great packaging for toddlers with the biscuits, and size of the biscuits was good, similar to products he has eaten before.
The twists looked huge, so I didn't think would appeal to my son (but did).
The flapjacks looked good and similar to things he has eaten before.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
My son said he liked all the snacks, although he did not want to try the blackcurrant flapjack.
The twists were his favourite. He liked the strange shape, and the flavours.
I thought the flapkacks were too sticky and too textured/bitty, I was impressed with the twists (and disappointed I only got to have a tiny taste, as I would happily have eaten them all by myself).

What did you like about the format/pack size?
The pack of biscuits were a good size for a toddler to hold and use.
Every item being individually wrapped in a portion size is great for taking out and about with you, as I always take snacks out packaged like this.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
The biscuits packaging was eye-catching, and appropriate to the age group.
Individually packaged portions are a must for me, creating easy snacks to access when out.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
If my son asked for any of the items I would buy them for him, and in the future when my daughter weans/can eat, I will purchase from disney kitchen along with various other brands.

What did were your first impression on the product?

Mine were that they were eyecatching-Disney characters are great to endorse any product.
DD loved that Mickey Mouse was on them-and that they were food-she loves food.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

Not one complaint from her about the taste. She identified each flavour from each snack she was eating-and said each one was "yummy".

What did you like about the format/pack size?

Fab format and pack size was perfect for school run snacks (which is where most of our snacks are consumed)

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

Eyecatching and relatable for DD-and most children actually. Everyone loves a cartoon character don't they, and the bright colours draw their attention in!

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

Yes I think I would-we really haven't found anything else to rival the new snacks. Everything else is hard to walk and eat, and not as good a size.

My Feedback

As you can see from the photos I've added, they really have travelled with us on every school run so far-she chooses what she'd like and we have a certain spot we get them out-which then lasts her till we get to the school. It gives her that little boost of energy two twenty minute walks need!

We tried the breadstick/fruit bake bundle

First impressions: breadsticks looked a bit unappealing. The fruit bakes were like fig rolls as others have said

The fruit bakes were demolished by the children and were the first thing they chose. The breadsticks were regarded with more suspicion but still eaten.

Pack size was fine for the fruit bake. I can see you might fling one or two in the bag when you go out. The breadsticks were quite a big pack for something that was quite dry. I'd want it to be resealable if it was the proper pack

I can see the packaging would be appealing to a small child. I would want the packs to reseal.

Would I swap? Not for breadsticks. Actual breadsticks are fine and i'd imagine cheaper. The fruity bakes were fine and so i might consider them depending on the price

Bundle 2

What did were your first impression on the product?
I really liked the bright packaging of the biscuits, and all the items looked appetizing.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
He loved the biscuits, and ate both flavours happily.
The flapjacks actually got my first 'ohhhhh' out of him (very cute to hear) however they were so sticky, he ended up just playing with them.
The empty twists were quite big and bulky for him, but once I broke them up, he ate them. These would be more of a treat to have at home, due to him not being able to eat it out of the pack.

What did you like about the format/pack size? The size is perfect for a treat, but so that they feel they are getting enough.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging? I liked that it was bright and eye catching. I'll easily spot these on the shelf.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen? I don't have a current brand really, but will purchase these for ds and also for myself. I had a sneaky taste of all of them, and they were really nice.

What did were your first impression on the product?

When the package arrived I let my 19month old daughter open the box she was excited to recognise the Disney Characters and soon realised it was food and was keen to try the Flapjacks!

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?

My daughter was a bit unsure about the melty twists, these were relatively bulky and a good handful and I found it easier to break bits off to make it easier to eat rather than having to hold it whole in her hand and bite off chunks.

She liked the taste of the Sweet Pepper and cheese and I tried some to see if the flavour was very strong and I found that it was a very subtle taste and they melted in the mouth and were easy to eat.

The flapjacks were very sticky and when removed from the packaging left her hands sticky they were easy for her to handle though.

The biscuits were a great size for her to handle and she enjoyed eating them whole and biting of pieces.

What did you like about the format/pack size?

All product were great for carrying around in a handbag or changing bag for snacking on the go.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?

They were easy to recognise by my toddler and she was familiar with some of the products from before.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?

I would definitely look at finding the flapjacks and replacing her current brand as they had visible fruit pieces and she really enjoyed the flapjacks.

impressed with size and look

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
the fruit bakes were the fave, great size.
the tomato breadsticks were not liked at all- i tried one and they were actually a little spicy/hot and very dry/hard.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
pack size was perfect

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
the packaging was just clear plastic wrappers with ingredient list sticker- so not sure what i am meant to write here- i notice the mums who tested the other bundles received branded/colourful packs....

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
i would deffo buy the fruit bakes alongside my usual snacks for my LO.

Hi. My 3 year old tested the bundle two.

What were our first impressions?
Immediately recognisable as Disney. My son liked the colours and branding. I liked that you could see the flapjack so it was clear what it was.

Packaging feedback
Colourful, easy to get into. Good size for my son but older children may find unsatisfying.

My ds really liked the biscuits and both flavours of. They weren't too sweet and were a good size to hold. They also aren't too crumbly so didn't make a huge mess.

The flapjacks tasted nice but were very sticky which put my ds off slightly as he hates having messy hands. They were also quite small.

The melty twists were a bit strange. Very big for small children to handle/eat. Very strong cheese flavour and pretty messy. My ds didn't like these at all mainly due to strong flavour and odd texture. These would probably be better smaller whole or as a bag of small twists.

In terms of if i would buy them. I would buy the flapjacks and the biscuits but not the twists. I regularly am looking for different things to put in my sons lunchbox and these could easily become a regular favourite.

Thanks for choosing us to trial the products

What did were your first impression on the product?
Received bundle 1, 1st impression on the product thought it looked good, different to other toddler snacks out there looked like a grown up snack.
What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
He was willing to try it but not overly keen on any of the flavours taste or texture. But then my son is a bit of a fussy eater.
What did you like about the format/pack size?
Pack size was reasonable providing they like it and want to finish it! I liked that the bakes were individually wrapped.
What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
They were in plastic bags, thought that might have been because they were samples...didn't think much of the packaging.
Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
Not for this particular bundle.

What were your first impression on the product?
They looked Good. Attractive packaging. Disney pictures appealed to my DS.

What did you/your child think of the taste/texture?
He really enjoyed the flapjacks. Texture and taste was good for him. They were a little sticky feeling but still good and nothing a wipe couldn't handle.
Biscuits tasted nice - strawberry better than Apple. I seemed to enjoy these more than my son did.
Twists were very nice, again I seemed to enjoy these more than my son. Soft feeling texture. I would personally buy these for myself too 😂 I did have to avoid telling my son it was broccoli and cheese though to make him want it more.

What did you like about the format/pack size?
Good size. We broke apart the twist for small bitesize pieces but ate the whole packs. Flapjacks perfect snack size. Biscuits good amount in each pack and multiple contain enough.

What did you like about the Disney Kitchen packaging?
The were nicely coloured and seem to appeal to my son.

Would you swap your current brand to try Disney Kitchen?
Yes, we don't buy too many snack foods but these would ideal as part of a lunch or a treat snack (whilst out or picnics) so will be looking out for them.
