smells really nice and clothes come out smelling nicer than previous versions

I was surprised that my family didn't react badly as usually fragrance can be an issue.

I am a regular ecover user but will switch to this type when I see it available

I usually use powder detergent and had never tried liquid before, I'm a total convert, no mess and the bottle lasts. I'm also delighted how kind it is to sensitive skin. I suffer with eczema and I'm always nervous about trying new products but needn't have worried.

• What surprised you the most about Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?

How effective it was at getting my grubby toddlers clothes clean. I found the smell quite overpowering when adding it to the machine but the smell from the clothes on the line was amazing, much more subtle. I don't use fabric conditioner so I was impressed at how much softer my laundry was compared to using my usual detergent.

Most definitely, it's more than I'd usually pay but I'm delighted to find a product that's gentle and kind to sensitive skin.

WWhat was your favourite thing about using Ecover Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent.
Love the smell it also lasted a few days. Easy to use nice feel on clothes. Also like the light weight bottle..

What surprised you? The freshness plus wash bibs with baby food on them it managed the stains very well

I'd really like to be but I have to keep my costs down a lot at the moment so I'm afraid I'd have to go for a cheaper product at this point. I will definitely return to it though when incomings increase

What surprised you the most about Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?

That I liked the smell but it wasn't overpowering. I've been really put off scented laundry products, there seems to be a race to make them all stronger and stronger. It was a pleasant surprise to realise they're not all like that.

Are you a new convert to Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
I haven't used it before and I definitely would again if budget permits. Cheap is everything in my house though.

• What was your favourite thing about using Ecover Non-Bio - Concentrated Laundry Detergent? knowing that it was eco friendly - we have a specialised bio waste water treatment system and this product is perfect to help us keep environmentally friendly as well as performing well in the wash.

• What surprised you the most about Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent? The smell was amazing! Also, having previously bought the non concentrated ecover detergent and been disappointed by the price vs washes - this version has gone a lot further and restored my faith!

I love the smell which surprised me as i don't usually like lavender fragrance. It made my clothes smell clean and fresh

That the clothes smell clean, i know that sounds ridiculous but they do!

Yes, although It is expensive so would only buy if there was a good offer on.

I'm adjusting to working part-time at the moment (read: having no money!) so I just can't afford it at the moment. If I had more cash to splash then I would definitely buy it.

I like that it goes in the drawer! I usually use a gel and have quite a collection of plastic caps. It was nice to just pour it in, and no more plastic cluttering up my work surfaces.

That you don't need much to get a good result, especially as we are a hard water area.

Yes, it's nice, but I am not a fan of sandalwood so look forward to some of the other scents!

How much I loved the scent and how long that scent lasted.

I really like it from a results point of view, scent and ecological perspective, if it were at a lower price point I would 100% switch over.

The smell! I really liked how clean and fresh everything smelled when it came out of the machine

How well it worked. I assumed because of its green credentials that some effectiveness woukd be lost, but this didn't seem to be the case. It cleaned at least as well as my regular non bio.

• Are you a new convert to Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?

Yes and no. I really liked the product and would buy when on sale, but I do a huge amount of washing so couldn't justify the spend to convert to this as a regular thing. Like a PP I might buy a bottle to use just for bed linen.

Favourite thing.... the ecological aspect. Plus the clothes were softer than with powder.
Surprise... the scent. I like the smell of most ecover products... citronella on the floor cleaner is one of my favourites. But the sandalwood scents is too 'perfumey' for me, and whilst it was ok on line dried laundry, it did rain and I put a load of laundry on a rack. It takes a while to dry like this, and the perfume combined with a slightly musty scent which did not please me at all. Plus I found it less effective than non bio powder on stains like poo and blood.
Convert..... not unless it's on offer and I wouldn't be buying this scented one ever. I do buy ecover for things like toilet cleaner and floor cleaner as one bottle will last quite a while. But not for washing up liquid or laundry... apart from the expense, I would need to take a special trip into town as they are not available in my local supermarket. This does make me sad as I would prefer to buy ecological cleaning products.

What was my favourite thing? Knowing it's eco friendly and also the smell was nice and fresh.

What surprised me? Good cleaning power and left clothes feeling soft.

Convert- maybe although it is quite pricey so I would probably only buy it if it was on offer.

Favourite thing:
I buy natural, non bio products usually (method liquid, surcharge etc) so this fits in with the sort of thing I buy. I really liked the handle - makes pouring with a baby on my hip much less likely to result in spills.

Surprising:
That it has an overwhelmingly strong smell. I expect people who buy natural, sensitive, eco type products not to want strong fragrances. The sandalwood was overpowering even as I opened the parcel, before opening the bottle. And strong each time I use. Thankfully it's not too strong on the washed clothes but still this puts me off.

Am I a convert?
No for two reasons. 1) The Nappy Lady advises not using Ecover on cloth nappies and even if I bought two separate products 2) I cannot stand the smell and would prefer unfragranced .

I also forgot to mention the most important point that yes it cleans as well as method liquid and got baby led weaning food out.

The fabulous smell of the clean clothes. That would almost be enough to convert me on its own.

How soft our clothes came out. I wasn't expecting there to be a noticeable difference.

I would definitely buy it if the price was right. I'd be interested to know Ecover's reasons for charging so much more than non eco detergents, because if it's justifiable, i'd be persuaded to pay more.

What was your favourite thing about using Ecover Non-Bio
My favourite thing about using Ecover Non-Bio was how clean it made our laundry. My husband is a farmer and even his grass stained/mud splattered clothes came out clean without having to use tons of the liquid or high temperatures.

What surprised you the most about Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
What surprised me most was how little the detergent foams in the machine. I had previously assumed lots of bubbles meant better cleaning. However, this does not seem to be the case as my laundry came out cleaner than ever!

Most definitely!
The fact Ecover is an ethical company really appeals to me. I like that the non-bio liquid still produces great results even at low temperatures with a lovely fresh scent.

The clean was as good as other brands that aren't branded as eco

I'm afraid not. I wasn't keen on the smell, it just didn't smell fresh enough for me, I couldn't smell it on the clothes at all once they were dry. It's also pricey.

The lovely fresh scent that is not like standard laundry fragrance.

How well it cleaned the clothes - my preconception was that it would not clean as well as my usual brand but I think it did.

Are you a new convert to Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
Yes to the product, but no way at the RRP - it is 3x the cost of my usual (budget supermarket own brand) washing liquid and doesn't seem to do the job of washing any better. I wish I cared more about the green aspect but I'm afraid that I don't. If I did, I would be a convert for sure!

My favourite thing was how actually Non-Bio washing powder cleans clothes so well. I was familiar with Ecover brand before as bough washing up liquid and all purpose cleaner but Non Bio Laundry detergent.With two messy boys I thought that there is not much point buying Non Bio.I was surprised that it washes very well and as other reviewers commented leaves clothes soft which is added bonus. Fragrance is lovely,just right strength, not too strong like other laundry detergent.
Also it is great doing little bit for planet and a lot for my family health benefits using Ecover Non-Bio washing powder.

I loved size, it is so convenient to use concentrated Laundry detergent,less space to use and small bottle goes long way.However most surprising thing for me is stain free clothes.I am very impressed.

Yes I really liked it. I have dry skin so have to be careful but I didn't have any problems at all. I usually use powder & prefer it as it's easier to store. I thought it was better environmentally too as you don't need plastic bottles even if they are recycled?! I may switch if on offer, it will depend which is cheaper on the day as offers change frequently but I'm sure I will be purchasing in the future.
