I would definitely be buying it i really enjoyed using it, it was kind on even the youngest member of our family ( 5 months old)

Favourite thing? It's a liquid- less messy than our usual powder

Surprised me? I didn't really like the smell. I wanted to but didn't, I can't really explain what it was in particular though.

Convert? No, sorry. I had a couple of food stains that didn't come out that would have with my usual powder so I'm sorry but I need to stick with what I use already.

The lovely fresh scent, I have used eco laundry products previously and the scents put me off but this smells lovely

Yes, although I feel it's a bit too expensive for regular use but I would buy if on promotional offer

I haven't been able to get hold of my test sample
Delivery was apparently attempted first week of may (no card left). I had a message from MNHQ asking me to call the courier company so they could arrange redelivery. I did, waited in on the appointed day, and the courier didn't turn up. I'd specifically said if they couldn't find the house to ring my mobile and checked they had the number - no call received.
I'm not going to lose another day waiting in for them, and the depot is a good half hours drive away, so I'm giving up on this product test.
My son has super sensitive skin and normally we love ecover. We also have a number of woven wraps for baby carrying and ecover is the only thing I'd wash those in. So I'd been looking forward to trying this.

I love the smell and that the clothes don’t seem to need fabric softener. Being gentle on my daughter’s skin is the most important thing though. I like that it is better for the environment too.

• What surprised you the most about Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?

How well it cleaned. I wasn’t entirely sure how well it would work, but this is great. Your clothes look and smell great after use, despite it being a non-bio.

It was very neat to use – I am used to getting a bit of a sticky mess from using dosing tops but this packaging worked really well.

Yes I am. I currently use Fairy Non-Bio just for my daughter’s laundry and use a tougher biological detergent for everything else, but this one seems to work really well for everything.

The fragrance was gorgeous, really beautiful without being overwhelming as lavender based scents can sometimes be.

Just how little you needed & then how clean it got the washing.

Absolutely, and I've recommended it to my sister who's pregnant for new baby clothes.

That it left my DCs' clothes so soft and fresh smelling. I usually use Persil Non-Bio liquid and the clothes are definitely softer with the Ecover. I like the scent, not over powering but definitely fresh smelling.

What surprised you the most about Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
That it actually did a decent job of cleaning the clothes! That sounds bad written down, but I must admit whilst I like the eco credentials of "greener" products I do assume that this will mean they are not as effective. Which is not the case I now know.

Are you a new convert to Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
Yes, I would buy the product again, and am now more likely to try Ecover's other products. I'm not sure yet if I would permanently switch, I will wait to see when I've finished the rest of the bottle whether I carry on being impressed and that it doesn't affect the colours of their clothes (we like brights!).

The washing smelled clean after washing and drying (outside on the line). It was also surprisingly soft and it didn't feel like there was any residue left on the clothes as is sometimes the case with my usual detergent despite being cautious with how much I use. Oh and it being a small bottle and only a small amount to use for each wash. Took up less space in the utility room.

That it cleaned well. I wasn't really expecting that. (sorry). Also loads of foam even though we're in a very hard water area.

Yes if is on offer I would certainly buy it again.

I loved how soft it left our clothes but especially the towels. I really liked the smell, just wish it could have been a little stronger or longer lasting.

It was very good but didn't remove all stains associated with small children/babies so it would depend upon the price. For everyday clothes, sheets and towels would be perfect.

The smell. I normally don't like different smelling detergents as I've used our usual (Fairy Non-Bio) for a long long time. If friends pass on kids clothing I always rewash as it never smells right. Well the smell of the Ecover is fantastic. Even DH commented when we was unloading the machine earlier to ask what I'd used and said it smelt really fresh and clean.

What surprised you the most about Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
Partly how much I liked the smell but also the performance. I did a load with several items of clothing worn to nursery and that always comes back stained. There was one pair of leggings that had dried on blood all around the knee and whatever the orange coloured lunch was that day splashed all over the thighs. I did put this load on at 40 degrees instead of my usual 30 degrees but was still surprised when the leggings came out stain free. I know they wouldn't have done with the Fairy.

Are you a new convert to Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
Oh my goodness yes. I think it is fantastic. We are a family of sensitive skin suffers and with two children at nursery we get through a lot of clothes. I really like this based on smell, stain removal and softness. I don't think I will get as many washes out of a bottle as it states (and I am counting by putting a little marker pen dash on the bottle each time) but if it works out comparative cost wise or not too much more than my usual Fairy Non-Bio (as I would pay extra) I will 100% be swapping over.

What was your favourite thing about using Ecover Non-Bio - Concentrated Laundry Detergent?
I really liked the smell. It smelt really fresh and not like a laundry liquid. The smell carried through into the dried clothes.

I was surprised it was so thin a liquid. That made me think it wouldn't clean well but it was quite effective when dealing with bedsheets covered in sick from DDs tummy bug.

It really depends on the retail price.

Having tried this over the last couple of weeks I have to say I wasn't impressed. The smell was ok but had to re wash a few of my children's clothes due to food staining not coming out. It was easy to use but I wouldn't purchase it again.sorry!

can anyone tell me if this is a new formulation?

Being an early adopter of this eco product I tried it years ago and found it really disappointing, it didn't get even basic marks out at a cold water wash, and it foamed up a lot in the drum. Rinsing was a problem and everything felt greasy and yellowish.

Has there been a change of formula, or were you all using a 60degree wash. I try and reduce my eco / carbon footprint by using a 30degree wash or lower and find half the recommended of Persil gets stains out perfectly at this low energy cycle with soft water.

What temperatures were you using in the main, and did you use the full recommended dose for your water hardness?

Lovely smelly, was quite surprised as have used Ecover products before and found the smell quite 'old' (lavender and sandalwood type) but this one was quite nice and better that e.g. Persil

these are bizarre feedback questions. I can't say I had a 'favourite thing'??! I liked that it didn't trigger DS eczema and liked that it worked as a laundry detergent. I wouldn't say that these things are 'favourite' material.

I was completely unsurprised by the product which is a laundry detergent and cleaned clothes just as I expected it to with no surprises. I don't want surprises from my detergent!!

I was happy with the product, but would be unlikely to buy it (or 'be converted') unless there was a super special offer or my usual detergent was for some reason unavailable. This is solely for reasons of price (and the fact that it is in no way better than the cheaper alternatives).

Sorry to be a grump, the product was fine, I liked it, I'd probably recommend it but I wasn't surprised by it, I'm not a convert and I don't have a favourite aspect...

Oh and to the PP who asked, we wash at 30 and had no issues. We usually use fairy non-bio and found it to be the same. No residue, washed effectively etc.

The eco credentials and the nice bottle, easy to pour and no mess. I use Ecover for washing up liq and hand wash so like the brand anyway.

It all comes down to price. Happy to buy in large quantities but not willing to pay more than persil.

I decided to really put it to the test by using it to wash my dog's muddy towels. Cleaned them beautifully and even got rid of that honking dog smell!

The smell was lovely and I enjoyed having the scent of freshly laundered clothes through my house

I'm not a fan of lavender scent but the with the sandalwood it really worked well. I was expecting big things from it so gave it the ultimate test of smelly gym kit washed at 30, but it came out still a bit pongy but performed no worse than my usual detergent.

That it's kinder to the environment. I always try to be conscious of the most environmentally conscious option and this lets you know that you're doing something better.

Like others, I was concerned about the cleaning power of Ecover but it washed our holiday clothes as well as my normal brand!

If the price is right, I'd definitely buy again.

The smell of clothes were very lovely and they came out clean. The clothes still have the clean, fresh smell almost a week after washing.

How little was required to wash a 9kg load. I was also surprised at how clean my toddler’s clothes were.

I am especially for my DS’s clothes as it gives my his clothes a clean fresh smell while getting all the messy stains out. I have not been achieve this in the past as his skin gets irritated by all fragranced detergents and fabric fresheners I have tried in the past.
