Ecover has asked us to find 250 Mumsnetters to test their new Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent.

Selected testers will be sent a 875ml bottle (RRP £6.50) of the Ecover Non Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent in new fragrance, Lavender & Sandalwood. They will then need to test the product as a part of their normal routine and give feedback on a survey and a feedback thread on Mumsnet.

Grin newaveragebear I was just coming on to say the exact same thing - my excitement about this is disproportionate! I have a LOT of laundry (which doesn't otherwise make me feel excited at all)

Put on my first wash! Bit impulsive- it's a wool wash, which is not recommended - but it was already in the machine and I couldn't wait. Smells good so far.

Mine arrived yesterday, smells really nice. Beautiful day here so I'm planning several loads of washing and getting it dry on the line!

I'm very interested to try this; we don't have any sensitive skin in our family so in all honesty I've never put a huge amount of thought into washing powders. I've also never really considered 'greener' options and previously have always used supermarket own brand non bio.

We are a family of 5 so I do a lot of washing. The biggest challenge for us is the baby's stuff - he gets everything filthy, stained with food etc so I'll be very keen to see how Ecover faces up to that!

I've got mine but have seen the feedback thread yet. The smell is a bit strong for me but the washing has come out nice and clean so far.

My wool wash came out pretty good too. I'm now five loads in, but no word of feedback thread here either.

Mine arrived yesterday too, I was impressed by its performance on a white wash. Where do we give feedback?

I've been really impressed with it's white wash cleaning. Thought I'd really test it on a poo splodged vest and a chocolate smeared t-shirt, both didn't stand a chance. Fragrance is nice on the clothes too. Not sure how long it will last as I need to put a cap and a half in on a big wash.

Did a white wash today and I'm really impressed- it's come out nice and bright!

The scent is quote strong I'd say- it's not unpleasant, but I want my newborn to smell of yummy baby not laundry detergent.

No one has had a reaction yet, and I've very sensitive skin.

Forgot to say- no stains on the cloth nappies either! Nor fading, though you would hope it wouldn't after one wash!
