Ecover has asked us to find 250 Mumsnetters to test their new Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent.

Here’s what Ecover has to say: “Natural born innovators since 1979, here at Ecover, we unlock the power of plant-based biodegradable ingredients to bring you a greener, cleaner clean that’s not only effective, but lessens the burden on our planets resources. Packed full of Smart Green Science with naturally derived active ingredients, our new concentrated laundry detergents leave your washing spotless and smelling sublime. Derived from soybean, our plant-based formulation smooths and protects laundry fibres making them luxuriously soft and kind next to skin. With naturally inspired, dual-note fragrances that leave your laundry beautifully scented and full of natural freshness, our expert formulation is kind to the environment, your home and your family. Tough on stains and safe for even sensitive skin, choose Ecover for a greener, cleaner laundry experience.”

Selected testers will be sent a 875ml bottle (RRP £6.50) of the Ecover Non Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent in new fragrance, Lavender & Sandalwood. They will then need to test the product as a part of their normal routine and give feedback on a survey and a feedback thread on Mumsnet.

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,

Yes, I would love to try. I'm a fan of Ecozone products, mostly because they smell better than Ecover, but Ecover products are much easier to find -- so I need to find some items in the product line that I like!

AngelDog · 18/04/2017 21:47

I'd love to try it, but my son's eczema gets worse with fragrances including natural ones so we can only use unfragranced natural products.

BL0SS0M · 18/04/2017 22:51

Environmentally friendly, kind on clothes and works with any temperature. Absolutely love it!

GeorgeW78 · 20/04/2017 15:54

I'd love to try this, I have dry sensitive skin so think it could help me. I've recently used their washing up liquid and was impressed.

dannydog1 · 20/04/2017 17:44

Would like trying a new one

LeafyUmbreon · 20/04/2017 17:45

Signed up, fingers crossed.

Have always wanted to use this, especially as it's plant-based, my husband and I stuggle with sensitive skin (and no doubt our l'il bean will too) so it'd be great to try it out first hand to see if it helps out.

Jenba590 · 20/04/2017 18:18

would love to try this out

claza93 · 20/04/2017 21:16

Love to try this! My childrens skin is very sensitive - would love to see if this makes a difference

IllMetByMoonlight · 21/04/2017 01:08

Lavender and Sandalwood!? Swoon...
I use a lot of Ecover products and would enjoy this opportunity to formally put one through its' paces.

Burtsmrs · 21/04/2017 20:58

My daughter has a condition similar to precocious puberty she is 7 years old and has arm pit hair which we shave and now has pubic hair which is really distressing her. She wants to 'deal with it' and id welcome thoughts on providing her with a lady shave. I feel its safer with this as my very strong willed 7 year old is likely to get the venus razor out and do it anyway. Thanks

Put my name in that hat too please

diammondgirlz2013 · 22/04/2017 22:42

Would love to test/review this! We use eCover washing up liquid and find 1 bottle lasts so very long!
1 little drop is all it needs to create nice bubbly Water!

Travelledtheworld · 23/04/2017 08:05

Happy st George's day!! Dragons and all that England stuff! Roast beef Sunday dinner for us today - is that british/English enough!

weegiemum · 24/04/2017 14:53

I'd be very happy to do this. I'd prefer eco-friendly but we've not found a brand dh's allergy can tolerate (he's ok with recommend own on a double rinse) so I'd like to test this as an alternative for our family.

MrsOs · 25/04/2017 12:23

Done

Notsandwiches · 25/04/2017 13:27

I try to use products that are kind for us and kind on the environment - would love to try this. Love lavender too, so calming.

luckey77 · 26/04/2017 12:54

I've also signed up as I would be very interested in trying this product to put it to the test!

Halsall · 26/04/2017 13:49

Signed up. Already use Ecover dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid, and really rate them. We normally use Waitrose's sensitive washing liquid so would be curious to know how Ecover's compares.

foxymama1983 · 28/04/2017 11:38

Oooooh has anyone else had the email to say they're a tester?

Should be arriving tomorrow- (I'm disproportionately excited about the fact I've been selected!)
