We’ve been asked by the team at Liz Earle to find 50 UK MNers to try out their Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser and Superskin™ Moisturiser with natural neroli.

Testers will be supplied with a Cleanse & Polish™ 100ml pump with 2 cotton cloths (£15.50 RRP) and a Superskin™ Moisturiser with natural neroli 50ml jar (£39.00 RRP) and asked to try them out at home and report back with feedback at least twice on a thread on MN (as well as add a review on MN).

Liz Earle say; “We’d love to hear what Mumsnetters think about one of the most-awarded cleansers in the UK and our hero Superskin™ Moisturiser. Our radiance-boosting Cleanse & Polish™ is a British beauty essential. It deeply cleanses to remove daily grime, pollutants and make up to reveal smoother, clearer and brighter-looking skin. It’s also the perfect preparation for the next step in your beauty routine. Our Superskin™ Moisturiser with natural neroli helps slow the ticking, naturally. It’s delicately scented with natural neroli and is rich in omega-3, GLA and antioxidants to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for radiantly youthful-looking skin.”

Are you starting to see changes in your skin and want to try and look after it better? We’re looking for MNers for this test who are ideally in their 30s or 40s and who love trying natural skincare products.

More info here: www.mumsnet.com/pdf/liz-earle-products.pdf

If you’d like to get involved and can add feedback as required, please sign up here and we’ll be in touch with selected testers soon.

All selected testers who try and feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the department store of their choice.

Thanks and good luck!

Gutted to have missed out on this one.

needastrongone · 18/05/2017 12:42

Wow! Got mine today.

I usually use the Emma Hardie Moringa Balm, which is my ultimate favourite product, so I am interested to see the difference.

Thank you.

Where / when is the feedback thread going to be? Will start compiling initial thoughts... flips open notepad, awaits perfect skin

ChocAuVin · 18/05/2017 16:02

First feedback - the cleanser is fractionally too tall to fit in my cabinet Wink

countingdown · 18/05/2017 16:21

I received mine today - love the smell of the moisturiser and can't wait to start using it. Thanks so much.

confusednorthner · 18/05/2017 23:03

Yippee I'd forgotten all about this till my parcel arrived today Grinmoisturiser smells gorgeous.

Nerolipoli · 19/05/2017 11:22

Got my parcel yesterday - thank you! So, initial thoughts:

I don't usually wear make-up, so never really use a cleanser as such (preferring a face wash), but yesterday I was wearing some tinted moisturiser & blusher, so used the cleanser to remove it. I liked the consistency, and the smell (slightly "medicated" smelling, but nice!), and you really feel it is getting rid of all the make-up & grime when massaging in to your face. I've never used a "hot cloth cleanser" before but liked using the muslin cloths & hot water to remove the cleanser - you do feel like you are doing a thorough job. The end result was my face felt really clean, but it did not leave my skin feeling tight as some cleansers can do. My skin actually felt lovely & soft! I am definitely a convert to hot cloth cleansing after using this! I also appreciated the convenience of the pump dispenser.

Now the moisturiser - I have to admit, I was so disappointed in the smell! I was expecting a fresh, "orangey", neroli scent, going by its description, but oh, it smells horrible! It's like flaxseed oil! I'm not sure what it is that I'm actually smelling - the cranberry or borage oil? It does not smell of neroli at all! :( Anyway, I was so looking forward to using the moisturiser in particular, having very neglected skin, but this was a disappointment :(

I have combination skin, so although being in my 40s, I think this particular moisturiser is maybe too rich for my skin. (I can imagine it being nice on dryer skins, or maybe in autumn/winter when cold winds & central heating really dry out your skin.) However, for me, it was very thick & oily, and after application I was very much aware of an oily film on my skin. A few hours later it still didn't feel as if it had sunk in. This morning my skin did feel better, but it was very oily and I couldn't wait to wash my face!

I won't be using the moisturiser in the morning (it's too rich for me and I prefer one with SPF for daytime), but I will persevere with it at night for the week and see how my skin is looking at the end!
