First impression - Not used any Bare Minerals before but was aware of them. I wear minimal makeup most days but have some pigmentation that needs covering at times.

Nice packaging, brilliant shade match and a nice even coverage in first application.

Like the brush a lot, applies the product evenly. I normally use a brush, occasionally a beauty sponge.

Impact - immediately saw that the product gives a lovely glow to the skin. Light coverage but evens out the skin and makes it look really healthy. Doesn't feel at all heavy on the skin.

Application - I used my usual moisturiser before and tried it with and without a primer, it worked well in both instances. Added a powder as I get shiny sometimes through the day, it took the 'glow' off but made it last all day.

Recommend? - yes I would to someone who is happy with a light coverage. I'll probably repurchase when it runs out!

  1. I already use BM every day so was really excited when the parcel arrived. I liked the look of the packaging and was excited to get another BM brush as I love the ones I have already, which I use for powder application. The brush felt lovely and I liked the double-levelled design of it.
  2. I must admit, I was disappointed by the coverage that the product gave, it was practically non-existent! – I certainly wouldn’t say it was anywhere near medium coverage. I did like the feel of the cream and felt it did hydrate my skin well, but had to apply my usual powder foundation over the top to give me even coverage, albeit less than usual.
  3. The product applied ok, I didn’t really feel that the brush was necessary but it felt nice on my skin. As said before, I still had to use powder so it didn’t really change my routine much.
  4. I don’t think I would recommend the product – it didn’t really do much for me, which is disappointing as I usually love BM products. I’ll try watching the video on the BM website and give it another try – hopefully it is just my technique that left me unimpressed!

I was new to Bare Minerals but got a basic foundation set for Christmas which piqued my interest. I'm a get ready, out the door person in the week and I was looking for a foundation that is pretty natural, goes on easily and fast and feels light on the skin.

I actually really liked the complexion rescue gel cream and contrary to some other testers, I found putting it on with a brush was a real revelation - covers quickly and easily, no mess and the finish is better. It looks really natural to me, and is quite light which appeals to me. I'd say it gives me more of a healthy glow than a real coverage which personally is what I'm aiming for.

Having tried a powder foundation, I actually liked returning to a cream - my skin feels like it's being moisturised and I've tried it with and without a primer - it does last better with a primer !

Packaging wise, the box had a high end feel to it although I didn't think the instructions were great.

Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes , for someone looking for a light coverage foundation. However I would urge them to get colour matched properly in store. Would I buy again? Yes, I would and I have actually already popped back to get the correct shade!

1 Your first impressions: are you a bareMinerals® fan already?

I have heard of bareMinerals but haven't previously used any products.

What’s your regular makeup routine?

I usually use primer, tinted moisturiser, powder and mascara.

On What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions, smell etc or the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream?

I like the simple packaging. The instructions were basic but sufficient. The smell is very subtle and inoffensive.

How did you find the brush? Have you used a brush to apply foundation before?

I quite liked the brush but probably wouldn't pay the RRP for it. I do sometimes use a Mac brush for applying foundation but it is a different type - much flatter.

After at least a week of use please share

2 Did you spot an instant impact in terms of natural coverage, glow and hydration of your skin? Please describe the effect the product had in detail.

I liked the sheer cover as I usually go for sheer cover rather than heavier coverage. The consistency/texture was nice and blended well. It gave a dewy finish. I didn't feel it was particularly hydrating but it didn't dry my skin out.

A friend commented that my skin was looking really nice.

3 How easy was it to use this product in your regular makeup routine? Did you use it alone or layer with other products to create a fuller look? How did you find the brush?

I used the product in place of my usual tinted moisturiser and then finished with a very light dusting of powder as I'm more used to a matte finish so the powder just took the edge slightly off the dewy look.

The brush worked well to stipple the product on and then blend. I would have preferred it to be slightly softer.

4 Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream to your friends? Will you buy it again (RRP £27.00)?

I think I would recommend it but only if they were looking for very light coverage as I think it is sheer rather than sheer-medium coverage.

Initially at the beginning of the trial I thought it was quite expensive and maybe wouldn't be value for money. However you only need a very small amount so I think it would last quite a long time. On that basis I probably would buy it again as I felt it was well suited to my very dry skin but would try and get it in a sale.

HollyJollyDillydolly · 13/03/2017 10:57

Your first impressions: are you a bareMinerals® fan already?
I've previously used the Original Bare Minerals powder foundation, warmth and mineral veil and I like them.

What’s your regular makeup routine?
My makeup routine varies depending in how much time I have. If I'm short on time it's just a cc cream, mascara, blusher and lip balm. If I've got more time on my hands I go the whole hog, primer, concealer, foundation, blusher/bronzer, highlighter, brows, eyeshadow, liner, mascara, lip liner & lipstick. On an average day it falls somewhere in the middle.

What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions, smell etc or the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream?
The packaging looks really nice, not too busy, simple and expensive looking. I would have preferred a bit more on the instruction front - I had to Google a YouTube video as I wasn't 100% if I was supposed to use moisturiser first or not. I didn't find the Complexion Rescue to have a strong smell.

How did you find the brush? Have you used a brush to apply foundation before?
I usually use a beauty blender or foundation brush for foundation application. This brush is lovely and soft although I found stippling worked better to blend the product in.

Did you spot an instant impact in terms of natural coverage, glow and hydration of your skin? Please describe the effect the product had in detail.
I was very impressed with the feel of the product on my skin it didn't feel heavy or greasy but my skin felt very soft. The colour was a perfect match. I didn't look or feel like I was wearing a foundation but my skin looks like it's naturally just good skin which is great!

How easy was it to use this product in your regular makeup routine? Did you use it alone or layer with other products to create a fuller look? How did you find the brush?
This product was very easy to use. Depending on how much time I had depended in how I used it. If I was short on time I applied it with my fingers, added a quick swirl of blusher, mascara and lip balm and I was done. When I had longer I found you could layer this quite well to give better coverage without cakeyness. I still used a separate concealer under my eyes. It works well with other make up products like concealer, highlighter/blusher/bronzer it doesnt streak or cake. I liked the brush, it applied the product well and didn't seem to absorb too much.

Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream to your friends? Will you buy it again (RRP £27.00)?
For people wanting less coverage I'd definitely recommend this. I really liked it and have used it everyday since it arrived. I will absolutely be purchasing a replacement when I run out.
Thanks for the opportunity to test SmileFlowers

1 Your first impressions: are you a bareMinerals® fan already?
I liked the packaging and gold tube. The brush looked nice but was just in a plastic bag. I've never used bare minerals before.

What’s your regular makeup routine?
I don't wear makeup generally unless I'm going somewhere particular as I'm on may leave. When I do, I wear a foundation and powder

On What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions, smell etc or the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream?
The packaging was nice. Limited instructions but a bit of trial an error with the amount needed and it was fine. Smell was fine - like makeup!

How did you find the brush? Have you used a brush to apply foundation before?
I generally use fingers to apply foundation and have tried both ways - I could do a thinner layer with fingers but like the brush - it gave a good finish and coverage.

After at least a week of use please share

2 Did you spot an instant impact in terms of natural coverage, glow and hydration of your skin? Please describe the effect the product had in detail.
The product was moisturising although I'm hopeless at remembering to moisturise so anything helps. It evened out my skin without being too heavy like my normal foundation. I forgot I was wearing it which was great.

3 How easy was it to use this product in your regular makeup routine? Did you use it alone or layer with other products to create a fuller look? How did you find the brush?
I used it alone as I liked the way it just evened out my skin tone without looking like I was wearing loads of makeup. The brush gave a good finish and it didn't take any longer than when I apply my own makeup.

4 Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream to your friends? Will you buy it again (RRP £27.00)?
I would recommend it if they were looking for something light and natural. I like it but probably wouldn't buy it again due to price - I need more budget makeup while I'm on mat leave and then working part time

greengoose · 13/03/2017 19:33

1 I didn't have ant BM products before this trial. First impressions were: packaging didn't look overly luxurious, but fine. Brush felt a bit cheap, don't know if it was!
My regular make up consists of concealer, toner for under eyes, light foundation, mascara, and lip gloss. More for evening.
Would usually use slighty fuller brush, but this one worked fine.

2 product felt light on skin. No negative reaction. Skin still needed regular mousturiser.

3 I still used a little concealer around nose and below eyes, product went on well and stayed put.

4 I feel sort of neutral about this product. No negatives, but prefer the Chanel product I'm used to....

Thanks!

I've never used bare minerals before but have heard of the brand. The packaging made it seem grown up and on the higher end of the quality scale as opposed to maybelline or bourjois.
I liked the brush- it gave a finer and more delicate finish to the product- and seemed to help it blend easier than using my fingers

After at least a week of use please share

2 Did you spot an instant impact in terms of natural coverage, glow and hydration of your skin? Please describe the effect the product had in detail.

The coverage and glow was instant, as you can see it on your skin. The hydration I couldn't really tell a difference. However, I have a fairly intensive moisturising routine already so that may be why.

3 How easy was it to use this product in your regular makeup routine? Did you use it alone or layer with other products to create a fuller look? How did you find the brush?

It was very easy to use this in my routine. I don't tend to wear that much makeup so I used it in replacement of my usual powder and bronzer routine.

4 Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream to your friends? Will you buy it again (RRP £27.00)?

Yes, If they currently used a foundation type product on their skin.

whatAREyouwatching · 13/03/2017 20:51

I already have a few favourite Bare Minerals bits in my make-up bag so was keen to test this. I don't usually wear foundation - some BB cream mixed with moisturiser generally, plus concealer.
Initial thoughts - big tube, appealing packaging, neutral smell, pleasant light creamy texture. Not enough instructions though as others have said - should it be over or instead of moisturiser? I used it over as my skin can be a bit dry. Love the brush - made the gel easy to apply evenly.

On me, it gave light, even coverage. It is hydrating so after day 1 I used a bit less moisturiser and my skin still felt comfortable and looked natural. If I'm being picky I could say that the result was less dewy than I'd hoped. I did notice a little itchiness around my jawline on some days.

It added... seconds... to my routine - the ace brush made it really easy to get a good result. I used concealer on dark circles and a dusting of powder afterwards and it all stayed put all day.

My verdict - it gives a similar result to my favourite Roche Posay BB cream in a more luxurious package (with the brush) and I'd recommend it for easy natural coverage. I can't decide if I'd buy it again or not but that is down to the cost, not the product. I'll definitely carry on using it and see how rich I'm feeling when it's all gone Smile

PansyGiraffe · 13/03/2017 21:13

I haven't used Bare Minerals before - I did once get a free tester of foundation from the local department store but I didn't really get on with the powder/brush combo very well. I liked the idea of this because it was a tube so more what I am used to using (tinted moisturiser or BB cream for everyday at work, or foundation for going-out-best). Packaging I thought was fairly standard - didn't particularly stand out either way.

I liked the (lack of) smell and the consistency when it came out of the tube. It was easy to apply. Personally I preferred to use my fingers (as the packaging said) rather than with the brush as I didn't really feel it added anything and I felt a bit stupid stroking my face - wasn't sure how long, how hard, or really what if any difference I was making especially as I was happy with the results without it.

For me Buttercream was perfect colour-wise. I liked how light it felt on my skin but that I could immediately see the difference but looked natural (I added blusher afterwards as I felt my face was a bit monotone - very effective coverage for such a light product!). I didn't need concealer round my nose and less than usual for dark circles. As the day progressed my nose didn't go as shiny as it usually does (normally need to reapply powder) but the coverage stayed good. Certainly I was amazed how much came off when I cleansed my face at the end of the day!

I can't say I've noticed a big difference to the hydration of my skin but my skin is not particularly dry anyway - I certainly haven't noticed a change for the worse (either way - oily or drying). My skin feels as normal and I've had no reactions to the product.

I would recommend it to a friend and will probably buy it again - my only hesitation is cost but I've been really pleased with the product itself.

1 Your first impressions: are you a bareMinerals® fan already? What’s your regular makeup routine? On What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions, smell etc or the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream? How did you find the brush? Have you used a brush to apply foundation before?

I've not really used Bare Minerals before. I did have the mineral makeup applied to my face years ago at a counter, but it was quite heavy, a bit orange and looked a load of faff. So I've not gone near it since.
I tend to have a bare face a third of the time, very light makeup (so BB cream and mascara) a third of the time, and a full - ish face with foundation, concealers, powder, eye makeup etc a third of the time. For special occasions I'd apply my foundation with a brush, but mostly I'd just use fingers.

My first impressions on the Complexion Rescue are very positive! I like the coverage a lot - it makes my skin look clearer, and more dewy. And it's very subtle. The colour is excellent for me too - I used birch, which I selected with the online colour matcher. The smell is not noticeable really, which is a good choice, and it goes with the subtlety of the product. I mostly apply using fingers, but the brush does leave a better finish. I do find the brush uses a lot of product however (this is true of all brushes and bases).

2 Did you spot an instant impact in terms of natural coverage, glow and hydration of your skin? Please describe the effect the product had in detail.
Yes. It definitely made my skin look clearer, more even and dewy. But it was very subtle -it just looked like better, well rested skin. I didn't think that this product felt greasy or easy or overly moisturising - it was just nice and normal and 'natural'. I don't have too many dry patches at the moment, but the small bit of uneven texture that I do have wasn't highlighted by the Complexion Rescue - it just smoothed over.

It want overly moisturising, but neither did it dry out my skin, which is sometimes a problem for me with the odd product.

3 How easy was it to use this product in your regular makeup routine? Did you use it alone or layer with other products to create a fuller look? How did you find the brush?
Very easy! I really like it just for smoothing onto my face very quickly to even me out a bit on no makeup days. But I could also use a brush or add powder to make it into a fuller, finer coverage product that lasted longer. The brush was ok, but did tend to use a lot of product.

4 Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream to your friends? Will you buy it again (RRP £27.00)?
I have already recommended it, and I expect I'll repurchase unless I find that the tube gets used up too too quickly or I suddenly break out. I really genuinely like this product, thank you so much for letting me trial it, and introducing me to it. Tbh, I'd not have considered Bare Minerals again until this test.

HoneyDragon · 14/03/2017 13:52

1 Your first impressions: are you a bareMinerals® fan already? What’s your regular makeup routine? On What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions, smell etc or the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream? How did you find the brush? Have you used a brush to apply foundation before?

I love Bare Minerals eyeshadows but found the foundations hit and miss as several oxidised on my skin. The packaging and scent is fairly unobtrusive which I like. The instructions were fine, although could be more comprehensive for people who don't use a sponge or brush for foundation. I've used brushes to apply foundation before.

2 Did you spot an instant impact in terms of natural coverage, glow and hydration of your skin? Please describe the effect the product had in detail.

Yes definitely. It's an incredibly natural looking product, very much my skin but better effect. I love that this and a coat of mascara means you can be ready to go in minutes. Or it builds up beautifully and you can add powder blush contour etc and have a full coverage face. Will certainly save the need for a day be cream and full coverage foundation for evenings on holidays etc. It's very hydrating.

3 How easy was it to use this product in your regular makeup routine? Did you use it alone or layer with other products to create a fuller look? How did you find the brush?

Much easier, love the gel. I stopped using the brush though and found it easier to apply using a damp beauty blender. I think that's purely preference though. It certainly worked better on the nose area with the blender. I have used it daily both built up as a full fave and alone with just mascara and lip tint. I love its versatility.

4 Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream to your friends? Will you buy it again (RRP £27.00)?

I've already recommended it. It's excellent. I will be purchasing it again but would certainly shop around as it's quite expensive .... £24.00 is my absolute limit for a foundation I intend to use with regularity. I was disappointed with the lack of shades offered through QVC and other reatailers. I will be buying more as wish to use it on holiday.

Stopmithering · 14/03/2017 14:38

1 Your first Impressions. Are you a bareMinerals fan already? What's your regular make-up routine? What are your initial thought s on the packaging, instructions, smell etc of the Complexion Rescue cream?

I am 45, have relatively ok skin and usually only wear mascara on a normal day, unless I am going out in the evening, when I make more of a makeup effort. Over the Winter months, I think I look quite pale and pasty but have never been a fan of faffing around with foundation. I'm not keen on how heavy it makes my skin feel and I worry that I look a bit ridiculous with too much makeup on! Of course I have heard of bareMinerals but have never risked spending money on their products so far.
My first impressions of the packaging etc were positive. It looks like a quality product but I'm never too sure how influenced I am by brand names!
As far as instructions are concerned, there was very oittle information. Even though I am 45 and should know better, I could have done with some guidance on how best to apply.

How did you find the brush ?

I have never used a brush before. It was ok but I think I prefer fingertips.

2 Did you spot an instant impact...?

Yes. The cream is easy to apply and went on my skin nicely. It was easy to get a smooth finish and I didn't need a lot of it. It gave me a much more even look and lasted throughout the day. It was relatively comfortable to wear, and didn't feel too heavy or claggy at all. As far as hydrating goes, I tink the product worked well. My skin has felt really quite good since I have been using the gel cream.

3 How easy was it to use this product...?

Very easy really, despite my normal makeup routine being just mascara! I'm probably going to horrify most makeup users now, but I rarely wash my face in the evening. Wearing this has forced me to wash it off before bed, which I do find a bore, but I think my skin is benefitting! I don't own much makeup but feel the product would look better if I used it with some blusher of some sort, as it does give a very even tone.

4 Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue..?

For an easy boost to my appearance, yes I would recommend it. I have been really impressed with it. Would I buy it again? I suspect I will, but with a view to using it over the winter months. £27 is a lot of money for me!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try it out.
As I said, I don't have pots of money to chuck around, so have shied away from investing in expensive makeup for fear I would be wasting my money.

woodwaj · 14/03/2017 22:01

1 Your first impressions: are you a bareMinerals® fan already? I haven't used bareMinerals before. I was impressed with what I received, it looked great.

What’s your regular makeup routine? I keep my make up routine simple, blusher, eyeshadow, liner and mascara. If I am going out I will add foundation but don't use if often.

On What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions, smell etc or the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream? I didn't notice a smell which is a good thing. the packaging is nice. The instructions were a bit too simple, I was unsure if I should moisturise before given that it is advertised a hydrating cream.

How did you find the brush? Have you used a brush to apply foundation before? I do normally use a brush, and I do prefer this one, good coverage and soft to use. I stippled the cream on then applied using a circular motion which seemed to work well.

2 Did you spot an instant impact in terms of natural coverage, glow and hydration of your skin? Please describe the effect the product had in detail. My skin instantly looked glowy, if I had to describe it, I would say it was like a snapchat filter!! I did not notice any particular hydration though and noticed that the cream looked much better when used with moisturiser. My skin did look dry when I used it without.

3 How easy was it to use this product in your regular makeup routine? Did you use it alone or layer with other products to create a fuller look? How did you find the brush? It was very easy, it adds around an extra 1 minute to my routine, I used all my other make up as normal, provides a nice base for eyeshadow and lasts all day. I did not layer it as it was enough for day use on its own. I like the brush and will continue to use it.
4 Would you recommend the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream to your friends? Will you buy it again (RRP £27.00)? I would and have recommended, I will continue to use it as well but I would prob go to the counter and double check I have the right shade just to make sure.

Thank you for letting me test it! overall I love it!

Maudlinmaud · 15/03/2017 09:22
  1. I wear makeup every day, my usual routine is to cleanse and moisturise followed by a liquid foundation base with a medium coverage, eye makeup, the full works. I do normally use a brush to apply foundation. The complexion rescue came in a sleek plastic tube, I was glad it wasn't yet another glass bottle, so much easier to transport when I'm on the go. I would descibe the product as a gel cream it has a fresh fragrance. The brush seems to be of a high quality, hasn't lost any of it's hairs yet and is nicely weighted.
  1. I applied the product without moisturiser underneath as it has a good slip to it. I have dehydrated skin at the moment and usually liberally apply moisturiser before foundation but really didn't need to with complexion rescue. The gel feels light and comfortable and definitely hydrating. I used my fingers for the initial application then concealed under my eyes and applied a second layer with the brush, buffing it in circular motions. I feel this gives me the best results. The coverage doesn't go cakey or feel too heavy. But it certainly evened out my skin tone, my freckles where still visible I wasn't sure if I liked that but it's growing on me.
  1. I have used complexion rescue with other products, it works best for me when I use a concealer under my eyes and around my nose. I did powder it on days where I knew I couldn't touch up but tbh it doesn't need powder and wears well without going patchy. I prefer it on days when I want a very natural look. My holy grail foundation is YSl touche eclat as it gives the best coverage and sheen but complexion rescue could rival it on glow and dew. The product provides a natural glow whilst sitting beautifully on the skin. The colour wheat was a great match for me it blended easily and didn't go orange.

4 I have recommended Complexion Rescue to some of my friends, especially those who commented on my skin. They have said they prefer this to my usual full coverage foundation. Blush
Thank you for allowing me to test your product. I am now a customer.

I'm new to BM

Packaging of product attractive with shade and info on box easy to read.

If I'm honest, I've previously been put off BM base products due to the thought of mixing/powders etc. This BM Complexion rescue all ready in a tube sounded perfect to trial.

I have a reasonably established skincare routine and use a serum and moisturiser following cleansing in the morning. On quite bare days I use a tinted moisturiser, so this BM product really appeals to me. Instructions lacking, I initially applied over my usual moisturiser with the brush provider which gave a lovely even application.

My skin felt extremely hydrated and comfortable. I certainly had a glow to my face and a dewy finish. I used with a little concealer under my eyes and a sweep of matte bronzer on my cheeks and was good to go. My chosen shade was near as perfect as could be. This in itself was a great surprise, after just choosing from the online chart.

Within a week, I will admit I was back to using my fingertips to apply, it's speed and personal preference I guess. I was also using with no products underneath. I felt that applied over my serum/moisturiser it gave me a far shinier finish than I wanted....with spf 30 I will certainly be using this on my less made up days on its own .

I would recommend to friends with a slightly drier skin as I found this gel cream extremely hydrating....just as it says on the box.

First time using bareMinerals®. I don't usually wear foundation, just moisturiser and very occasionally a BB cream. I liked the packaging. It was simple and neat. I did find the instructions a bit lacking, I would have liked to have had some more detail. The smell wasn't overpowering or unpleasant. I've never used a brush to apply foundation before and generally prefer using my fingertips but I'm persevering with it.

So far I like it, I'll answer the rest when I've used it for a week.

1 Your first impressions: are you a bareMinerals® fan already?
I haven't used bare minerals before.

What’s your regular makeup routine?
I don't usually wear makeup, just use bb cream & lip balm!. But if I'm going out I use Dior foundation, mascara & Clinique lipstick

On What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions, smell etc or the Complexion Rescue™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream?
Packaging looked nice! Was very exciting to receive in the post and couldn't wait to try it out.

How did you find the brush? Have you used a brush to apply foundation before?
I've never used a brush to apply foundation before so was intrigued! I liked the brush, it was nice & soft - not bristly at all. It helped give good, even coverage & was easy to use.

After at least a week of use please share

It was really easy to use and became part of my routine quickly. I just used it alone and I loved the brush.

Thanks so much, I have loved doing this test!
I have very fair, dry skin. I picked Opal from the website, and it was a perfect match.

I've never used bareMinerals before but have wanted to try some for ages :)

My usual makeup routine involves slapping on some foundation as quickly as I can (I use quite a full coverage Clinique foundation), followed by quick bit of mascara. For nights out, the same but a little more care and some eyeliner!

Unlike everyone else I was a bit underwhelmed by the packaging, it was fine, but a bit meh (I am like a small child right enough and like gaudy packaging- it's the only reason I buy Benefit stuff!)
Smell was fine - inoffensive.
Instructions were fine although I might have liked something a bit more in depth, especially re the brush.

I wasn't expecting a brush - I've never really got on with them before. For the first few days I carried on with my usual quick slap on with fingers, however on trying the brush I LOVE it, it makes such a difference to how the product goes on and I won't go back!

I did spot an instant glow.
However I think I needed to use the product for a couple of weeks to see a real difference. At first I was slightly disappointed - I think because I was used to a full coverage, and it didn't look much like I was wearing anything at all.
A couple of weeks on though I love it so much - I think partly as I've got used to the more natural coverage, and partly because I've got better at applying it (with the brush!) - you can layer it a little for more coverage. However I really think it's made a big difference to the condition of my skin - I had some central heating induced scaly patches, a couple of chin spots and really uneven skin tone on my cheeks (gorgeous, me!) but a couple of weeks on my skin looks better even with nothing on.

It's like my skin but better, basically!

Easy peasy. Looooved the brush, once I got the hang of it (some more detailed instructions on that would be handy) - makes a real difference applying it with the brush I think. I used it alone bar a bit of concealer on a chin spot, and some mascara. I did use my normal foundation for a night out - I might try mixing the two next time.

Already have recommended it! I must admit I probably wouldn't have tried it at that price (I grudgingly hand over £25 for my foundation if I can't get a deal), but I will absolutely be buying it again, love it (it's lasting well though!)

Thanks again.
