This product test is open to all UK MNers who are homeowners and would like to freshen up or add a splash of colour to their home and are available to paint their room and give feedback by the 11th April.

Selected testers will be sent a voucher for a 2.5L tin of Valspar Premium Blend v700 Walls & Ceilings, a Harris roller and tray set and a Harris brush which will be valid from the 20th March. Testers will be required to paint a wall or room in their home and then post feedback on a thread and complete a short survey by the 11th April at the latest. Testers will also be asked to share before and after photographs of their room or wall - please only apply if you’re happy to do this.

Sign up here.

All those selected who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

This would be perfect as I'm about to revamp our master bedroom with a decorating project.

SillyMoomin · 07/03/2017 14:18

Oh goodness yes please!! I've got a massive streak of colour across the top of the ceiling where I painted the walls and needing to find a decent paint that won't drip on my head whilst I paint! Grin

Mumofazoo · 07/03/2017 16:39

This would be perfect as I have just finished painting my living room and want to start the hall next.

I would love to try this out as I am preparing to decorate our living room. It hasn't been done for over 10 years and really needs an update and some tlc

PickledLilly · 07/03/2017 21:20

I've got a massive renovation project on my hands so I'm going to be decorating about 11 rooms over the next few years. It would be good to find a decent paint as I've been really disappointed in the quality of the last couple of tins I bought

InMySpareTime · 07/03/2017 21:20

Signed up, the hallway desperately needs painting with a house full of teenagers marking it all the time!

AGrinWithoutACat · 08/03/2017 06:02

Signed up - really want to freshen up the kitchen and paint sounds great Smile

MrsJamin · 08/03/2017 06:43

Yes please. Although TBH 2.5 litres doesn't sound a lot? You couldn't do a couple of coats of a room with that?

MrsJamin · 08/03/2017 06:44

Oh actually we won't have painted by 11th April. My feedback stands though that I think you should be giving away 5L.

Caillou · 08/03/2017 08:41

Would it be suitable for bathrooms?

NotMeNoNo · 08/03/2017 08:43

I'll do it, got two very bright red/blue rooms to neutralise so that should be a challenge!

onadifferentplanet · 08/03/2017 12:06

Hello MNHQ, Your post says you have to be a homeowner but the survey seems to say different. Does that mean there's no point applying if you are a tenant?

AmethystRaven · 08/03/2017 13:11

I have completed the survey, sounds great! So if selected, we paint between 20th March and 11th April? If so, would a semi finished after picture be OK? It's just that I can't promise to have it all done by then with a 2 year old 'helping' but I could certainly get some done.

Mungobungo · 08/03/2017 16:05

This is annoying! I've just used valspar paint to paint my living room wall!! It's bloody good I tell you!

FuckingHateRats · 08/03/2017 16:19

Signed up!

Justwantcookies · 08/03/2017 21:16

What area does 2.5l cover? Does not sound like a lot

PurpleDaisies · 08/03/2017 21:38

We did two coats in our porch with 2.5l. It's not a huge room but we still had loads left. The coverage is excellent. It was almost perfect after one coat.

QueenOfTheWhiteWalkers · 09/03/2017 00:44

I would love to take part in this!

caffeineanddryshampoo · 09/03/2017 10:17

This would be brilliant, tackling the hallway next!

NC1nightstand · 09/03/2017 17:00

I cannot tell you how timely this is! I need paint that can cover up my darlings graffiti at the top of the stairs and fast! I haven't used Valspar before but I love the adverts I've seen and the range of colours looks like my cup of Earl Grey! Smile

Angelkimmy · 09/03/2017 19:45

This would be great, want to do the kids bedroom...

CocoaLeaves · 09/03/2017 19:50

I have just painted DD's room with this - it is gorgeous and great coverage. I am about to do DS' room next, the hall and the stairs, and the living room. So need more than 2.5 litres, and the bit about photos in this test puts me off. But I love this range anyway - nice and fresh colours.

AngelicCurls · 09/03/2017 22:04

Signed up, just about to start our living room so this is great timing

DreamsInBlack · 09/03/2017 22:16

Perfect timing! I'm just about to decorate son's old bedroom, transforming it into the beautiful bedroom I've always yearned for (and deserve!). Can't wait to transform this, literally, white blank canvas into somewhere I can relax, recharge and retreat for some me time.
