1. What are your thoughts on the smell of Fairy Non Bio gel?
It smells really nice and fresh - the smell is noticeable but it's definitely not overpowering at all.

2. How well did you feel Fairy Non Bio gel cleaned your clothes?
Very well! I have a mucky baby and pre-schooler and their clothes came out lovely and stain free having been covered in mud, pasta and paint that day Grin

3. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin?
Definitely. My eldest DC does get easily irritated skin but he's had no flare ups after wearing clothes washed in the Fairy Non Bio gel which is fab. My laundry has been lovely and soft, especially the bed sheets I washed - heavenly!

When I opened the bottle I didn't like the smell, it seemed a bit strong and sickly so if I had sneaked a snug before popping it in my trolley I probably wouldn't have purchased this gel. Once used the smell was really very lovely. Clean, subtle, fresh. I like the smell on my baby's clothes.
  1. How well did you feel Fairy Non Bio gel cleaned your clothes? I have tried it on three different loads now. It has got rid of all of the every day stains. We aren't usually a non bio household but this gel has really surprised me. It certainly exceeded my expectations.
  1. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin? Yes, very soft indeed. No issues with sensitivity.

  1. love the smell of fairy laundry products and this was no exception. However the smell of the product itself I found to be very strong and not very nice. When the laundry was washed and dried it smelt really lovely and fresh.
  2. cleaned up my 6 month old baby's messy clothes without the need for stain remover. Excellent

I like the fresh smell and it actually transfers onto the clothes in the wash so I don't need to use added scents like I do with my usual washing liquid.

It did very well and got rid of the baby poop that ended up on DSs vest.

Yes I would, the clothes are very soft after using it and DS has been suffering from mild eczema over the last few weeks so I'm really hopeful this will make a difference in the long run to his comfort levels.

Well. A few tough stains remained in, tomato sauce from the baby dragging his sleeves across his dinner, but otherwise the laundry was good.

Yes, I don't use fabric conditioner as don't like to use unnecessary products on my skin, and found my laundry soft enough after using Fairy Non Bio

It smelt nice & fresh; what I'd expect.

It's done a good job so far! It's got chocolate out of my white dressing gown (!), mud out of my son's jeans, and tomato juice out of a (white) muslin cloth!
  1. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin?
Yes, I would. I've never used fabric softener/ conditioner as it does irritate my skin and sometimes clothes and especially towels don't seem as soft as I'd like them. However this gel made my towels softer as well as lovely & clean. It seems fine for sensitive skin too.

I like the smell. It smells homely and clean but isn't floral or overbearing. It smells natural.

Really well. No problems - everything came out clean! Not a given with 2 dc!
  1. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin?
Yes. Youngest dc has eczema and I'm really careful about what I use on his skin. This has caused no problems. I would definitely use again.

was delighted to recieve my fairy from the postman, i have previously tried fairy but i powder form, which i didnt like as i found it sometimes left residue on my clothing, as with all powders. My eldest son and i suffer from eczema, so find it hard to get a good wash powder/gel that doesnt irritate us. so here goes,

Fresh, the smell is fresh and clean no strong flowery odour that gives you a headache just a good, fresh clean smell. lasts long enough too.

I found it cleaned them extreemly well, i wash at 30 and have 3 children aged 7,8 and 9, so i have mud stains, food stains, paint stains, you name it i wash it. i washed some blood from my sons white school shirt last week from a cut on his elbow playing football, added a small amout to the affected area and popped on a quick wash at 30 came out no problems. 3.Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin? yes i would nice and soft without using fabric conditioner, which is great for us as also its hard to find a good fab con for our skin, also found didnt need to iron most items after drying too which is fab as my ironing piles are often sky high...!! :D all in all its fab love the freshness and softness to the skin without the irritation we usually get from some other big named gels, smells, good, looks good and cleans my whites on a quickwash, what more could i ask for.......!! would recommend to all... 5 stars from me.

Very clean, fresh and not chemically. The scent on clothing following washing was also pleasant.

^ Relatively well - all normal household stains were removed completely however a couple of nappy explosions did leave a little stain. (I wash on thirty degrees). However due to how soft the washing was, my preference would be to treat the those stains with nappysan pre wash and use the fairy to cleanse in the main wash).^

^ Yes - it's very kind to skin. I have sensitive skin and I get no irritation, I completely trust it for my babies skin.^

Thanks for the freebie Fairy!

  1. the smell is fresh and not overpowering. Perfect for children's clothes.

  2. I did a white 50*C wash and it has come out clean & soft. I do tend to use a vanish bar in stains anyway though...

  3. my son has mild eczema and Fairy is the only one I trust. We have had reactions to own brand non-bios so yes, I think it's gentle for sensitive skin.

A few other bits of feedback (which might be covered by the survey but I haven't had a link yet)

  • I live in a hard water area, but there's no measure indicated for the recommended 46ml of gel.
  • if you overpour, you can't pour the gel back into the bottle/box like you can with liquid or powder
  • I had my washing machine repaired last week & co-incidentally the repair man warned me off gel detergents as he feels they over-froth & 'fuck up the electrics'.
  • on a positive note I like the pack design!

Clean, fresh, pleasant but not overpowering. Seems stronger than the Fairy powder I've used in the past which wasn't strong enough to smell obviously clean.

2. How well did you feel Fairy Non Bio gel cleaned your clothes?
Really well. We had a few vomiting incidents as well as sone tomato based dinners with no bibs and everything came out of the wash spotlessly clean.

3. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin?
Clothes came out of the machine and the dryer noticeably softer than they do with powder - very impressed. Can sometimes feel crunchy and scratchy, especially if I've used napisan or equivalent in a wash but felt lovely even when dried on the line with the gel.

I love the smell, it's not too overpowering but it's strong enough to smell a few days after the wash.

2. How well did you feel Fairy Non Bio gel cleaned your clothes?

Pretty well. I didn't find it great for stain removal, but that's OK, I can use specialist products for that. Certainly no washing I did with fairy needed an extra rinse or even another wash like when I use my usual powder sometimes happens.

3. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin

Clothes were very soft, much more so than with my usual powder. My two toddlers had no irritation, neither did me or my husband. Even my stepson who has asd and is very sensitive to smells and new products had no complaints.

  1. Lovely smell that stayed on the clothes after wear.
  2. Everything was nice and clean after washing - worked well on baby poo explosion and also school shirts with pen all over. Tried washes at 30 and 40 - still cleaned well.
  3. Clothes were soft and no complaints from 2 month old.

The smell of the gel itself was milder than I had imagined but leaves the clothes smelling clean for ages. It succeeded in washing our adult clothes brilliantly, but I think I could have done with a bit more gel for the kids clothes as some small stains remained. But I do have quite a large capacity washer. Clothes came out of the tumble dryer reasonably soft and the littlest's skin hasn't flared up at all (has quite severe eczema) which is a bonus!

Very well, no complaints. We've used the powder for years - since stay ing with mil as she uses it - and dont think anything would take me from it now!

It smells really fresh and clean, not artificial at all. I was a bit 'meh' when I sniffed the bottle as I like stronger scents but it actually transferred really well in the wash and everything came out smelling lovely. In fact, I even noticed it from the garden gate while the washing was on the line :)

It worked just as well as anything else I've used, even on a 30 degree quick wash.

Hasn't caused any irritation on mine or any of my DC's skin and clothes feel as soft as they do with any product.

Thank you for my Fairy gel! I have been using it this week:

  1. What are your thoughts on the smell of Fairy Non Bio gel? It's quite a subtle scent but I do like it. It smells clean and fresh
  1. How well did you feel Fairy Non Bio gel cleaned your clothes? About as well as any other brand I use. Some stains didn't come off first time but that is par for the course with 4 children!
  1. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin? Yes, again it was as good as any other brand.

I enjoyed using this gel, very easy to use and dispense, no mess at all. I would say it is just as good as anything else I use, stubborn stains would still need an application of Vanish or something similar before the wash.

My two boys nursery clothes certainly put it to the test but they all came out clean.

Love, love, LOVE the smell, not only do my clothes smell lovely when I take them out the wash but so does the whole house! Like a detergent and an air freshener in one.

2. How well did you feel Fairy Non Bio gel cleaned your clothes?

It was no better or no worse than my current shop brand which is good at getting stains out, the small bottle is handy as my current brand is huge in my tiny kitchen.

3. Would you say Fairy Non Bio gel leaves clothes soft and gentle on sensitive skin?

I have very sensitive skin and so does my son so usually I am wary of changing brands in case of a flare up. No reaction at all and in fact our clothes were as soft as had we used our usual softener, so could be a cost saving if I switch.

Thank you for allowing me to take part...the smell was fantastic lovely and fresh! With having 2 under 3 it certainly done the job and removed all the stains. Compared to what I normally use I would stick to this as I felt it was great for my sensitive skin as some brands can be hit and miss.

  2. It is excellent my little boy is 2 and all the daily stains of food and often paint come out with no trouble.
  3. It's ideal for my son's sensitive skin; bed sheets, towels and his clothes. Also good for us too!

  1. Really lovely smell, seems quite long-lasting too (still fairly fresh Snelling after 2 days in a drawer). Especially lovely after drying some things over the radiator, made the entire living room smell very calm and fresh!
  2. Didn't wash anything too heavily stained, just general every day wear and seemed great - happy with how clean the clothes are.
  3. Yes, very pleased with this.

Much nicer fragrance than I recall when last using the product a while ago - clean and fresh and not too heavy
