Testers, we’d like you to answer the following questions:
-How old is the child that you tested Stérimar Baby with? At the time she was 4 months old and I used it on my 18 month old toddler too

-What were your first impressions of Stérimar Baby? Good! Good packaging, I like the shape of the applicator nozzle

-How easy was it to administer the product? Much easier than any I have used previously due to the angled applicator

-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier? Immediately with both of my children

-How old is the child that you tested Stérimar Baby with?

11 weeks

-What were your first impressions of Stérimar Baby?
I liked the concept of it being natural and the design of the packaging. I also like that the product was contained in a can and therefore couldn't be contaminated. I didn't like that you have to wash and dry the nozzle between uses - not practical!

-How easy was it to administer the product?
The first nostril was easy as anything. Unfortunately this sent my little one on an unconteable crying fit and I couldn't administer into the other nostril. I tried this product again once more a few days later and it triggered the same reaction so I threw it in the bin!

-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier?
Not effective at all - it made my baby extremely unhappy and I hope no other babies had the same reaction.

Meinthecorner · 03/11/2016 21:29

How old: approx 10 weeks
First impressions: good packaging. Slightly odd that French is as prominent as English. Similar to the adult version but wouldn't get them muddled up.
How easy to administer: procedure was straightforward but DD moved head around so tried to do it quickly.
How soon: snot cleared immediately and helped her breathing

-What were your first impressions of Stérimar Baby?
The product looked a bit scary but the packaging reassured me it would be a natural and gentle way to relieve a stuffy nose.

-How easy was it to administer the product?
Easy to use from the fist go, but once my baby knew what was coming it was hard to pin him down!

-How old is the child that you tested Stérimar Baby with? she is 11 weeks old
-What were your first impressions of Stérimar Baby? like the packaging, looks like an all natural product which is preferable, especially considering my baby is only small.
-How easy was it to administer the product? Shape of product made for easy administration, there was a good spray action which made it very effective.
-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier? Baby has had her first really bad cold and has been very sniffly, off her feeds and struggling a bit. Upon using the sterimar spray,, within a minute she had brought up some of the phlegm that was causing her a problem and was able to then take her feed with ease. Definitely a good product to use, especially on small babies.

-How old is the child that you tested Stérimar Baby with?
-What were your first impressions of Stérimar Baby?
I use Stérimar kids already. I didn't notice, other than a slight design change on the tin, any difference between the two. It's a decent sized tin so holds a reasonable amount, should last pretty well.
-How easy was it to administer the product?
You do have to push the nozzle in just the right place. My kids are pretty good at getting medicine but if they're not in the right mood, it's as likely to go in their eye as up their nose!
-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier?
If used periodically and regularly, I'd say the effects are more or less immediate.

Shortfatandangry · 03/11/2016 21:49

Sorry, DD is 14mo

-How easy was it to administer the product? Relatively easy, my ds hates using these and will resist any attempt to have me spray it up his nose but the nozzle did make it slightly easier.
-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier. Almost immediately. Ds went back to sleep afterwards much clearer than before.

-How old is the child that you tested Stérimar Baby with?
18mths and 3 years and my 10 year old daughter.

-What were your first impressions of Stérimar Baby?
The nozzle was a bit scary, i liked the size of the product its easy to take out and about.

-How easy was it to administer the product?
I found it hard i struggled with it if im honest i much prefer my usual saline spray. I didnt like the spray it seemed far too much for a small child and it went all over when they moved their heads. It was good its long so you dont have to get right up their noses but i found it awkward and difficult to spray.
It was much easier to use on my 10 year old than the toddlers.

-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier?
More or less immediately. It does work i just find it far too fiddly.

sealtears · 03/11/2016 22:12

Baby age? 13 months

First impressions? Attractive packaging, large container. Liked that it's 100% natural.

Easy to administer? Applicator is long which means it's easy to place in babies nose without getting too close. Was initially worried the spray might be too forceful but its was quite gentle. It's also quick.

Notice a change? DD seemed to breathe easier after a couple of minutes which enabled her to breastfeed comfortably.

-How old is the child that you tested Stérimar Baby with?
My son is just over two years old.
-What were your first impressions of Stérimar Baby?
Simple design and ergonomic
-How easy was it to administer the product?
It would be if my son sat still enough for it. I imagine it would be fairly straight forward on a cooperative child!
-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier?
Fairly quickly

-How easy was it to administer the product? Difficult. The nozzle was hard to get into a 10 month olds nostril who definitely did not want it up there!!
-How soon, if at all, after using the product did you notice that your child could breathe easier? I didn't think it was as good as other nasal sprays for clearing her nose unfortunately.
