Back to the test, the team at Kobold say “compact, unbeatably handy and extremely powerful, the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner is the ideal addition to your household, making life easier and cleaner.
Designed by global German household appliance manufacturer Vorwerk, the Kobold VK200, in combination with two different attachments, takes care of all your floor cleaning needs. Whether it’s carpets or hard floors – the VK200 Homecare System has it covered.
The unique SP530 DuoClean head allows you to mop and vacuum at the same time – a world first! It uses just 100ml of water to cover up to 20 m² of hard floor. And the best part? Simply remove the cleaning cloths when you’ve finished and pop them in the washing machine ready for next time.

ive a stair lift due to mobility issues, so the stairs are a nightmare, the hoover is quite heavy and very awkward to vac them ,,, usually i have to ask my husband, which can then take days of nagging before it gets done..
this handheld could be the item to solve all the ptoblems i have and take away the need to wait for days and nag hubby just to get a cleaned staircase.

sianihedgehog · 08/11/2016 15:01

I hate doing the stairs and the WC. It's almost impossible to get into all the corners in a tiny room like the WC!

littlemouse15 · 08/11/2016 15:02

I hate hoovering the stairs, my hoover is too bulky and it dosnet get right into the corners

LynnGay159 · 08/11/2016 15:03

Non tester...
My least favourite is the stairs I have to do half from the upstairs whilst trying not to let the vacuum cleaner fall down then I have to unplug and cart it downstairs and do the bottom half .

BeautifulRedBoots · 08/11/2016 15:11

My least favourite room to vacuum is the living room.
The combination of multiple cables snaking all over the place to xbox, pc, phone...; all my craft stuff which always spreads itself out; and the detritus my teenage son manages to leave everywhere, means that I get exhausted navigating my way around the room!

Least favourite place is my teenage daughters bedroom specially under her bed , yikes 😳😳😳😳😳

Kr1stina · 08/11/2016 15:16

Another vote for the worst place to vacccum being the car. I've resorted to paying my kids to do it.

horseylady · 08/11/2016 15:17

Least favourite place to vaccum is the hall, stairs and landing as there's many corners and crevices!! Sadly there's also a lot of footfall so it's one of the most regular places to need vaccuming!

Dexterjamesmummy · 08/11/2016 15:20

I hate vacuuming our utility room, the work surface is too deep for me to reach the windows and it's full of cobwebs because I'm too lazy to get a chair 😳

MadameJosephine · 08/11/2016 15:20

I hate vacuuming the stairs. Who's stupid idea was it to buy a 3 storey house! Angry

19sharon · 08/11/2016 16:02

The only room I'd prefer not to vacuum is my daughters bedroom. It's like continually having to clean up after a party I wasn't invited to. I'm pretty sure when she cleans she only makes a path from her door to her bed. Then I attack, dodging hair grips, make up, fake tan and baby wipes. The room really should come with its own hazard warning lights. When it's finished I usually enjoy those 17 seconds before she comes back in and uses the "floordrobe" all over again - in fact I might even buy her a sat nav for Xmas so she can actually find the washing machine.

Chipsandfish · 08/11/2016 16:10

My least favourite room to vacuum is the kitchen/dining room. It doesn't pick up much upright on that floor so I have to use the hose to do most of it.

labradottie · 08/11/2016 16:15

Non-tester - I hate vacuuming the stairs. No matter how long the cable and how stretchy the hose there always seems to be a section impossible to reach safely.

I also hate vacuuming the car - so many nooks and crannies that the nozzle won't reach that it never feels that Idoa satisfactory job of it.

Eyre89 · 08/11/2016 16:19

non tester

ould have to be the stairs for how awkward they are or my bedroom as the cat sleeps in there and I have no idea what she does to the carpet but it looks furry every morning and is a nightmare to do.

Ribc · 08/11/2016 16:23

Non-tester - The stairs definitely - having two children shedding tiny pieces of lego wherever they go, a husband who seems to scatter detritus from his pockets constantly and a couple of dogs, it constantly needs vacuuming, the hoover is always threatening to topple over and take me with it and hence it doesn't get done very often.....

annieno1 · 08/11/2016 16:26

My least favourite place to vacuum is the stairs hate pulling the hoover up them, with my little ones tripping over the lead.. a handheld vacuum would be super for me to use on the stairs

Toomanycats99 · 08/11/2016 16:30

loft room as I have to draft the hoover up two sets of newly decorated stairs!

Eva50 · 08/11/2016 16:38

My least favourite place to vacuum is the kitchen. There are so many nooks and crannies that are difficult for everything to get into except dog hairs!

MakeTeaNotWar · 08/11/2016 16:45

Non-tester - I hate doing the kitchen as it's full of crumbs and debris from the soles of shoes plus I have to pull out the tables and chairs. Too many nooks and crannies!

WeeMadArthur · 08/11/2016 17:14

The worst room to hoover is DSs playroom. The combination of large trucks, dinosaurs, Lego, teeny Playmobil daggers/coins plus hidden sweet wrappers, stomped in biscuit crumbs tangling with drifted tumbleweed of Labrador hair means that it's the room I am least willing to tackle and most likely to close the door on.

ButtonMoonLoon · 08/11/2016 17:20

My least favourite place to vacuum has to be my daughter's bedroom. There's countless teeny weeny bits of toys to be cleared away first, along with bits of glitter and sparkly stuff from her craft box. Picking all the bits up takes far longer than the vacuuming, and there's that inevitable 'crunch' noise every once in a while when a bit of a toy is found!

viques · 08/11/2016 17:21

Worst place to vac is the stairs, either I use the big vac and heave it up risking life and limb or I use the small cheapy hand held which is a bit rubbish and doesn't do a good job. What I really need is a brilliant hand held!!!

LivinOnAChair · 08/11/2016 17:39

The stairs, God I hate the stairs! We've got 30 of them and live in a three storey town house. They're narrow and at funny, jutty angles and i can't stand doing them. Also kitchen and car as they both get full of dog hair 😩

rachieroomumoftwo · 08/11/2016 17:51

Least favourite room is the hallway/stairs as I have a heavy henry hoover and its hard work lugging the Henry about

bertdynamite · 08/11/2016 17:57

Same as lots of other people - the stairs. It just seems such a mammoth task when the hoover is so heavy.
