Mumsnetters needed to try the AEG L89499FL washing machine - worth £629! NOW CLOSED

AEG are looking for 15 Mumsnetters to test out their L89499FL washing machine.

Here’s what AEG say: ‘It’s time to care more for the garments that mean something to us. AEG washing machines are the best way to keep your clothes feeling like new. Even those one-of-a-kind pieces that are more than just a fabric. Our washing machines provide incredible gentleness and superb washing results using the least energy’

If selected, you will be sent the AEG L89499FL (RRP £629) in mid September, and asked to try it for two weeks. You will then need to try it and add feedback to a thread on Mumsnet. At the end of the testing period, we'd also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet review pages. In order to keep the product, you would need to add your feedback by the 10th October, so please only apply if you are able to do this.

Please note that you will need to arrange your own installation of the machine and disposal of your old machine. Please also visit the product page here to check that the machine is the correct size for your home.

Can't believe I'm all excited at doing the washing

Oh great stuff my dryers packed in great timing or what so dryer shopping tomorrow washer can wait lol X

My washer died the day after I applied for this, I think I jinxed it :(

I've still got a whole load of rugby strips to wash. Should be done at 30C to protect the numbers but my washing machine only goes down to 40C

So excited for my new washing machine, it's being delivered on Wednesday

Mine's being delivered today (setting up delivery has been a bit of a hassle, but I am really, really aware that it is not reasonable to be grumpy about that!). Excited to put a wash on

Mine arrived at 6.50am! Can't believe how big the drum is

I haven't had any information about delivery yet MNHQ!!

Ooh it's coming next week! Very excited will have tons of washing to do by then.

I've tried 4 different programmes already! Am super happy. Though less so with the delivery men who told me 'you just need to put your washing in now' but hadn't turned the water back on and hadn't tightened the clips on the outlet pipe enough so I had a kitchen flood

ooh, I'm super excited. Mine is due to be delivered tomorrow and I was advised that we'd get a text the night before confirming if it was a morning or an afternoon delivery slot. Did you get confirmation of delivery time the evening before?

I had a text message the night before saying between 7-9 then a phone call when they were 10 mins away.

Cool, I'm assuming then that if I don't receive a text message tonight or early morning that it won't be delivered tomorrow or until later in the day. I may be able to sneak to work in the morning then.

Mine is due tomorrow but no text yet! Fingers crossed for the afternoon as would suit better

My text came at 7am on the delivery day and then the driver called during the morning to confirm.

Waiting with bated breath and a big pile of washing for mine to arrive!

I had a text message from the delivery chaps at 7am, and they called when they were an hour away. Old machine disconnected and shoved out of the way and new machine installed and put on a very quick test cycle before they left. All absolutely brilliant! (Can you tell that I'm stupidly excited about this?!)

Email definitely said Wed 21st. No text, no contact. I'm at work tomorrow (actually I was today but neighbour was in)

No, I've still not had mine. running out of clean knickers!

CMOTD the delivery guys did the same here. Took me ages to figure out they hadn't turned the water back on they also scratched the front of the machine.
