Want to test LloydsPharmacy Solero sun cream? £300 voucher to be won! NOW CLOSED

LloydsPharmacy have asked us to find 250 MNers with a child aged 2-10 to test out their Solero range of sun cream.

Here’s what LloydsPharmacy have to say: “April 2016 sees the launch of our reformulated and re-packaged own brand of suncare range, Solero. We understand that our customers’ skin is as unique as they are, which is why we have introduced a range of suncream that is perfect for every type of skin – an ultra-sensitive range for skin prone to eczema (atopic dermatitis) and psoriasis, which has been dermatologically tested and approved, and a triple defence range that protects from 3 types of harmful rays, UV-A, UV-B and Infrared-A”

Selected testers will be sent two products to test – one from the kids range, and one from either the ultra-sensitive or the triple defence IRA range.

If selected, you’ll be sent a 50ml size of each product and will need to test the product on both you and your child, and then leave feedback on a feedback thread as well as completing a survey about your experience with the product.

Selected testers who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher.

If you’d like to take part then please enter your details here.

Thanks,

MNHQ

Done! My 2yr olds playgroup has just asked for some to be sent in, I only bought 1 as its quite expensive so I need another for home now! He also has eczema so the sensitive one will be good to try as I was a bit worried about which one to get. Fingers crossed!

Fleur78 · 13/05/2016 12:11

Always coating my kids in sun cream they really find it annoying but their skin is so precious and so aware of skin cancer.

StickTheDMWhereTheSunDontShine · 13/05/2016 12:23

Another one here with very fair skin and dark hair!

JustineBMumsnet · 13/05/2016 12:32

Thanks to those of you who have signed up already! Apologies that some of you have had problems choosing your skin tone. If you cannot find an option that matches exactly, we would recommend choosing the one that you feel best describes you. We're using this question to ensure that there's a group of testers with a mix of skin tones. If you have any questions, contact [email protected] Smile

Doubtfuldaphne · 13/05/2016 17:23

Glad i'm not the only one stuck here - very dark hair but the palest skin in the world!

nikkijp83 · 13/05/2016 18:09

All done Smile Thank you xx

LifeIsGoodish · 13/05/2016 19:30

Why isn't there an "anything else we need to know" box?

I would have mentioned that I hoped there was a fragrance-free sunscreen to try. Not much point if they select me and send me a fragranced one!

Getzbaby · 13/05/2016 20:53

Would love to test. My daughter has very dry skin.

MiamiNaice · 13/05/2016 20:59

Done

gallicgirl · 13/05/2016 22:58

Done
Would be interested to know what makes the kid cream different. You'd think that would be ultra sensitive too.
Do you know what SPF will be available to test?

luanda111 · 14/05/2016 00:39

Thanks for the chance. We tan quite good, but everybody needs sun protection.

ohhhmylegs · 14/05/2016 04:52

Done! DD has eczema. So hard to find a cream that doesn't nip, sting and make her cry!

Spirael · 14/05/2016 14:24

Another one with green/hazel eyes, very fair skin and dark hair! Plus freckles as well.

There was no chance to leave comments, but it would be interesting to test as skin allergies to sun cream mean I have to buy a different brand for each family member! One that would work for all of us would be a holy grail.

piggypoo · 14/05/2016 17:51

Done! Thank you!

Megansmumsie · 15/05/2016 01:35

Put my name in the hat so to speak.

My daughter has pale skin, blue eyes and blonde hair. I'm the same but i suffer from rosacea. We both have sensitive skin.

We currently home school so she's in and out of the garden at break and lunch times so we're in the sun a fair amount (as much as we get in the UK but the sun doesn't have to be visible to damage your skin).

pinkspideruk · 15/05/2016 16:42

done but none of the descriptions match e lol what about a morticia look -a - like one? pale skin very dark hair and eyes!

sfancy · 15/05/2016 20:43

Done! Kids have mild eczema so this sounds great!

Thistly · 15/05/2016 23:54

I would really like to test this on my other daughter who is over 10 as well. She has to have prescribed suncream as she reacts to every other type we have tried.

nerysw · 16/05/2016 06:19

Done, found it difficult to find the right category for me as I have pale skin and dark hair. I have psoriasis so would be really interested to give the product a try.

IonaAilidh11 · 16/05/2016 07:05
