LloydsPharmacy have asked us to find 250 MNers with a child aged 2-10 to test out their Solero range of sun cream.

Here’s what LloydsPharmacy have to say: “April 2016 sees the launch of our reformulated and re-packaged own brand of suncare range, Solero. We understand that our customers’ skin is as unique as they are, which is why we have introduced a range of suncream that is perfect for every type of skin – an ultra-sensitive range for skin prone to eczema (atopic dermatitis) and psoriasis, which has been dermatologically tested and approved, and a triple defence range that protects from 3 types of harmful rays, UV-A, UV-B and Infrared-A”

Selected testers will be sent two products to test – one from the kids range, and one from either the ultra-sensitive or the triple defence IRA range.

If selected, you’ll be sent a 50ml size of each product and will need to test the product on both you and your child, and then leave feedback on a feedback thread as well as completing a survey about your experience with the product.

Selected testers who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher.

If you’d like to take part then please enter your details here.

Thanks,

MNHQ

Done!, this would be great as we are running low on sun cream. Fingers crossed :)

pud1 · 12/05/2016 20:06

Done.

WineOrSleep · 13/05/2016 09:36

Brilliant product to test, would be great!

afromom · 13/05/2016 09:49

Done! This would be great. DS has dark skin and whilst I put sun cream on for protection, his skin doesn't burn. DSD however has very sensitive pale skin and I am quickly learning about the need for regular application of sun cream. If there is one that doesn't irritate her skin I would be really pleased to find it!

bigboypants · 13/05/2016 09:53

Done but none of the descriptions really apply to me. Green eyes, very fair skin and dark hair. Confused

NaraDeer · 13/05/2016 09:53

Done. I really struggle to find sun team that doesn't flare up DD's eczema so fingers crossed.

DivaDroid · 13/05/2016 10:11

Done - but no descriptions for me or DS. We both have pale skin, but dark eyes & hair.Confused

Lunar1 · 13/05/2016 10:19

Done but I have very fair skin green eyes, dark brown hair and freckles!

BathshebaDarkstone · 13/05/2016 10:22

Done. DS had a reaction to Sainsbury's sun cream, I've only dared to buy Nivea since, we have a Lloyd's Pharmacy near us, so this would be a great product test.

WhiffyBiffer · 13/05/2016 10:25

Why have they called it Solero? Surely that's a very delicious type of ice cream/ice lolly.

SmileyShazza · 13/05/2016 10:55

This would be great as I'm looking for some new sun protection products for both DS and DD as well as hubby and I.

The fact these products protect from three types of rays is very appealing and makes me want to try it out.

GreatBritishBakeOff · 13/05/2016 10:56

Done!

CommanderShepard · 13/05/2016 10:57

I have very pale skin and freckles but am brunette - do I not exist?!

TrixieBernadette · 13/05/2016 10:59

Can you confirm mine went through? I filled in, hit submit and it sent me back to a blank form?

averythinline · 13/05/2016 11:03

Also very fair skin and dark hair here...have said we're blond as def not darker skin - hope we don't get disqualified!

PiaMaria79 · 13/05/2016 11:10

Applied, would love to try this with our 2, 4 and 5 year olds, we're all very blonde, blue eyed pale skins ;) our eldest spent the day yesterday at Windsor castle with his class and even though I smeared him with protection before they went he still came home with a red nose bless him x

I have fair skin green eyes but dark hair? Hmm mn I think the questions need to be redone

I have applied though fx

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 13/05/2016 11:15

I have very pale skin and freckles on my face (blue eyes, naturally dirty blonde- last i saw), but my body is mediterrean/olive and though it starts pale it tans very easily and never burns. I definitely wasnt on the list Grin

Plus, neither i nor the DCs can use high factor sun cream at all, it all brings out a rash. Low factor is fine, so we have to reapply a lot. So very keen to try a super duper sensitive brand.

dataandspot · 13/05/2016 11:23

Would love to try this-signed up.

lovemycrazykids · 13/05/2016 11:25

yes, descriptions not matching us either! Kids olive skin, one dark hair one fair hair with green eyes!
as BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts states my youngest gets a heat rash when using the heavier high factors.

thestylethatdecadesforgot · 13/05/2016 11:44

Done but couldn't find a description for me, dark hair green eyes and skin of a deathly pale tone! Kids ok though which is probably the main thing as its for them!

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 13/05/2016 11:46

Done.

I'm very fair and never tan, I have two blond freckly boys and one olive skinned one! Also have a bald husband who seems to rather burn than put cream on.....

ilovesprouts · 13/05/2016 11:47

Done ds has pale skin red hair and freckles

foxessocks · 13/05/2016 11:52

done!

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 13/05/2016 11:57

Love, do you get comments from sales people when you buy low factors, like "oo, youre so pale, you a need much higher factor than that"? With the judgey look... Hmm
