Cadbury have asked us to find Mumsnetters to be on their panel to take part in various pieces of activity in the next year.

Panel members will have the opportunity to take part in various pieces of activity, which could be everything for product tests to surveys to focus groups – all of which will be incentivised of course!

Everyone who has at least one child age 12 or under is welcome to join.

If you’re interested then please sign up here.

Thanks

Are we doing anything on this panel?

MummyBtothree · 16/12/2015 12:23

I was expecting to be accepted for the cadbury chocolate bauble trial with getting accepted onto this panel but didnt. I would have thought the two went together?

HaPPy8 · 16/12/2015 16:06

Are we going to be doing anything on this panel Mumsnet? Its been ages since we signed up!

Havetohaveanewchufffingaccount · 17/12/2015 02:31

I too was not accepted on the Cadbury product trial so am disappointed mummy b.

HeadfirstForHalos · 17/12/2015 11:20

On the other Cadbury testing thread Angelie had posting that the panel testing is a separate thing, and a pandering test is being organised for January Smile

HeadfirstForHalos · 17/12/2015 11:21

Angelie has posted, and it's panel test not a pandering test Grin

AngelieMumsnet · 17/12/2015 12:26

Hi all - just to confirm what HeadfirstForHalos said, we will hopefully be sending details over for the exclusive panel product test soon :)

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Chocolate

MummyBtothree · 17/12/2015 14:53

Sounds like the perfect excuse not to go on a diet after Christmas to me! GrinGrin

Fillybuster · 18/12/2015 17:40

Yay...been looking forward to this :)

CharleyDavidson · 18/12/2015 20:57

I flipping hope so, Angelie, especially as there have been other product tests for Cadburys that haven't been offered our way, like the baubles etc. I thought that was the whole point of the panel.

CharleyDavidson · 18/12/2015 21:01

3 months between signing up and being offered the first trial. That must be a record.

MummyBtothree · 27/12/2015 09:29

CharleyDavidson I agree, it seems rather bizarre to me.Hmm

MeDented · 27/12/2015 09:31

I had all but given up on this ever happening!!!

trinitybleu · 27/12/2015 09:40

DD had definitely given up!

CharleyDavidson · 27/12/2015 19:58

I wonder if it's an issue in interpreting the initial wording. They say that we are invited to take part in different things 'in the next year'.

I interpreted that as the year following signing up and being accepted.

Perhaps it meant in 2016 as 'the next year'.

MummyBtothree · 28/12/2015 14:25

I do hope anything we get to do involves actually getting to taste something! Chocolate

BeeMyBaby · 16/01/2016 12:43

So it's been a month since the last update... I'm hoping if we are product testing we will receive it before lent for those of us who give up chocolate during this period....

floooOoooatyfloooOooo · 16/01/2016 13:13

Gosh I forgot all about this!

MummyBtothree · 18/01/2016 18:44

I don't really get why they recruited for this panel so far in advance....hope its going to be worth the wait Hmm

Fillybuster · 20/01/2016 12:55

I feel bad for grumbling but did anyone else feel a bit Hmm about being asked to sign up to participate a Cadburys trial today? I've filled in the form but actually quite irritated - we've spent 4 months "on a panel" waiting, were promised a trial in the new year and now we get invited to apply for something.....really??? This is what we've waited for?! The opportunity to maybe get selected.....?!!!

MummyBtothree · 20/01/2016 14:07

Fillybuster - I was relived to read your comment because I feel exactly the same! You would assume that everyone that was accepted onto the panel would get the opportunity to take part in this trial. Quite unfair I think Confused

BeeMyBaby · 20/01/2016 15:19

I presume it was because you have to make a cake rather than simply just eat the product and some people on the panel may not have time to do this, and since if you don't bake but take the product you will be excluded from all future panels they really did have to make people apply again although I'd assume basically anyone who applies will be selected.

AugustRose · 20/01/2016 15:48

I did feel a bit like that too as I had assumed that signing up to, and being accepted for the panel meant we would all be involved in the same trials. Also I have a grumble about the prize being in London :( I live in the North West so not easy to get to if I one the prize.
