LG is delighted to invite 25 Mumsnetters to try out the new LG KizON with their DCs.

Here’s what LG say, “We would be delighted to have you test our latest wearable device, the LG KizON, designed for children and made for parents. The LG KizON is a wearable designed exclusively for pre-school and primary school children that gives you a simple and convenient way to communicate with your youngsters.

The LG KizON has been designed specifically for children to wear on their wrists to be used as a direct communication device with their parents and guardians. Sharing information and call access with a limited number of adults - approved by you - the LG KizON offers ease of mind by delivering real-time information of a wearer’s location and giving your children the ability to securely communicate with you via just a press of a button.

With its GPS capability, durable child-friendly design, easy-to-use functionality and a long lasting battery, the LG KizON offers an unobtrusive and secure way for your family to check in on your child’s location, call them back home for dinner or even just call to say hello, giving you peace of mind and giving them greater freedom and independence while they play.

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters with at least one child age 3-9 and has an Android phone with the software Jellybean 4.1 or above. Everyone who is selected to take part will receive a free LG KizON, supplied with phone credit to last the duration of the three and a half week trial period lasting 25th March – 13th April . To get started, testers will just need to download the LG KizON app from the Google Play Store in order to register themselves with their child’s device.

Upon receiving the device, testers will be provided with clear set up instructions, a guide on how to get the most from the product and have access to product experts should they have any further questions. Testers will be required to post their feedback via the trial survey by 10th April and then directly on a Mumsnet feedback thread by 13th April. Testers will be welcome to keep their LG KizON as a thank you for taking the time to share their invaluable feedback.

If you’re interested in trying the latest in children’s technology with the LG KizON, please sign up here. Entrants must apply by 5pm Tuesday 24th March and testers will be contacted on Wednesday 25th March.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

thewomaninwhitefluffybunnyears · 02/04/2015 21:59

MummyBtothree · 02/04/2015 22:09

Ive just googled it for more info and cant find much at all, think we are proper guinea pigs this time! woohoo Grin

thewomaninwhitefluffybunnyears · 02/04/2015 22:11

I did the same and found nothing either. Intriguing. I am hoping that it arrives on Sat :)

MummyBtothree · 02/04/2015 22:24

Cant believe I got chosen! didn't think I had a cat in hells chance with this as it must have had loads of interest.

FanFuckingTastic · 02/04/2015 22:24

Wooooooo! Thank you Mumsnet. And LG. That's cheered me right up. Grin

Moogdroog · 03/04/2015 10:37

Yey! I'm in Smile

PeopleOnTheEdgeOfTheNight · 03/04/2015 20:16

Mine arrived today, thorough royal mail.

MummyBtothree · 03/04/2015 20:47

Oooh hope mine comes tomorrow so I can have a play Grin Grin Grin

thewomaninwhitefluffybunnyears · 04/04/2015 10:07

Mine is here and charging :)

mrstiggy · 04/04/2015 10:40

Mines here! It looks great. Dd has already put it on and used it to sing 'let it go' at me.

I'm hoping it works out to be more useful than that in the long run. Grin We have lots of days out planned over the next four days and it's a standing joke that DD tries to get lost at some point during a day out, so if it keeps dolly daydream still with us by Wednesday then it's a winner!

GiraffeAHolic · 04/04/2015 11:01

Mine's here, very exciting Grin. Struggling to connect it to the app though, think it might be an 02 signal issue.

MummyBtothree · 04/04/2015 11:10

Im waiting for the postie to arrive with mine. Im more excited than the dc are about their easter eggs Grin

Moogdroog · 04/04/2015 11:16

Ours has arrived! DS is very chuffed with it, DD is mighty envious. I have had several phone calls from upstairs from it, so ca confirm it works.

Plus, it's the nicest packaged product trial I've ever received sucker for a box and tissue paper, me Grin

thewomaninwhitefluffybunnyears · 04/04/2015 11:22

Moondrog, I loved the box too. Glad I was not the only one :)

mrstiggy · 04/04/2015 11:47

Yes I was like opening a present wasn't it! Really well packaged.

HappySunflower · 04/04/2015 12:03

Does anyone know how much credit we have on them?

MummyBtothree · 04/04/2015 12:07

HappySunflower I was just gonna ask the same. How much credit is on them and how much they use. Mines arrived and charging! yay!

thewomaninwhitefluffybunnyears · 04/04/2015 12:59

No, I would like to know re credit too. I can't find the IMEI number to link up the app. I am being dim clearly.

HappySunflower · 04/04/2015 13:28

The IMEI number is on the box.
Include the number after the last dash as one of the last six digits
