F&F has asked us to find 100 MNers to test out their F&F schoolwear range with their DC and provide feedback.

Here's what F&F say about their range, "Every year we work tirelessly to improve on our schoolwear range, to ensure you get even better value for money and higher quality compared to the previous year. To enable us to do this we rely heavily on the feedback from all of you - the mums! This year, we have some new key features that we’re really excited to share with you and look forward to hearing your thoughts ”.

We're looking for English and Welsh Mumsnetters, who have at least one child of school age who wears school uniform, to put the range to the test before the new term starts. If you are selected, you will be sent £50 worth of Tesco online vouchers*. We'd like you to use this to buy items, including a few specific items which testers will be sent a list of, from the F&F back to school range.

Delivery charges aren't included in the e-coupons, however there is the option to 'Click + Collect' which delivers your order to your nearby Tesco, free of charge, by the next day if you place your order by 3pm. We are aware that the summer holidays are fast approaching so we're looking for Mumsnetters who are available to carry out this product test as soon as possible.

Once you have had a chance to purchase a few items and kit your DCs out in a new uniform we'll ask you to get your LOs to put it through its paces and for you to give it a couple of washes before adding your feedback to a thread on MN.

If you're interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

NB: You will receive 1x£50 vouchers, to redeem the voucher you will need to spend the full value, or more.

Thank you!! I've just put my order in. I will be interested to see what the shoes are like, specifically how much support they offer - it'll be the first time I've defected from Clarks!

misstiredbuthappy · 09/07/2014 13:13

How do you know if you are going to get a code ?

lucjam · 09/07/2014 13:17

Yay thanks, have ordered and included the scuff resistant shoes for DS. Picking up from the store as soon as they tell me it's on it's way. Thanks Mumsnet HQ, DS really needed shoes but didn't want to buy any before the end of term so this has been a life saver!

Fairylea · 09/07/2014 13:28

I got picked! :) :) thank you SO much. Dd desperately needed some new school shoes so I am super excited to get the chance to test some. Have ordered two pairs to give her a choice and some other bits and bobs including a sweatshirt for sports as she ruins hers (very sporty- head captain of school sports). Thanks so much. Looking forward to feedback - ing!

Raahh · 09/07/2014 13:32

I have been picked, but although I've been asked to test pinafores, there is very low stock.

The shoes look good though- looking forward to seeing how they last.

CheeryName · 09/07/2014 13:34

I didn't apply as I did this last year and so it wouldn't be fair to get two lots. But I thought it was pretty good at the time and can report that after a year's use, the boys shorts and trousers are still looking great.

poppy1973 · 09/07/2014 13:39

Thanks Mumsnet, I got my voucher via email today and have ordered my school items for my children. Made sure I ordered the pinafore and the scuff resistant shoes for my daughter. I am really interested in trying the shoes for her.

Raahh · 09/07/2014 14:14

Right- I've had a good look now and tried to order, but none of the pinafores are currently available in my daughter's size? Not sure what I am supposed to do now, as I imagine the voucher is a one use only one?
Does anyone know?

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 09/07/2014 14:28

Thanks for this it is really helpful!

Raahh I have reply to MN email with a question and they have answered quickly.
I would guess you shop as best as you can!

excitedicecream · 09/07/2014 15:00

Voucher can be used for a while - all ordered and very excited :)

idleweiss · 09/07/2014 15:15

Oh gutted! No voucher for us! :(

TheWoollybacksWife · 09/07/2014 16:08

Thank you! I have received my voucher and have ordered some uniform to collect tomorrow.

TulipOHare · 09/07/2014 16:21

Fabulous, I have ordered too. Ordered the scuff-resist shoes for both DC but no pinafores left in DD's size Confused so obviously could not order that. Got trousers, skirts and polos too.

goldface · 09/07/2014 16:59

thank you, have ordered and after a hideously expensive early July I am very grateful!

Rainicorn · 09/07/2014 17:56

Thank you for picking me. I've ordered all three of my boys a pair of scuff proof shoes, will see how we get on as usually I pay £50 a pair, but have paid £50 for three pairs.

insanityscratching · 09/07/2014 18:02

Thank you have ordered, looking forward to dd no longer looking like nobody owns her as her trousers are currently half mast and her shirts are well worn. I suspect I might need to swap the shoes once she has tried them on but I'll take her with me to collect and we can do that in store at the same time.

Shouldwego · 09/07/2014 18:39

Yey!, have ordered. Thank you!

DS wasn't keen on the available shoes but included a pair anyway, hope I'll get him to wear them!
Lots of polo shirts and trousers bought. DS would not have wanted a pinafore Grin

MimsyBorogroves · 09/07/2014 19:44

Thank you so much MN and F&F - we have ordered shoes, polo shirts and oodles of PE kit as I've just realised DS is in stuff that's 18 months too small for him bad mother

We avoided the pinafore. As much as DS likes dresses, I fear school may frown. Especially even if I mention mumsnet.

Itsahen · 09/07/2014 19:59

Ordered to collect tomorrow. I didn't get pinafores as sadly my DD will not wear them - I have this years unworn ones still. I got scuff resistant leather shoes for DS but had to get a size bigger and hope he grows into them as they didn't have his size. DD will no have hearts or bows, so that ruled out girls shoes, plus the options available were not leather which I go for with school shoes as they stretch and breathe.
...but I got a variety of culottes, girls trouser, polo shirts and sweatshirts plus pale grey trousers for DS (a lot of them were too dark in colour also). Look forward to comparing them with last years Asda and M&S stuff !

Tealady1983 · 09/07/2014 20:39

Thankyou I received my voucher today snd have ordered to collect tomorrow. I also have never had any other shoes than clarks/startrite fort ds so will be good to try some different ones. Grin

dottyaboutstripes · 09/07/2014 21:00

This is a godsend for me as we are moving and I have 4 new sets of uniforms to buy, so THANK YOU! Not too sure about shoes from a supermarket as I'm a StartRite aficionado but we shall give it a go!

Itsahen · 09/07/2014 21:05

The size guide doesn't say what the length difference between short and long versions of the trousers is - will just have to wait and see if we need a bigger size or need to grow in to !

thepuddingchef · 09/07/2014 21:15

Thank you so much for my voucher code! I have ordered some boys trousers, jogging bottoms, girls pinafore, skirts and trousers. I have to say I was a little disappointed that I wanted to order more pinafores, but they only had one design in the size I needed, and this was the case for boys trousers, very limited choice Sad
I bought George at Asda last time so I am very interested to see the quality.

androbbob · 09/07/2014 22:29

Ordered some stuff here - thanks! Got shoes and polo shirts and shirts for DS and some shirts for DD who is at secondary school. Disappointed that no grey school shorts available and our school jumpers are burgundy, which I can only get at M&S - F&F take note - even George started doing burgundy!!

Shoes are a nightmare with a sporty DS who plays football at any chance. Interested to see how a £11 pair of shoes compare to the £42 last pair from Clarks. 4 pairs of shoes this year for him ggrrrr

Itsahen · 09/07/2014 22:53

Oh yes I wanted boys (or girls) grey shorts but there was non available
