The inventive new design makes it easy to clean surfaces and kill bacteria; simply push down on the pump to apply the formula onto a cleaning material such as a paper towel, cleaning cloth or sponge. Then, just wipe the surface clean."

The cleaner worked well and smelled nicely of oranges.

There are some inaccessible places where a spray works better, such as behind the back of the taps.

It made my Sainsbo paper towel disintegrate.

I'm not sure about the name of it ... touch-up cleaner?

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy to use, I did squirt the wall a couple of times at first - now I make sure the top is completely covered with the cloth.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Really effective - one squirt used regularly on the loo seat in particular means it always stays fresh.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Yes - I keep it out in the loo so I think to use it more often.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

Yes, a fair price and lots of offers on at the moment too.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I think this seems sufficient.

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Ease of use, really nice mild smell, unobtrusive bottle to have out on show.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes definitely. Thanks for letting me be a tester :-)

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
I found it really easy to use, just unlock and push. Nothing to it.
  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I mostly used it for wiping up tea stains and it worked really well on those, although larger stains took more rubbing to get off.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I use it more often as I just use it whenever I notice any marks in my counter tops, whereas I only give my whole counters a wipe down once a day.
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
I think I would be more likely to buy the bathroom version as that's the area a touch up cleaner would be helpful for me rather than a kitchen cleaner. I think if the kitchen one was on offer I might buy it again.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
I would use a touch up for glass or mirrors as I'm constantly wiping little fingerprints off everything. I may also buy a easy to use fabric and carpet touch up cleaner if one was available.
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I liked the appearance and how it didn't make it look like I'd just not cleaned up when left on the counter waiting to use.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
I would mention it in conversation if cleaning products came up because it is a useful product to have in the house, and it worked well for what I needed it for.

My tester never arrived so I went out and bought the cleaner, as it was on offer I got one of each to try.

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy, I actually much prefer the pump to spray bottles, especially in the kitchen as I always disliked sprays as it goes everywhere and the last thing you want is cleaning products sprayed all over in a room where food is.

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I love the kitchen one, it is brilliant at cleaning up greasiness.
The bathroom one made my taps and surprisingly even the mirrors sparkle.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I designated a cloth to each cleaner which I kept next to them, because it is so quick and easy to use I have found myself using it to do a quick wipe around very often in both the bathroom and the kitchen.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

I have been using the cleaners quite a lot and they are still quite full, I paid £1.50 each for them but if they last as long as I suspect the will I think £2.99 is a good price and I will happily pay it.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

If there was a general antibacterial cleaner, that could be used in baby/children's areas, tables etc, I would purchase it too.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

It is so easy to use. I live the smells of both products and the design means I can keep it next to the sink and just use it as and when i need to.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

I have already, I was in the supermarket with a friend and pointed it out to her and recommend it, she bought the kitchen one.

snowballinafryingpan · 16/09/2013 08:28

I tested the bathroom cleaner originally but just bought the kitchen one as it was in offer.
Really dislike the smell of it but as a quick touch up product it works well.

BoffinMum · 16/09/2013 11:51

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

OK but I end up scrabbling around to find kitchen roll or cloths.

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

It's OK. I ended up using another product in a trigger pack to finish off, along with the washing up sponge.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I used it less often. Probably twice a week.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

This is a daft amount of money for something that's basically just soap and water. So no.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

No

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I liked the smell a lot.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

No, it's not thorough enough.

lorka · 16/09/2013 12:45

Bought a bathroom one today to try as well - £1.50 @ Tesco. :)

BadgerFace · 16/09/2013 14:59

I tested the kitchen cleaner.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Easy, just push the top down with the kitchen roll.
  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Useful on small spots.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
More often as I wiped when I noticed marks rather than specifically after dinner.
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Maybe, no pricier than other cleaners we use.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
Not that I can think of.
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
It smelled nice!
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
Yes, it's a useful product.
MrsWeasley · 16/09/2013 20:56

I tested the Kitchen Cleaner
The Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is very easy to use.

I found the touch up cleaner very effective on daily grime and mess.

I did use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly but that was because it was quick and easy to use. I kept it on the worktop where as my other bottles are kept in a cupboard so it was more readily available.

I will be buying another on because using it daily has brought my kitchen taps to a shine I am proud of. Grin It will also be buying the bathroom one.

Maybe a anti bacterial one for the table/highchair.

To be honest I am already a fan of Mr Muscle but I love this bottle, it looks good enough not to be hidden in a cupboard. The design is fabulous although I did manage to squirt it up my arm once! The design also prevents using an excessive amount.

I would recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to my friends/family because it make cleaning almost effortless! (in fact it was a pleasure to use) It had a nice pleasant fragrance too!

I really love this product but it wont replace my usual MrMuscle but it will be used along side it.

crazykat · 17/09/2013 07:43

I tested the bathroom cleaner and it was brilliant.

It was really easy to use and ideal to have on the bathroom shelf.

I found I used it more often as I had it out instead of in the cupboard. It's especially good for cleaning after DS1 (4yo) has been to the toilet.

I will definitely replace it when it runs out, most likely this week, as at rrp £2.99 it's about average for cleaning products.

I have already recommended it to family, my mum also found it easy to use which is rare as she has severe arthritis in her hands and finds sprays near impossible to use.

The only thing I wasn't keen on was the smell. It's not that it smells horrible I just prefer lemon scented cleaners, it's nit-picking but it's the only thing that stops it being perfect. That said I will be buying it again as its great.

madmumm · 17/09/2013 14:36

I tested the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for kitchens and found it much more useful than I had anticipated. As a busy Mum of 2 small children, I find it hard to find time to do a thorough clean of the kitchen, but using this Touch Up cleaner several times a day, to wipe down draining board, sink and work surfaces really helped me feel I had done a little more cleaning. Found it very handy for cleaning the high chair tray over the sink with a little product to kill the bacteria and a good rinse afterwards. I would definitely buy this again if it is on special offer as £2.99 is a little high, but under £2 would seem like a good buy. Will be looking out for the bathroom version as it sounds really handy for quickly wiping over the toilet after children have been and the odd little accidents. Love the convenience of the product, so quick and easy to use and would definitely recommend it to others.

SpecialJK · 17/09/2013 19:23
  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Very. Liked the fact I could do it one handed
  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Not too bad, maybe a bit chalky afterwards? Needed a rinse to get it shiny
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
About the same, but easily transportable to other rooms
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Yes, would buy it again depending on how long it lasts.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
I'd really like a polish type one (for polishing furniture, not a Polish one :) )
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
The antibacterial element
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

TheCheeseAlarm · 17/09/2013 19:30

wavesandsmiles · 17/09/2013 22:25

I'm using the kitchen cleaner:

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy! Such a simple way to use the product, no wastage, easy to use.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

It was good on tea stains, and similar, certainly left the worktops looking more clean more often, as it did what it was meant to - cleaned up small areas quickly.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Yes, almost every time I made a cup of tea. It is so handy, the slightest spill and it is so easy to clean up so my kitchen looks better all the time. I would say at least 5 times a day. As opposed to my usual once or twice a day full worktop sweep with a standard cleaner.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

Yes, it helps me feel on top of the cleaning. I would most probably buy it if on offer, and would like to try the bathroom cleaner too.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I think a touch up cleaner for floors would be great - save mopping a whole floor if you could easily clean a spill or muddy footprints for example.

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Easy to use and nice design

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes I would.

mummyofcutetwo · 18/09/2013 09:59

My tester still hasn't arrived so I went out and bought the kitchen cleaner.

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy. I usually use antibacterial wipes rather than sprays as I don't like the way sprays can spray wide, which isn't great around food. This was about as easy as the wipes. Maybe easier as I didn't have to fumble around trying to get a wipe out of a packet...

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I found it very effective. Quick and easy to use, with great results.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I used it about as much as I have previously used wipes, but far more than I would have used spray cleaner.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

A little expensive for me but I'll keep my eyes open to see if it's on offer and buy it then.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

Child/baby friendly one for cleaning toys, changing mats, potties etc.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

The ease of use and results.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

I have recommended it already.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
I have been testing the bathroom cleaner. I found it easy to use and it looked fine to leave out on the side which made me use it more.
  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
It is effective and because of the push down dispenser design I probably used less than when I use spray cleaners. It would be more effective if I could train anyone else in the house to use it and clean a small spot before it becomes a disaster zone!
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I don't think I used it any more than I normally use cleaners
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
I would buy it again , but maybe not at that price, particularly as I would still be buying my main cleaning products too.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
I don't think there is anywhere else I am likely to spot clean although my family are older and I don't go looking for things to clean!
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I quite like the smell and the size and shape of the bottle.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
Yes, I would.
Greedypiggy · 20/09/2013 10:07

I got the bathroom cleaner.

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Very easy to use, innovative design.

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Quite effective, but no more than my normal bathroom cleaner.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I did use it more, because it is handy and sitting on the shelf. You just have to grab a tissue, press and clean, job done!

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
It is more expensive than my regular bathroom cleaner, but I would buy the kitchen one as it would be more handy.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
I can't think of any other areas.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
The innovative and easy to use container.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
I would recommend, as it smells nice and super easy to use, and thefact that I have cleaned the bathroom more often.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Quite effective - but needed quite a few squirts to clean the highchair tray.

Yes.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I don't like having lots of products, prefer one that does everything, so already having a separate kitchen and bathroom is more than enough.

Ease of use, unobtrusive bottle to have out on show.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

ChocolateMama · 20/09/2013 18:11

Tried the kitchen touch up cleaner and found it really good. I am always cleaning up odd bits as I go, so this is great. I would really like something similar for other areas of the house besides the kitchen and bathroom though! Think that the price is OK, but my guess is that if you shop around you will probably find it cheaper (like all cleaners).

suseb99 · 20/09/2013 18:42

At first I wasn't sure about the cleaner as the packaging is completely different from anything else on the market that I have seen.
However after using it for a few days I began to really like it, it is so handy and quick to use and as the branding is't obvious or ugly I have been able to just leave it out beside the sink and use it quickly when needed throughout the day.
I found it to be very efficient in cleaning with a not unpleasant scent and because of this I found myself using it more and more often.

I feel that £2.99 is probably a bit high for the size of the cleaner and would probably not buy it on a regular basis at this price, however i would definitely recommend it to people as it is so handy for quick clean ups.
