I received the kitchen one.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy. I liked the way it could be used one handed.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Very effective. ONe wipe with kitchen towel over the taps made them really shiny.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Only received it yesterday but I imagine because it is so easy to use I would use it more often particularly if I had the bathroom one.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

I would buy it again if on offer as I think this price is a little too expensive. I'd be happy to pay £2 for it.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

Perhaps a polish in the same sort of dispenser?

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

The dispenser and the subtle fragrance.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend it because I found it easy to use and it was effective.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

I found it easy initially when using with a microfibre cloth, when using wit folded piece of kitchen roll it seems to spray everywhere.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? Not great to be honest, it smells great very fresh but not that effective at cleaning my kitchen Worksop still seemed to have some residue on, I'm not sure if I should have used more but it also seems to go down very fast.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Initially to try it out I did, I don't feel I can leave it out because it looks like a hand soap dispenser I think and the contents don't look like a cleaning product.
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
I may buy it on offer but I doubt it, I think my needs need a spray bottle and it would just be another bottle to clutter under the sink.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas? I can't think of anything, I was thinking window cleaner but I quite like spraying them!
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
The smell, very fresh which I really like.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, no I don't think I would, other than the smell, I founds its dispensing unpredictable, if it cleaned properly I may use it for deep cleaning
TallulahTT · 31/08/2013 18:10

Forgot to say it really dries my hands out which is a big downside for me.

Carriepreston · 31/08/2013 19:39

Testing kitchen cleaner

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Easy to operate only sometimes when using kitchen roll it had a tendency to spray out to the side

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
On a par with other products really, I did like the smell more than other products I've used though.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Initially I used it more than other products but as I am doing baby led weaning with DS at the moment, using it to clean his mess up would have meant using almost the whole bottle in one go !

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
I think I would only buy it again if it was on offer as the price is more than I would normally spend on a cleaning product

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
If there was one to clean up spills and prevent stains on the carpet I would definitely consider buying it.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I liked being able to hold to cloth and apply the cleaner with only one hand, so can clean up spills even while holding the baby.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
No probably not as I find using antibacterial wipes easier for touching up, so would probably be more likely to recommend those.

cocolepew · 31/08/2013 19:46

Mine only arrived today so I'll give it another few days before I review it.
It worked brilliantly on a tikka masala stain though!

HazelDormouse · 31/08/2013 21:00

Tested kitchen cleaner

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Easy to use. However, I would prefer a spay as they tend to be more efficient (less excess dribble) and quicker (better control in terms of how much comes out in one go).

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Very effective in particular at cleaning my dirty hob. Seems to lift grime better than other spray/convenience products that I have used in the past.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I still use antibacterial wipes more regularly than anything, especially in terms of wiping table and worktop surfaces. I have been using the Touch-Up Cleaner for areas, such as the hob, where wipes would not have dealt with the spillage problem effectively.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Yes I think I would buy it again. It is useful for certain areas of the kitchen - hob, sink etc. however, for normal spillages I would stick to wipes. I think I will try the bathroom Touch-Up Cleaner in the near future.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
Carpets and fabrics such as cushions and sofas.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
The smell - fresh and lemony.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
Not sure. It depends on your cleaning regime. More likely to recommend it if the dispenser changed.

Only just got mine

traceofinsanity · 31/08/2013 22:21

Hi. I really like this product. I'm using the kitchen variant and love the scent - really fresh and not overpowering. The packaging is also lovely - it doesn't immediately look like a surface cleaner (perhaps hand soap) so I'm happy to leave it out on the counter top, which also means it gets used more often. I'm actually feeling pretty good about my usually minging kitchen surfaces since receiving this.

It's really easy to use. I use it with a cloth, rather than kitchen paper and at first was a bit unsure whether it was coming out as you can't see it on the cloth, but then I noticed the scent and am now confident that it is coming out with each press, although I still press twice to be sure to get enough.

So far I've only used it on the kitchen counter, our wipe-clean tablecloth and the high chair. It has tackled a number of spills very well, including half dried Weetabix (no mean feat!). It left very slight smearing on the tablecloth, but far less than another big brand cleaner I've tried previously. No visible smearing on the other surfaces. Will try it on the cooker hob tomorrow for a tougher test and report back.

I'd definitely consider buying this and the bathroom variant, although at £2.99 might wait for an offer.

I'd certainly recommend this to friends/family for the scent and ease of use.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? Excellent I couldn't fault it.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not? It's pricey so I will stock up when I see it on offer.

Hopezibah · 31/08/2013 23:04

We received a citrus 'flavour' kitchen Mr Muscle to use. Initially I thought that the packaging was going to be one of those 'innovations' that looks good but is impractical to use - but I was wrong as it didn't getting messy and actually worked as it was supposed to!

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

VERY easy!

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I tried it on stainless steel straight away as I struggle to clear watermarks and grease off that and it seems to have brightened it up nicely.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

It is intended to leave within easy reach to use frequently but I felt happier to keep it in the cleaning cupboard under the sink but I still found I used it regularly. Probably slightly more often than my usual disinfectant cleaner.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

That seems about the average price point that I would imagine for this type of product. At that price I would consider buying it.

the only thing that puts me off slightly is that I associate the Mr Muscle brand with strong cleaners and so it feels odd using this product on surfaces without rinsing off.

I would prefer lots of reassurance about how safe it is to help me associate the brand with this type of product rather than stronger cleaners. eg. things like Dettol or ecover seem 'gentler' to me and I feel happier not rinsing those products after use.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I think kitchen and bathroom are the main areas.

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I was really surprise about how much I loved the innovative design!

It really did work without drips or mess!

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

yes - new innovative product that works!

I tested the kitchen touch up cleaner

- How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Very good, definitely as effective as other cleaners I've used, possibly better!

- Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I used the cleaner several times a day to wipe up tea/food spills from the work surface. Usually for spot cleaning I would use antibacterial wipes. I found it very easy to grab some kitchen paper and use the mr muscle. My husband has also been using it as it's a new thing for him to try!
He used it because it was on display so it was quick and easy for him to have a quick clean up. Anything that gets my husband doing some cleaning gets a thumbs up from me :)

- The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
The bottle is quite small but It would depend on how long it lasts as to whether I'd purchase again so I would have to wait and see.
The price isn't too expensive compared to the cost of antibacterial wipes.

- Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
It would be quite handy to have a version for polishing

- What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
It's very easy to use, it's on display so quick and easy to do a quick once over. The fragrance of the kitchen cleaner was very nice, not too chemically even though it is antibacterial.

- If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
Being on display I'm sure friends and family would comment on the product and I would definitely recommend it to them and give a quick demo ;)

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use? - Thought it was fab, didn't have to pick up bottle or squirt or anything.
  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? - Thought it was brilliant. We have black granite worktops and it is hard to find something that leaves them shiny and clean and this product does exactly that.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? - Yes I did use it more often than other cleaners as it was a lot easier to use. Stopped using all other products eventually.
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not? - Depends how long this bottle lasts.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas? - An oven one would be nice to wipe around the hob and oven after use and maybe one that can be used to wipe over kids toys etc.
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? - The ease of use was the best thing and the citrus one smells lovely.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not? - Yes I would - I would say how great it is at cleaning the granite and how shiny it makes it and how easy it is to use.

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

I received the kitchen cleaner. I found it very easy to use.

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Very effective - it worked well on my ceramic hob too.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

We usually have a clean up after cooking and I tend to go over the worktops again before I go to bed. I'm not sure I'd use this more regularly but it was easy to have it out and ready to use.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

Yes but it is at the top end of what I would pay. I agree with a previous poster who said a refill would be a better option. I also wonder how long it will take for the supermarkets to bring out their own version of this.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I used the cleaner for my window frames but didn't want to chance a streaky mess by using it on the glass so a window cleaner version might be good.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I liked the fact it could sit, tucked away on the kitchen windowsill, without looking as though it had been left out accidentally - its quite discreet.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. I like the design of the pump and it's an effective cleaner.

Mine arrived while I was away, so tried it yesterday at the first opportunity.

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Didn't find it particularly easy, you can't tell how much product is on the cloth until you start wiping, and I had to go back for several more squirts.
How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Less effective than my usual spray, on worktop splashes, and innefective on stainless steel smears.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Too early to tell.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
No, I prefer the trigger sprays.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house?
I don't understand why we need different cleaners for hard surfaces at all.
What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Nice LOOK to the bottle and diispenser.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
No, because I don't like the smell.

idleweiss · 01/09/2013 12:22

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
I found it very easy to use.

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I found it quite effective, although some marks required a little elbow grease!

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I did not use it as much as my other products, but as I had it next to the sink, I did use it a bit, as it was quick and easy to use, for small marks and stains on the surfaces nearby.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Although I really liked the concept, I will not be buying it again as I found the fragrance too strong and quite sickening. I also had a bit of a skin reaction to it too, so had to wear gloves when i did use it.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
maybe anti-bac cleaner for stains on laminate floors, etc?

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
The packaging design/concept for no fuss quick cleaning.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
I would tell them it was quite handy and to give it a go if they liked, but would tell them of my experiences with the fragrance and irritation.

mrstalbear · 01/09/2013 13:09

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
Very easy, I love the touch application as I can do it one-handed with a baby in the other hand!

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Brilliant- cleaned everything I tried it on with no scrubbing. The stainless steel bin came up very clean and did not streak like usual.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
So far, Yes. I think as it is on the worktop and to hand, It just seems quick and easy to wipe up bits there and then. I have used it loads so far, probably 15 times yesterday (I kept finding new bits to clean and did the already clean worktops a few times because I like using it!)

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Definitely! I can't believe it costs so little! I will be trying the bathroom one without doubt!

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
Probably wouldn't be of much use to me to have one for other areas as the kitchen one will do a utility room and the bathroom will do for a downstairs loo.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
The way it takes the hassle out of day to day cleaning- using this the house should stay cleaner for longer.........
With a 5 month old baby time for cleaning is limited to short periods as she is quite clingy at the moment. This I can use one handed with no messing.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
Definitely. Good value, effective and smells nice! Also love that I can leave it on the kitchen side and it doesn't look odd. Great product, thanks so much for the opportunity to test it.

NettleTea · 01/09/2013 13:59

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
simple to use, although often the cleaner squirted out the side when I put the tissue on top.

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
worked effectively as a cleaner

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
probably. Its very presence in the bathroom reminded me to use it

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Possibly, I like the fact that it is right there - I am a bit slutty at cleaning, so any reminder is a help

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
maybe a special toilet cleaner one?

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
nice packaging and scent. looks OK to leave in place

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
yes

Raffers13 · 01/09/2013 15:22

Have been using the kitchen product for a few days now and I have to say I have mixed feelings about it. I like the concept a lot it is great to have the handy bottle design which works perfectly with kitchen roll and is convenient to use without trigger spray. However, my children did not like the smell.
Price wise I think it is acceptable because it is perfect for touch ups and the bottle design makes it acceptable to leave out on display. I would buy it and recommend it to others if the scent was changed.
Thanks for including me in the survey :)

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Very effective.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Yes I did use it more regularly as I'd placed it in full view on the bathroom windowsill. I used it a couple of times a day - and instructed other members of the family to do so if it was needed too

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Yes I probably will buy the bathroom one again as it was really useful for a quick swipe around the basin and the loo (one husband and 2 teenage sons who are still rubbish at "aiming")

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I am so pleased with this product, I have been sent the kitchen cleaner. It is sitting on my window, is great for keeping out and I don't mind having it on display. I love the citrus smell as it makes the kitchen smell nice and fresh. I have used this on worktops sink and cooker (glass) and it is great with no left over smears. I already use Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner so this will be a new addition to my cleaning list!
:-)

Used it a fair bit as we were back from holiday and cleaning our camper. Dh found it useful to be able to use it one-handed while holding onto other things at the same time.

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

Not very keen on the scent of the product. The container was very useful so would be happy to buy a cheaper refill.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

A leather cleaner would be useful for furniture.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Handy size - would also be good to take in our camper for holidays. Dh and ds would be more inclined to use it as it can be kept on the worktop.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes, apart from the smell.

Those who tested Kitchen touch-up: can I just ask, is it anti-bacterial i.e. on contact? As the bathroom one we had said to soak for 5 minutes in order to "disinfect" (as mentioned in my feedback) - I was just interested if it was the same for the kitchen one.

I was distinctly underwhelmed by the (kitchen) cleaner as a cleaning product. It didn't seem to be any better than water at lifting dirt. It really should be thought of as a way of making your own disinfectant wipes as required, in which case it's quite a neat idea. The odour is pleasant, distinctly citrusy. Easy to use, so long as you make sure you don't miss your folded-up kitchen towel when you squirt it. Squat and stable container, easy to store. Reasonable price.
