Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

My overall impression of Pampers Easy Up pants is good. I think they are quite strong and easy to put on. Not only this but I feel like it really goes well with potty training especially if you want to introduce your toddler early on. I used Pampers Easy Up pants when David (my son) was just 10 months. He wasn't walking but his crawling speed was immense and we decided that the easy up pants were best. We have been using them for a while now and find it hard to fault them. He is now 14 months and when we pull them down (we used to just rip the sides) he lifts up his feet either side to get out of the nappy. Although he has taken his nappy off whilst in the cot I believe it won't be long until he starts telling us his nappy is full or even takes them down himself. The only thing I would say is that I wouldn't use the easy up pants for night time. Although it's only happened once I did get an explosive nappy one morning and it was horrible to clean up. Another thing that the easy up pants by Pampers offer is the tape on the nappy to use to fold away when disposing of the nappy. Although I did not know what this was used for until recently as it is not made clear. I will indeed be using these nappies up until David is clean as I am so happy with them.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

They are indeed easy to use and I find easy to put on. They were hard at first as David would wiggle around just like any normal baby. He wiggles when you put on trousers as well. However he has since stopped being so wiggling and actually I would say that perhaps the pants have taught him not to wiggle around when putting on pants or trousers

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I have never used any other pull ups by other companies but this is because David has always used pampers. We tried other brands when he was younger but pampers were the best for this little man's bum!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend them to parents whos little ones were walking or crawling fast and if they were starting to potty train there little one early.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Sometimes they can be good value and sometimes I don't think they can be. I think sometimes they are good value because I believe the quality is excellent however I do sometimes find myself running out of money as sometimes I do need to buy a lot as we run out quickly. I prefer to buy the packet with the most nappies in so they last longer.

OLFRTAYL · 21/07/2013 19:41

I tested the size 4 on my 20 month old son.

Q1-Overall impression was very good-will definitely be purchasing some more.

Q2-Very convenient and easy to use-far easier than putting a nappy on an active 20 month old!

Q3-Pampers are the only pull up/easy up pants tried so far as always used Pampers nappies it seemed the next step to pants.

Q4-I would definitely recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other mums.

Q5-The Easy Up Pants are a bit pricey compared with nappies but they are convenient for both child and parents.

TheSkiingGardener · 21/07/2013 19:44

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
They were ok, but didn't seem hugely different from nappies to a child's eye. They also have to be ripped at the sides to take then off without undressing DS and if you want to put another pair on then you have to take everything off, which isn't very convenient.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Not compared to either normal nappies or Huggies pull ups.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Not as easy to use, not as differentiated in design from normal nappies.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
No, I'd say they were fine, but a bit inconvenient.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are cheaper than the main competitor, Huggies, but not enough to make up for the difference in convenience

babySophieRose · 21/07/2013 20:13

My daughter is 21 months and we had size 4 easy ups to try.
Q1 Not bad overall, we use them only when we are out, as they are easy to put on. We will use them again as for convenience.
Q2 Yes, we find them convenient, but haven't tried other brands.
Q3 No, we haven't used other brands.
Q4 Yes, i will recommend them as a convenient choice for outing and when no baby change facilities are available.
Q5 If used only for outings price is okay, not sure how many we will need when we start potty training.

melanielow · 21/07/2013 21:49

My son is 13months and he wears size 4.

Q1 - We've used the Easy up pants for a few days now and where it really excels is overnight. My son sleeps from 8pm-7am and ALWAYS has a poo in the morning when he's barely woken up. So a lot of times we don't get to him in time to change him out of the nappy he's worn overnight before he poos... and amazingly so far the nappy has been able to hold everything in without leaking!

These nappies feel soft and cotton-like so that's a plus. The tab on the back to wrap them up is really handy and secure. The fit is good and he seems comfortable.

Q2 - They are usually easy to put on but when he's being super wriggly, it can take longer than regular nappies.

Q3 Yes, we've used a Japanese brand while overseas that were also this pull up pants style and these were definitely as good if not better.

Q4 - Yes I would recommend this to other parents.

Q5 - A bit pricy compared to other options, but worth it not to have to deal with any leaks.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Well usualy my ddaughter hates wearing nappies but she found these very comfy and she liked attempting to pull them up so I will buy them again.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not? Yes because my daughter is at the starting stages of potty training so she says ? poo! When she is just abut to start and she wont wait so have to be quick and pull em down so its a lot convineient doing it instead of unstriping the sides open.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes for sure because it?s a good transition not exactly knickers not exactly nappies but my daughter feels more comfortable in those. And feels more grown up.

Niamh123 · 21/07/2013 22:58

Found the easy up pants good so far, especially in this warm weather I'm leaving my little one with no best ok so the pants are staying up well not like a nappy with no vest would droop when wet. The colourfulness appears to interest my little girl too! However, they are quite expensive so will have to think about using them continuously.

Niamh123 · 21/07/2013 23:00
  • no vest on!
Southsearocks · 22/07/2013 07:16

2.5 year old

  1. Easier to use than conventional nappies but DS unable to pull them up or down so as trainers I'm not sure. No good for night time.
  1. Very convenient and easy to use.
  1. I've only used Pampers pull ups before and these seem tighter.
  1. Yes.
  1. Pricey. I would look for a cheaper alternative.
antsypants · 22/07/2013 07:34

I missed my delivery and the post office cannot locate my parcel, so went out and bought some, I found them reasonably priced, especially for the large packs, although I just got a carry pack for the testing.

Dd is toilet trained during the day but not at night, she's not ready to be dry through the night and I have found ordinary nappies awkward to keep on now and also rarely waterproof.

The pampers easy ups were easy to get on, both sides were firm and well made enough to be pulled up and down by a toddlers hands, they also hold a lot of liquid, dd had a full nappy but a dry bed when she got up, the filling had not split apart of turned hard like some nappies do

Dd liked the designs on them and also the control it have.

I would definitely recommend them to another parent, my only concern would be the costs, I have friends who are on a very tight budget who simply could not afford them.

Overall I was impressed with the quality if the nappies am I would definitely use them again.

StealthToddler · 22/07/2013 07:35

We love these - thank you for letting us test them!
I would buy these again and would recommend them. I think they are good value when bought in offer (ocado usually has good deals).
I have found them to be very good. Not for potty training (which I am doing now) as I think nappy pants are confusing for that, but for children who fight when having nappies put on and for night time.
I have tried other pull ups but I don't find the fit as well and these last all night with no leaks. My children also like the Dora/Diego design.

PolkaDotCups · 22/07/2013 08:21

My daughter who was testing these is 10 months / 20lbs

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were good quality, felt quite thick, didn't have any accidents. On a superficial note I hate branded characters on products like this, I much prefer the look of Active Fit / Baby Dry Pampers. The characters are likely to put me off rather than encourage me to buy nappies. However, if I saw them on offer I would get them again, but it would have to be a significant saving on the RRP.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, surprisingly so. My daughter is obviously not potty trained, or even close to starting. But she does wriggle, climb and generally move around which makes changing her hard at home and often impossible when out and about. We had to do a change in the park and it was so much easier not having tabs, she just jumped right into them and I yanked them up.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Not used before

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend, especially for parents with very wriggly, active children who aren't potty training and might not have considered them for ease of use.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

No, I'm not potty training, I don't need my DD to pull them up and down myself and so at this stage they are very expensive (compared to regular nappies) for a bit of extra ease for me. I probably will buy some to use when we are out and about and there is a lack of facilities to lie her down, or she is being wriggly and difficult but I wouldn't use them at home yet due to the cost. As a step between nappies and pants later on I expect they will be more of a necessity rather than luxury.

PolkaDotCups · 22/07/2013 08:22

Forgot to say we tested size 4

Erinlyn · 22/07/2013 08:34

We had size 6. Forgot to say.

Bullywodgie · 22/07/2013 09:16
  1. I tried the size 6 pull ups, my first impression is the pictures on them (Dora & Diego) were a little out of date as I don't know any kids that watch them anymore and my kids never did so my three year old girl was not impressed, had to sweet talk her into them. By the pants arrived my little girl was daytime trained so I only used them at night, the fit was good and the one or two mornings she woke up wet, they didn't leak. I would try them again on my next baby when it comes to potty training him but my little girl insisted after a week that we went back to her Huggies princess pants as she felt the Pampers were for boys.
  1. The pants are definetly convenient and very easy to use they go up and down in seconds.
  1. I have used Huggies pull ups in the past and found the Pampers less of a struggle to pull on and probably a slightly better fit but as I said my little girl couldn't stand the designs and after a week she point blank refused to wear them and we went back to the Huggies.
  1. I would recommend Pampers to friends as they did there job well but I probably wouldn't recommend them to friends with girls unless they change the designs.
  1. The pull ups are expensive but for me they are only used in conjunction with potty training so that wouldn't put me off as I'd only be using one or two a day. I would be very slow to use them instead of nappies as that would work out very expensive.
Tootsandblanket · 22/07/2013 09:24

We tested size 5 for my dd who is 2 and half, weighing 13kgs.
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Easy to put on, no leakages, so yes I would use them again.
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes very easy. I like the little tape attachment for easy rolling to dispose of them.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No,this is our first go at pull ups.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them , it make it clear ts only based in a positive experience of my own, rather than being able compare them to other pull ups.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are expensive compared to other brands/ supermarket own . I would have to try some cheaper ones and work out of they are as effective as pampers before I could commit to buying the more expensive branded ones.

Julie8711 · 22/07/2013 09:59

We tested Size 4 on our daughter who is neatly 1 year old. She's obviously not at the potty training stage but rolls over all the time when putting her nappy on so it was great to try these instead.
Q1. They were really good quality as I always expect from Pampers however they didn't fit her as well as the Baby Dry ones so we did have a few leakages.
Q2. They were really easy to use. Really stretchy so not hard to get over their chubby legs!
Q3. No I haven't used any other brands before. The closest in design are swim nappies that I've used and these are often hard to get over their legs.
Q4.yes I would, although I would probably wait till she's a bit older as the absorbency is better on the baby dry ones.
Q5. I always buy pampers as I find them such good quality. They are a bit more pricey but there's usually an offer on somewhere making them compatible to other shop brands.

shelley72 · 22/07/2013 10:14

we have only just tried these on DD who is 3.2 and is not yet showing signs of wanting to use the loo/potty. we tried size 5

Q1: they look ok, didn't recognise the characters on them (DD probably would have preferred peppa and george!). they were easy for her to put on though. she usually wears active fit during the day but these are difficult to get off quickly if she does decide to try the potty. so these are good in that they are easy to get up and down.

Q2: they are very easy for DD to put on and very easy to take off, even when containing a poo Shock.

Q3: we have used huggies pull ups. DDs prefers the (pink) design. absorbency wise they seem v similar (ie not as absorbent as active fit)

Q4: I would recommend these nappies to parents if they were struggling with changing or to encourage a bit of independence but other than that the other pampers are better IMO.

Q5: they are quite expensive, but comparable in price for pull ups. i would probably buy them in preparation for potty use if DD ever decides to bother

mrsmilliebrown · 22/07/2013 10:32

Hi there

Been using the Pampers Easy Up Pants for just under a week now and I would say I am fairly impressed with them overall. My LO is 22m and so has always used normal nappies and even though there was the odd nappy change she wanted the normal style on, she seemed to like these. I found them much easy to put on and take off so less of her running about time wasted, but if it was a 'code brown' nappy, I wasnt as keen as I found it more fiddly having to rip the sides! I would definitely consider them when she is potty training and ready for pants though, I think they will be great at that stage. I would also feed this back to other parents when they are at that stage as well!

Re price though, I have to say I am not an expert (evern after 22m of being a parent) as to price of nappies. I only ever buy nappies on offer so compare at the time! So when I was ready to buy this style nappy/easy up pants, I would go with whatever is on offer or best price!

Hope this is helpful.

Son, aged 19mths
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I like them. I've been using them for about 6 mths, and will continue using them.
DS and I have no interest in the characters/pictures. I don't think he's noticed them.
I've not used them at night yet. We use Pampers baby dry overnight - he does tend to fill them up...
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
I like the slim fit, I like how easy they are to get on a wriggly 19mth old, and they contain what needs to be contained during the day.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No, haven't used other Easy up type nappies.
However, DH bizarrely came home with some Huggies potty training nappies yesterday. So we may try them - I haven't liked huggies in the past, they seemed to cause bad nappy rash. Will post again if we try them.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, because they are so easy and reliable.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I buy the big multipacks when on offer. They are more expensive, but they are reliable and keep my son dry. I've tried other brands and been let down, I don't waste time anymore and stick with Pampers.

cazbo16 · 22/07/2013 11:03

My baby boy is larger than average 9 month old (big at birth and in size 12-18 mths clothes). We were sent size 5 but could of gone larger as don't seem to cover his back as much as normal nappies so concerned about leaks. None yet!

Q1 I've used them for my previous children, so happy to use again. Very convenient once babes are on the move and don't want to wait around for a nappy to be put on.
Q2 They are a lot easier to use than nappies, just put them on and off like normal pants.
Q3 I've used stores own and later huggies trainers, these are more slim fitted and hold more in.
Q4 I have recommended them in the past and would be happy to do so again.
Q5 The bigger packs are obviously better value. You can buy other brands but Pampers just work!

idleweiss · 22/07/2013 13:09

Q1 I thought they were a great pull up nappy, the sizing was good, it felt soft, designs were simple.
Q2 Yes I found them easy and convenient to use.
Q3 I have used similarly designed nappies, I liked that these were unisex.I find some pull up designs are too girly. My LO is not really familiar with the characters, but recognised Dora so was quite pleased.
Q4 I would recommend them as I found they were very absorbent and my LO felt comfortable in them
Q5 For me,they are a little expensive, I would still buy them though...they are a great nappy and pampers is a great brand and if you have the money to spend then yes I guess they would be good value for money! :)

NaveedeIslam · 22/07/2013 14:09

i ve used pampers since my elder son was born... n every time i used it i feel more confident using it next time. its extra thin and more absorbance encourages me to recommend it to new mums too. i like pampers for the little bottoms as it doesn't cause nappy rashes too.
