We've been asked by the team at Schwartz to find 250 Mumsnetters to try their new range of 2in1 recipe mixes. Here's what they say: "The new 2in1 range offers two easy to use recipe mix sachets in one handy pack: one sachet flavours the main dish whilst the other contains a seasoning for a complementary side dish or topping. With five different varieties to choose from, and an easy recipe on the back of each pack, this is a great way to try out new dishes or transform an existing family favourite from ordinary to special."

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters with at least one child living at home. Please note all the recipes feature chicken so with regret are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans - sorry!

If you are selected to take part, you'll be sent all of the five 2in1 sachets and asked to include these in your regular family meals (please note you will have to buy the other ingredients yourself):

RRP £1.29 per sachet.

We want you to try the sachets over the course of 3 weeks and add feedback to the thread each time you use one of the recipe mixes (so please only apply if you'll be able to try at least three of the recipes!). Testers will also be required to upload pictures of their creations to the feedback thread.

Everyone who is selected and who adds at least three sets of feedback to the thread will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will receive a £500 John Lewis voucher!

So if you'd like to take part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

I think I have the complete set, will double check. Only had time to have a quick peek at the instructions but looks like I will be buying natural yoghurt in the next shop...never had to use that in a packet mix before. The proof is in the mix pudding as they say. Can't wait to try them.

Sparklingbrook · 19/06/2013 13:15

Where is the feedback thread? Can't find it.

Manchesterhistorygirl · 19/06/2013 13:18

I didn't get the you've been chosen email, but my packets arrived this morning!

D we have to take pictures?

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 13:21

If someone could point me in the right direction of the feedback thread too that would be great, I can't find it.

Blatherskite · 19/06/2013 13:25

Nothing here yet and the postman has been already. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow.

aristocat · 19/06/2013 13:29

No sachets here yet either ...

GrandPoohBah · 19/06/2013 15:54

Mine arrived today - the package wasn't very secure and was completely open on one side where the paper had ripped.

Best get shopping for some chicken then! The cheesy crumb topping for the pasta does say garlic and herb on the back, but when you look at the ingredients list it says to sprinkle grated cheese on top of the crumb, which presumably makes it cheesy Grin

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 16:15

The pasta bake one says you can substitute chicken for tuna, sounds tasty

Pascha · 19/06/2013 16:16

No post for me today.

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 19:11

I am cooking one now

Sparklingbrook · 19/06/2013 19:13

Anyone found the feedback thread yet?

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 19:23

Nope, kinda need it soon too

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/06/2013 19:54

Can't find the feedback thread either, and have just eaten the first meal!

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 19:56

What did you have Anne? I made the Med pasta one

Sparklingbrook · 19/06/2013 19:57

Did you take pics?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/06/2013 19:58

I made the garlic and thyme roast chicken. And yes, I took pics!

It was lovely. How was the pasta?

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 19:59

I did Sparkling.. of my daughters plate which is Peppa pig Grin
I also took some of it in the pan. I wasn't sure which to use tbh

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 20:01

Anne that looks delicious cant wait to try that one.

It was nice, quite strong flavours. DD liked it too

candyflosscloud · 19/06/2013 20:04

Waiting for the feedback thread to as I also have cooked my first one today though I think they are doing the feedback thread on Friday but fingers crossed they make one early lol.

Sparklingbrook · 19/06/2013 20:06

I am behind. Must buy chicken and new tableware tomorrow.

Fraxinus · 19/06/2013 20:09

Oh no I forgot to take pics!

I made the garlic and herb chicken with cheese and chive dip, for 4 little girls. They ate it all up and asked for seconds.

I thought the grated cheese in the dip was a bit weird, personally, but the girls scoffed the lot. I served it with potatoes and salad.

Also, I bought a whole chicken and cut the breasts off and into chunks, and used those. I have never seen chicken mini fillets for sale in a shop.... Perhaps I don't go to big enough supermarkets.

Sparklingbrook · 19/06/2013 20:11

Oh Fraxinus. Grin No pics?

Fraxinus · 19/06/2013 20:12

I know, what a twerp! I have to say I find it something of a strain having other kids round for tea and I clean forgot!

SisterMatic · 19/06/2013 20:12

I found myself cleaning the toaster as it was in the background of one of the pics Blush

Theimpossiblegirl · 19/06/2013 20:12

My sachets have arrived but instead of Garlic & Herb Crunchy Chicken Bites I got 2 of the Garlic & Thyme Roast Chicken. Will be cooking our first meal on Friday night.
