Hi all - just to let you know I'm just checking with the app team who has submitted what and will be in touch with each of you to confirm what you still need to submit.

Thanks!

Thanks Helen. I uploaded all of the videos, but the first two tasks have been overwritten by the last task, so now they all show the same and I can't edit the first two. I have the videos here, I could possibly email them if that's easier. I've emailed the lady who we received the email from with the password for the app to let her know I'm having problems.

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 10:34

Blimey, I'm a bit scared. It's like waiting for the teacher to give exam grades out.

I've uploaded everything I have, so can't do anymore today as dd is at school now.

clux73 · 12/11/2012 10:37

I know, I'm a bit worried that mine won't be good enough and I'll get told off!

pantone363 · 12/11/2012 10:46

Everything has uploaded here. The app freezes every time I press publish but all the tasks have moved from tasks to rewards and awaiting feedback so I'm going to presume its worked!

TheOtherHelenMumsnet · 12/11/2012 10:48

Haha - sit up straight! Stop talking! Maybe I should have been a teacher...

I think I might play hookey this afternoon.

Wink
hattifattner · 12/11/2012 11:10

my "interview" was not good - think DS has his finger over the mic. will have to refilm later....

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 11:15

I'm going to get a detention, I know it.

Doogle2 · 12/11/2012 11:31

Is anyone else having problems with game recognising a child saying the spell. Mine says is cant hear us. Is there a secret microphone that I am not aware of?

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 11:39

There's a microphone in the camera.

clux73 · 12/11/2012 11:47

Oh no, just had an email saying mine haven't uploaded even though it looks like they have!

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 11:49

They better not do that to me because I had to delete them as I went along to make space on my phone memory. Shit app.

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 11:49

I'm not checking emails or messages for the next week.

pantone363 · 12/11/2012 11:51

No email here, but the app crashed every time I pressed publish!

gazzalw · 12/11/2012 11:58

Oh dear, same problem here!

clux73 · 12/11/2012 12:02

Mine say "published, awaiting feedback" but apparently haven't uploaded!

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 12:30

I've had an email. Got to leave the app open for a bit longer as the videos haven't gone through. I thought they'd gone as the app said they had. Grrrr.

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 12:30

Yes Clux, mine said published awaiting feedback as well!

gazzalw · 12/11/2012 13:21

Ditto...maybe we were all too impatient in closing down the apps?

VivaLeBeaver · 12/11/2012 13:28

Maybe, but when there's a message saying "published, awaiting feedback" you think its done. Oh dear.

pantone363 · 12/11/2012 13:28

Same here! Going to delete the app and start again

jennywren123 · 12/11/2012 13:35

I'm sending them via their file transfer site now, working much better - famous last words!

ScorpionQueen · 12/11/2012 13:38

I was so nervous checking my email in case mine hadn't worked as I live in the sticks with an iffy signal. I left the app running for hours last night and thankfully my videos worked. It was stressful though, but still worth it for the free PS3 and the lovely time we had.

DH said if Sony want any testers for the games aimed at an older audience, he's their man. I said I would pass this on.

It's been interesting listening to him telling people how good Mumsnet is this weekend. He told his mate he should get his wife on here. I kept quiet, she already is.
