NOW CLOSED Would you like to join a special panel for TalkTalk? Customers and non customers needed

We've been asked by TalkTalk to recruit UK based MNers to join a special panel to take part in a total of around 4 activities over the coming months.

We've been asked to find around 400 MNers (though it could be more) to take part in at least four activities (one of which is open only to TalkTalk customers only) - these are consultations about specific strategy ideas, improving customer service and one for customers about a TalkTalk product.

Each activity will be undertaken either on the boards or off site. If you're selected for the panel you will be emailed a link, and each time there will be a prize draw incentive with a great prize on offer for at least one lucky participant. Prizes will include family tickets to the X Factor tour, mobile handsets and shopping vouchers.

The panel is open to all UK MNers with at least one child at home.

As we say, we're looking for customers as well as non customers - it's open to everyone whether you love, loathe or have never heard of TalkTalk! Grin

If you'd like to take part please complete this survey and we'll be in touch with those selected for the panel asap.

Please note that there are a few more questions in this sign up survey than usual - that's because we want to choose panellists based on what they think on the issues covered. There are no right or wrong answers!

Thanks
MNHQ

I was the op with the problems with TalkTalk signing my sn brother up without knowledge. I would be horrified if they were able to use the strapline 'approved by mumsnetters'. The number of posters who supported me probably would be as well. Excellent point Bumptious

Can you link to your thread Hairy?

Jux · 06/09/2012 10:56

Hairy, I've just read your thread. As a result I am withdrawing from this. I hope TT sink without trace. Market forces.

MN please withdraw me. Thank you.

TapirBackRider · 06/09/2012 13:49

MN please withdraw me from this - I don't wish to be associated with TT in any way, shape or form.

Hi all - just to clarify, we won't be doing any activity with TalkTalk that will involve them being able to say anything is 'approved by Mumsnetters' - the purpose of the panel is to consult families and listen to what they have to say about the products and services TalkTalk offer and are introducing.

HairyPotter - we put you in touch with TalkTalk's CEO and we hope you've had a satisfactory response from them.

Jux and TapirBackRider - no problem - we'll remove you from the list of those who've signed up.

youarewinning · 23/09/2012 11:51

I also started a thread about talk talk once! They even came on there!!! Think it was damage limitation after the 50th YANBU - talk talk are crap Wink

Jux · 23/09/2012 12:24

Shock HairyPotter. Has it resolved yet?

HairyPotter · 23/09/2012 17:43

Jux they apologised and offered to make a donation in db's name to a charity of his choice. Would not tell me what, if any, action they have taken against the agent that left the message.

Still not happy though, easy to say sorry after the event isn't it.

Jux · 23/09/2012 19:38

Oh yes; always a sign of someone with no intention of doing anything different. I see it on 'Relationships' all the time. Sorry I hit you, here's some flowers. Sorry I hit you, here's some flowers. Sorry I hit you, here's some flowers.........
