We've been asked by "The Many Faces of Potatoes campaign" to find 15 MNers and their families willing to try out some potato recipes over the next few months and to add their feedback on Mumsnet. We're looking for a range of UK MNers - including those who love potatoes and cook with them every week and those who do not - perhaps because of time constraints or maybe because you are one of the many people who are not aware of the health benefits of potatoes. All you need to have at least one child aged 12 months+

If you are selected to take part you will...
~ Be asked to try out a potato based recipe with your family once a month for 6 months (excluding December, five recipes in total) and add your feedback on Mumsnet about how you got on.

~ Get supermarket vouchers for the total cost of the ingredients you will need for all of the recipes.

~ Get £100 of "Love2Shop" vouchers to thank you for your time (vouchers can be redeemed at a number of high street outlets see for full details) at the end of the project, providing you have added all your feedback.

The campaign team say "The Many Faces of Potatoes campaign is all about encouraging mums and home-cooks to use potatoes as part of weekly meal repertories by showcasing the many ways in which you can cook with them. All of the recipes promoted are ready from prep to plate in 30 minutes or less, which also helps to dispel the myth that potatoes take too long to cook for mid-week meal consumption. For further information on this campaign or for more recipe ideas see: www.manyfacesofpotatoes.co.uk"

If you'd like to sign up please add your details here

We'll be in touch with those selected by email.
Thanks, MNHQ

silverfrog · 30/09/2011 10:38

a salmon/potato/cherry tomato parcel. looks really nice, and simple enough to make.

ClaimedByMe · 30/09/2011 10:40

That sounds really nice!

OvO · 30/09/2011 10:57

Mine is Chinese Chicken with Potatoes. I wonder why we aren't all doing the same one?

silverfrog · 30/09/2011 11:04

yes, I thought we would be doing a 'recipe of the month' type thing, and then a new one next month and so on.

EttiKetti · 30/09/2011 16:47

I am so excited to have been a chosen one too! Mine is chinese chicken with potatoes too, to which my DS responded "oh I think I will like that" :o (not sure I have an email, will go check, but have the letter!)

Can't wait to get cracking!

noyouhavehadawee · 01/10/2011 10:14

EttiKetti · 01/10/2011 13:05

Mine came SD yes, but left it at neighbours and left no card to tell me! Pure fluke I saw her and got it as she is rarely in!

noyouhavehadawee · 01/10/2011 19:29

ooo i went myself and i got my stuff, i am going to be knocking up a feast of salmon and potato parcel.

EttiKetti · 01/10/2011 20:00

How does the money card work, are you all buying the recipe bits separately to your main shop !!

noyouhavehadawee · 01/10/2011 20:17

mine is an asda gift card so i will probs just buy the ingredients as part of my weekly shop and use the card forone of my whole weekly shops. I have checked out how much is on the card and it made me smile Smile. Obv its to cover all the recipes.

ClaimedByMe · 01/10/2011 20:56

How much is on the card? Mine is for sainsbos (cant remember picking that) and cant be used online so im just getting the ingredients with my weekly shop and will go to sainsbos at some point and spend them!

When is the feedback thread going up?

noyouhavehadawee · 01/10/2011 21:32

Feedback thread going i think - £69 on mine.

ClaimedByMe · 01/10/2011 21:41

Mine had 53 written on the cardboard attatched to the card so i presume it meant £53!

EttiKetti · 02/10/2011 06:32

Mines got 55 written on it, how can they all be so different?! Can't see feedback thread, Ann said Monday tho....

noyouhavehadawee · 02/10/2011 09:58

it probably based on size of families and ages and region perhaps ?

AnnMumsnet · 02/10/2011 14:06

Hi...yes the cards are for the whole amount for all your recipes...but obviously up to you how you use them. Remember this does last a long time...into next year! We'll start the thread soonest and send you the link.
