We've been asked by "The Many Faces of Potatoes campaign" to find 15 MNers and their families willing to try out some potato recipes over the next few months and to add their feedback on Mumsnet. We're looking for a range of UK MNers - including those who love potatoes and cook with them every week and those who do not - perhaps because of time constraints or maybe because you are one of the many people who are not aware of the health benefits of potatoes. All you need to have at least one child aged 12 months+

If you are selected to take part you will...
~ Be asked to try out a potato based recipe with your family once a month for 6 months (excluding December, five recipes in total) and add your feedback on Mumsnet about how you got on.

~ Get supermarket vouchers for the total cost of the ingredients you will need for all of the recipes.

~ Get £100 of "Love2Shop" vouchers to thank you for your time (vouchers can be redeemed at a number of high street outlets see for full details) at the end of the project, providing you have added all your feedback.

The campaign team say "The Many Faces of Potatoes campaign is all about encouraging mums and home-cooks to use potatoes as part of weekly meal repertories by showcasing the many ways in which you can cook with them. All of the recipes promoted are ready from prep to plate in 30 minutes or less, which also helps to dispel the myth that potatoes take too long to cook for mid-week meal consumption. For further information on this campaign or for more recipe ideas see: www.manyfacesofpotatoes.co.uk"

If you'd like to sign up please add your details here

We'll be in touch with those selected by email.
Thanks, MNHQ

I think I've done it - but my Internet went a bit funny at the end, so please could someone double check? Many thanks!

Also, I'm a regular namechanger and I've only very recently changed to this name. I put my current name rather than my most recent one that has a lot more posts associated with it. Does that matter?

LTLTLT · 19/09/2011 18:41

Have just entered, would really love to do this.

inmysparetime · 19/09/2011 18:42

Done - need some new ideas!

zipzap · 19/09/2011 23:48

AnnMumsnet - it's a very nice made up word!

However I would have thought that it would have been either potato-y or potato-ey given the word potato's usual lack of an e on the end. but whether it should be a -y or an -ey on the end I don't know!

Maybe you should throw it over to the inhabitants of MN Pedants' Corner - they will probably be able to let you know Grin

Tortoise · 20/09/2011 06:15

Done.
Really need new ideas to get DD2 liking potatoes more. (and the money will come in handy! Grin)
