Video webchat with Will Young - Would you like to interview him on Mumsnet's behalf?

So there's been a bit of discussion about the limitations of our current webchat format and seeing as we've got some video capability now we thought we'd give a video variation a try to see how that works.

We're looking for a couple of mumsnetters to come along to a venue in West London and represent MN by putting forwards Mumsnetters' questions in a video chat with Will Young next Monday (26th October) between 12.30 and 1pm.

We'll be going along with a camera crew who will film the interview which will then be aired on the site at a later date (as an edited clip with a link to a full version).

As a special reward the interviewers will then be invited to attend Will's exclusive live album promotion show and after-show party the following evening (Tuesday). If you're interested let us know here and we'll put your name in the hat.

(ps we're hoping to persuade him to sing too.)

Yes very important Marslady - just what are you wearing? I have no idea!

I was about to start a thread asking the pair of you what you are wearing!

My current plan is skinny jeans, black boots over the top and some kind of knitted top (for the interview).

Tuesday sounds like some kind of industry launch party so might need to dress up for that!

I'm guessing nekkid is not the way to go?

I will probably decide, undecide, redecide and then decide again before falling into a heap and changing my mind again. And as to Tuesday..... I have some gorgeous hot pink heels that need an outfit!

You guys remind me of a friend who had to interview Will for the magazine she works for.

He was very amused when she admitted she'd had her hair cut , applied her lippy and dressed extra carefully....it was a PHONE interview!!

Not even slightly glamorous here - I can confirm that MarsLady will look very foxy though if she turns up in the frock she work to the Xmas party last year!

Well Dh has told me to go out and get an outfit but what to get? Are you both up for a spot of lunch afterwards or do you need to dash? Have you had a call yet?

Yes we had quite a long chat, she was really nice, very easy to chat with. Can't wait til tomorrow, just checking train times!

I love this man! He is the nicest nicest man. Could've talked for hours. As it was his management had to drag him away. Norky was able to explain a few of the finer points of MN to him though... weren't you Norky?

Have met Norky before but not McDreamy. Love McDreamy. Can't wait to party with them tomorrow.
