We’re interviewing Alexander Armstrong - what should we ask him?

Hi all,

We’re sitting down with Alexander Armstrong next week, and we’d love your questions.

Actor, presenter and author, Alexander has been part of some of the UK’s most-loved programmes – from Armstrong and Miller and Have I Got News for You to Pointless, Hey Duggee, Horrible Histories, Doctor Who and Danger Mouse.

Growing up in the North East and now a father of four boys, Alexander is also a passionate storyteller. His debut children’s novel, Evenfall: The Golden Linnet, is inspired by his childhood and the mystical history of the ancient North.

Do you have a question you’ve always wanted to ask him? Post it below and we’ll put it to him on Wednesday 4 February.

Does he really think he's poor?

Does he get excited when he gets a pointless answer

Has he been asked to go on celebrity traitors? If not is he annoyed about that?

Did he enjoy being a cathedral chorister? And does he find pointless really boring?

Would he consider reprising his sketch with Ben Miller about the WWII pilots. It has me in stitches even now!
Also would he do task master?

Does he ever get fed up of repeating the same script time after time on Pointless, and is he ever going to move on from it?

What's his favourite episode of Hey Duggee, and why?

Yes, this! I liked him till I saw his jaw droppingly out of touch whinge. Does he regret it or does he still feel that way?

Did you consider state school for your children now you are nearer the breadline due to VAT on school fees?

Does he support fox hunting!

Where would he choose to travel next for one of his travel shows?

Who actually sings the songs he mimes to?

Same. Why doesn't he change up his lines, even a little? It's always the same, even down to the 'thank you very much', after every question! Does he not have any creative control?

Do you feel small next to Richard Osman?

Why are the end questions on pointless so boring? When the fins contestants have to chose between question 1 shit sandwich or question 2 windy pie. All that build up in the episode for that.

Just seen this thread . Absolutely love Alexander. A genuinely good guy. He is intelligent,talented and comes across as a genuine person.

Tell him he is good singer and what is his favourite song from the great American Song Book?
