Hello all,
Piers Morgan, former Editor of the Daily Mirror and News of the World, and now Executive Editor of First News, a weekly newspaper aimed at 9-12 year olds, is coming to Mumsnet for an online chat on Tuesday 10th October at 12.30pm. So make sure you make a note in your diary to log on and post a question. If you can't make the actual event do post your question in advance here. Whilst he can't promise to answer every one he'll do what he can (and we reckon he should be able to type quite fast being a journo and all that).
Best,
MNHQ

Im trying NOT to be rude but please can you answer my question, will you do aricles on special needs to help educate children who dont dont understand it, as this will help children to stop staring at our children as if they are some kind of alien just because they look or act DIFFERENT, i think it would be bloody fantastic if you did this as some parents dont explain these things to their children. And it would take a bit of pressure of us parents with SN children

JessaJackOLantern · 10/10/2006 13:47

donnie - I think you may have onluy read the first few posts. There are lots of very pertinenta nd important, topical questions in amongst the "ooooh I would" comments!

Piers, when you were at home, did you follow "FlyLady" ?

Your welcome to join our FLYers thread

Kelsbells · 10/10/2006 13:47

Give him a break girls, the fact that he's launched a newspaper for children is surely an indication that he cares they are learning about the world around them. No one else has bothered (Murdoch or someone could have... but hasn't).

Someone wanted the link to know what First News looks like - www.firstnews.co.uk

MellowMonsta · 10/10/2006 13:47

Methinks - Piers probably hasnt had as much fun for weeks.

Gosh you ladies are full of it. I love mumsnet

piers

do you think that this yob culture is because of lack of discipline
or has it always been here to this extreme

CreepyJess · 10/10/2006 13:48

And while you're at it, can you make our local authority rehouse us as my house into something my 6 year old son with CP can use his walker in?? (please)

[only joking.. even God Almightly Himself in all his glory can't seem to help with that one..!)

TutterIckOrTreat · 10/10/2006 13:48

Well I asked a serious question and he fobbed it off (twice) with a non-answer, complete with vile insinuations. He deserves everything he gets IMHO

QueenEvil · 10/10/2006 13:48

Piers,

Why would I leave him? Ok he's useless at sport but he's a damn good fuck.

ledodgywizardrobespierre · 10/10/2006 13:48

Kelsbells..or he could have just seen a gap in the market.....

Dear JustineMumsnet,

Re your famous parenting guru throwing her toys out of the pram - I think free speech is everything. Keep taking her to task.
