Paul McKenna is joining us for a live webchat on Wednesday evening between 7 and 8pm. Paul will be chatting about his latest book, I Can Make you Happy which claims it can make you feel happier than you had ever imagined.

Paul will also be happy to answer questions on his 'I can Make you Thin' programme which he says has helped 71% of people who have tried it successfully lose weight and keep it off. He will be taking over the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday 19th February to host his first Live Weight Loss Seminar.

Paul is Britain's best selling non-fiction author and is published in 30 languages as well as hosting television shows and seminars in hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and motivation.

Join us on Wednesday evening to chat to Paul, or send in your questions in advance to this thread and he'll attempt to answer as many questions as possible over the hour.

How about a hairband on the wrist of anyone who is one of us so we can recognise each other (red perhaps)?

AmpleBosom · 14/01/2011 21:33

I was thinking pink carnation Grin

solo · 14/01/2011 21:59

Lol, you lot are mad!!! Grin a copy of the Daily Mail is the thing surely?! Wink

solo · 14/01/2011 22:00

Code word has to be either nice ham or Pombear anyone or Boden ...

AmpleBosom · 14/01/2011 22:10

Loving the pombear idea, we could all walk in stuffing our faces with them. Paul might have to hypnotise the pombear addiction out of us Bear Grin

I think i'd struggle to get "Pombear anyone?" out without laughing!

whomovedmychocolate · 14/01/2011 22:13

There is no fucking way I am carrying a copy of the daily mail. I'd rather wear a badge saying 'I like bumsex on a Friday after a Greggs and a fruit shoot' frankly Grin

whomovedmychocolate · 14/01/2011 22:14

I can't stand Pom Bear crisps - they taste like packing foam with added salt.

AmpleBosom · 14/01/2011 22:18

Grin I'll just bring my very large chest and you'll know it's me Blush

whomovedmychocolate · 14/01/2011 22:36

I'm planning to wear kick arse shoes if it helps. Grin

whysolate · 14/01/2011 23:12

Not stalking you WMMC!

You will all have a great time. I went in 2004 and loved it. He's quite funny and very charasmatic.....oh and it worked for me!

fizzybellasmum · 14/01/2011 23:43

I lost 1 1/2 stone before I got pregnant the first time but now with 2 kids I find it really hard to be mindful about eating and got into a bad habit of trying to shovel my dinner in before my daughter woke up and screamed, when she was small. Now I find I have my spoon/fork in one hand and my son's in the other trying to feed him. I am mostly eating lunch while I drive as it the only way I can eat between work and picking the kids up from nursery. Is there a way to regain control?

bloomingnora · 15/01/2011 09:12

ktwiltshire I have sent you a long and rambling message Grin

Deafworm · 15/01/2011 09:23

amplebosom me too, i have 6stone to lose so youre not alone, however :o bouncing a little today, i restarted the plan on new years day and today was my first weigh in, i have lost 8lb despite pizza, curry, toad in the hole, chips, hotdogs, cake etc etc and having spent the last 3 days sat on my bum, literally after falling downstairs on wednesday.

solo · 15/01/2011 12:04

Oooh! I'm all excited!

Maybe we should have a red scrunchie on our wrist then.

Whysolate, it sounds like he has many success stories :) well done you!
Deafworm, that's fab! 8lbs in 2 weeks woo hoo!!

My 12lbs has come off slowly, the slowest I've ever lost weight tbh, but I'm happy with that, though I do love the thrill of it falling off fast.

Really looking forward to meeting you all Grin

nevergoogledragonbutter · 15/01/2011 13:10

I'll be wearing a boden dress I think.

I'm 13stone and 5'3"
I want to be 10stone (and 5'6") Grin

Carbs of any sort are my downfall.
I cycled 3 times a week last summer and while i found 50 miles easy, I lost no weight whatsoever. So yes, this year I need to get control of my eating, but have the energy to cycle.

blinder · 15/01/2011 19:03

My name's blinder and I'm a comfort eater

blinder · 15/01/2011 19:05

I could lose three stone
I should lose two.

But I'll be happy with 1 stone and be able to keep chocolate in my life.

I'm currently busting out of my 'comfy' trousers Shock!

AmpleBosom · 15/01/2011 22:48

Does anybody know what time it starts? Can anybody recommend a hotel within walking distance of the apollo?

solo · 15/01/2011 23:11

Blinder, until three months ago, I was still wearing maternity trousers and the only reason I stopped was because they fell apart! Dd was 4 last month!!! Blush

Ample, the doors seem to open at 8:30am, but the seminar doesn't start until 10. I'm aiming for 8:30 because I don't want to miss anything! Grin

nevergoogledragonbutter · 15/01/2011 23:29

Flights booked!

solo · 15/01/2011 23:38

Flights?!! where are you coming from? I'm guessing Scotland Hmm

nevergoogledragonbutter · 15/01/2011 23:42

yep.

solo · 16/01/2011 00:14

Excellent! Grin

therapysage · 16/01/2011 08:39

Hypnotherapy really helps lots of people but you may need face to face contact and an individual programme designed for you rather than books or CDs. You can find local hypnotherapists in diredtories such as yell.com.

bloomingnora · 16/01/2011 09:36

And this works and is significantly cheaper, therapysage Grin
