Paul McKenna is joining us for a live webchat on Wednesday evening between 7 and 8pm. Paul will be chatting about his latest book, I Can Make you Happy which claims it can make you feel happier than you had ever imagined.

Paul will also be happy to answer questions on his 'I can Make you Thin' programme which he says has helped 71% of people who have tried it successfully lose weight and keep it off. He will be taking over the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday 19th February to host his first Live Weight Loss Seminar.

Paul is Britain's best selling non-fiction author and is published in 30 languages as well as hosting television shows and seminars in hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and motivation.

Join us on Wednesday evening to chat to Paul, or send in your questions in advance to this thread and he'll attempt to answer as many questions as possible over the hour.

Wow! Truly excited here! Thank you MNHQ Grin

solo · 13/01/2011 13:43

Have you all got people to bring with you? I was going to ask one or other of my friends, but they don't know I MN, so I'm a bit Hmm about letting them in on it...

AlwaysbeOpralFruitstome · 13/01/2011 13:45

I haven't had chance to ask anyone yet but if I have no takers then I will defo offer it up on here.

solo · 13/01/2011 13:45

Blimey! that sounds quite selfish doesn't it? and I'm not :( just like to keep my social life separate from my rl Grin which sounds even more weird!

solo · 13/01/2011 13:46

Yes, that's what I was thinking Always.

Smileypeeple · 13/01/2011 13:51

It docent sound selfish Solo, it would be really kind to offer it on here.

I immediately phoned my friend who is constantly trying to loose weight and I think she is more excited than me!!

She asked where I won the tickets so I told her vaguely about this 'MN thing' luckily she seemed to have never heard of it and disinterested.

Soupspoon · 13/01/2011 14:03

anyone know if it's one of those things that you can dip into, or whether you have to stay for the full day?

Can anyone see what time it finishes?

blinder · 13/01/2011 14:47

Sorry I missed the 10am bit Blush. Tiny webpage on iPhone.

solo · 13/01/2011 15:00

I just don't want my rl friends looking me up on MN.

It doesn't say what time it finishes, but I'd bet on it finishing at lunchtime, otherwise they'd need to provide food or somewhere for us to purchase it.

Riven, it's apparently the only one he's doing (sure I read that) and it was a question that was asked IIRC. Please try to come :)

Also, can't imagine that it's a thing that you could dip in ands out of with any success...

fatpantsandgladrags · 13/01/2011 15:03

I've done a bit of googling re finishing times and apparently his previous ICMYT seminars have gone on all day until 5 or 6pm!

I'm sooo excited to have got tickets. Just need to work out whether I can actually go now!!

solo · 13/01/2011 15:05

All day?! wow!!! not that I mind at all having a childfree day having a day out! Grin

Deafworm · 13/01/2011 15:11

im sure i read somewhere it was 10-6 but cant for the life of me find it now

ktwiltshire · 13/01/2011 15:11

I have got a spare ticket (unless my dear mother suddenly sparks an interest in it, as all other friends are skinny...), I am coming from Dorset. Is there anyone on the way from dorset to London that wants to share driving/lives near a train station or similar?
have also put out this on the support thread

solo · 13/01/2011 15:23

I'd love to bring my Mum, but if I do, I wont have anyone to have the Dc's...and selfishly, I haven't told her I have a spare ticket...mind you, when I asked her to babysit, I didn't actually know about the second ticket...

ktwiltshire · 13/01/2011 15:36

DH will be looking after kids, hes cleared his diary, but my mum isnt really a fan, also cant do long journeys.

ive put up a FB asking for anyone living in/near london to help in exchange for a ticket as i used to live 1hr train away, first come first serve. really hope i can hope i can help someone out and make the day easier all at the same time.

I think def we need a meet up, theres got to be breaks in the seminar, maybe we should all wear something so we know each other lol

whomovedmychocolate · 13/01/2011 17:27

8:30 Shock

Blinking flip.

Okay well that's doable for me. Will work well for me actually I think better in the mornings. May I suggest anyone who is coming and who wants to meet up with me PM me and I'll give you the number of the mobile I will be on that day (not mine so not my normal number) and I'll come say hello because I'll be standing on the doorstep at 8:25 saying: 'make me thin damnit!' Grin

blinder · 13/01/2011 17:33

Sorry wmmc that's my fault. Doors open at 8.30 but it actually starts at 10!

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 13/01/2011 17:34

Thank you Riven.

GentleOtter · 13/01/2011 18:03

I hope you all have a brilliant time and thank you WMMC. (Keep an eye on Paul McKenna and WMMC. He has a shine on her) Wink

Please let us know how it went and any other bits of news. I feel really excited for y'all.
