Paul McKenna is joining us for a live webchat on Wednesday evening between 7 and 8pm. Paul will be chatting about his latest book, I Can Make you Happy which claims it can make you feel happier than you had ever imagined.

Paul will also be happy to answer questions on his 'I can Make you Thin' programme which he says has helped 71% of people who have tried it successfully lose weight and keep it off. He will be taking over the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday 19th February to host his first Live Weight Loss Seminar.

Paul is Britain's best selling non-fiction author and is published in 30 languages as well as hosting television shows and seminars in hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and motivation.

Join us on Wednesday evening to chat to Paul, or send in your questions in advance to this thread and he'll attempt to answer as many questions as possible over the hour.

AnyFuleKno · 13/01/2011 22:06

This is my course!

whomovedmychocolate · 13/01/2011 22:17

Can you swap it for the next time BIWI? Seriously I think they do those on a regular basis.

whomovedmychocolate · 13/01/2011 22:19

July's course specifically BIWI?

BecauseImWorthIt · 13/01/2011 22:51

Trouble is, this was a gift for me on my 50th, which was in 2009! It's already a bit embarrassing that I've left it this long to book, so I don't think I really can shift it. Sad

whomovedmychocolate · 13/01/2011 23:04

Why not. You will be thin and enjoying pastries as a connoisseur rather than a scoffer if you do? :)

missmakesstuff · 13/01/2011 23:12

well, I am going to give it a couple of days of FB, and see if anyone is interested, then offer it on here if not, do my own prize draw.
Oh, and I offer my services as an art teacher and jeweller making pombear badges at an very reasonable price....

missmakesstuff · 13/01/2011 23:16

DH has just said if no-one wants my ticket he will come along and bring a packed lunch and scoff the whole hing noisily in the corner, letting out loud well timed belches. He is 5'11'' and weighs about 10 stone sopping wet. I told him he would get beaten to death.

I have to find someone who wants the ticket.

nikki1978 · 13/01/2011 23:29

Oh my god just looked online for tickets and they are blinking expensive. Can't afford that sadly :-( Hope you ladies who are going have fun!

AnyFuleKno · 13/01/2011 23:31

* I still have a spare if anyone wants it. PM me *

ktwiltshire · 13/01/2011 23:53

waiting on a reply from someone who lives in hammersmith...hoping i can find somewhere to park thats not an NCP...i could drive it in time, early start, but lets face it we're all used to them

solo · 14/01/2011 10:22

I think Nicknametaken is after coming along AnyFuleKno, she's on the PM 2011 thread, I'll point her your way.

Smileypeeple · 14/01/2011 11:43

I'd like to meet up with you all but as I'm bringing my RL friend I think it may be awkward.

I have about a stone to loose, I'm not hugely overweight just slightly podgy. BUT I know Ihave a f**ked up relationship with food from years of yoyo dieting, ttyring all the diets and weighing myself obsessively. I try to be healthy but in reality I know I go thourgh bingy stages followed by panicky starve myself phases, and I spend far to much time thinking about what I can/can't eat, depriving myself, binging, guilt, self loathing etc etc etc.

I think Paul McKenna approach to NOT dieting and instead re educating your relationship to food, restabishing your messed up hungry/satisfied messages and conscious eating (I can scoff so much of the kids melas during preparation and leftovers whilst I clear up), is SO positive for woman. It's about regaining control with the lucky side effect of weight loss.

So don't be too hard on any skinnies you see there, so many woman have food issues, even the thin ones.

That's why I think the title I Can Make You Thin is misleading, it should be I Can Make You Gain Control of Your Eating. Bit less snappy I know.

dontdisstheteens · 14/01/2011 13:06

I would love to come if anyone has a spare ticket. After a family death this week I am not online much but if anyone pms me it will come through to my phone.

solo · 14/01/2011 13:20

Smilypeeple, so am I, but blow it! I want to say hello to MNetters!

whomovedmychocolate · 14/01/2011 16:35

Smily/solo - we could have a codeword to drop into conversation and not mention Mumsnet at all. That would work.

I suggest 'the Friday night arsesex society' Grin

AmpleBosom · 14/01/2011 18:08

WMMC can we have another code word please? Grin i think that my SIL guest might vomit if there is any mention of sex!

I'm looking forward to meeting you all but please be aware that i m properly fat and not a "I need to lose a couple of stone" type of person. Probably need to lose about 5 stone!

whomovedmychocolate · 14/01/2011 18:19

How about the 'Vaseline users feedback group' or 'lubes and lunches' Grin

AmpleBosom · 14/01/2011 18:46

Erm getting better but still not there Wink
