It's Platinum Jubilee weekend for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you four days of celebrations in Playmoland. Today is King Athelstan's birthday parade. The route has been lined with bunting.

Trent is setting up his barbecues.

Erdem sets up his kebeb stall.

People are starting to arrive.

Soon the party is in full swing.

Everyone is having a lovely time.

The barbecue is very popular.

Angela tops up Dwynwen's tea.

There is lots of lovely food!

Oh no! Apollo the dog has snaffled some meat from the barbecue!

Elizabeth has made a beautiful cake!

And Elise has made a Platinum pudding!

It's time for the Platinum Pageant. There will be a procession of various people in Ruggington this afternoon. First some representatives from the military. Lemuel and Lennox from the Navy, Sir Staplehurst Lydd and Sir Sittingbourne Lydd from the army, and Jeremy and Catherine from the Air Force.
