DS 4, has a badge he calls “birdie friend.” I may post a photo later! It’s a badge with a bird on.

Birdie Friend seems to have the gift of the “sight!” “Birdie Friend says Bob and Rose are here mummy, they like to have tea with us. Bob and Rose are DH’s grandparents who died many years ago.

“Birdie Friend says the men who lived upstairs looked like you mummy when their faces burned off.” We used to live in a former military hospital and I had a sheet mash on my face! The ward upstairs had indeed been a burns/plastics ward!

“Mummy, Birdie Friend says the end is coming soon.”

I think birdie friend needs to get mysteriously lost ASAP and then set on fire, ashes put into a box full of crosses, and buried far from home

BF is no longer allowed to go to nursery.

Apparently the people who used to live years and years here are called Dot and Bill. They don’t live here now but the little boy is still here. That’s BF’s latest message. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Trying to work out how old this house is. I thought 1970s but my dad thinks 1950s due to the thick walls, picture rails and serving hatch.

Any old folk on your street that have been around a while and can verify a Dot and Bill living there? Or you can check census records online.

And rhe year your house was built will be on the Deeds.

Available census records only go up to 1911 at the moment - 1921 will be released in 2021. Some websites (Ancestry) do have the electoral rolls for more recent times.

There is also the 1939 census.

My grandparents were called Dot and Bill.

Can also check age of house by looking up the ordinance survey maps of the past.

They did them ever 10 years or so so easy to pinpoint what decade it was built as to if your house is drawn on the map or not

It’s military married quarters so no deeds sadly. I’ll look at the ordnance survey maps.

Maybe you could get a medium to help see what’s going on. My mom never believed until her deceased husband starting haunting her after she spilled big secrets to his daughter. A psychic person came and got him into the light and all the hauntings stopped.
