DS 4, has a badge he calls “birdie friend.” I may post a photo later! It’s a badge with a bird on.

Birdie Friend seems to have the gift of the “sight!” “Birdie Friend says Bob and Rose are here mummy, they like to have tea with us. Bob and Rose are DH’s grandparents who died many years ago.

“Birdie Friend says the men who lived upstairs looked like you mummy when their faces burned off.” We used to live in a former military hospital and I had a sheet mash on my face! The ward upstairs had indeed been a burns/plastics ward!

“Mummy, Birdie Friend says the end is coming soon.”

I think Birdie friend had it’s roots in non-fiction... but drifted into fiction at nursery and calling on the chaplain. But, hey, never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

I’ve had an email from my friend this morning
He feels he is looking for his sister who also hasn’t gone to the light
He suggests asking an archangel to find her, then they both should go easily.

I’m not quite sure how to go about that...

I feel like this about Stonehenge. I can't see why people go there partying/for the solstice etc. To me the energy there is DARK.

@MostIneptThatEverStepped I haven't had EHS for a while but it's always when I'm least expecting it. Sometimes it's loud banging on the door, voices I recognise (like the ex or one of my kids) shouting my name really loudly, but the worst are the really loud 'boo!' or whispers right in my ear. Shits me right up.
I hadn't heard of 'the hag' before but that's exactly what I'd describe I've seen. Just the once. She was going mad at me, screeching. I'd never want to see it again.

@IndigoSkye thank you, I think that must be a good tip because I've started sleeping on my side with my head under the cover and make a little breathing hole for myself haha. Seems to be working so far but I did have one episode where I could feel 'someone' crawling up over the bed.

I've just remembered something from when I was very young, maybe about 7/8? I slept on the top of bunk beds and I woke up one night because I felt something sitting on my legs. The whole bed was shaking. There was no mistaking the knowledge that someone/thing was on the bed with me. I was so utterly terrified I just hid under the covers not moving. I guess eventually I fell asleep and in the morning I suppose it didn't seem so real and I forgot about it. That's probably the most scared I've ever been!

Did have a weird/glitch experience on the Kennington Loop once as a teenager, later found out it’s pretty famous for it.

There were quite a few people on The Entity documentary who gave similar accounts so the hag seems to definitely make her rounds. I think in the doc, she is also with a male too. She's hardly going to come back to a thread where so many people have ripped the mickey out of her. I don't know why folk can't just let a story play out - fictional or otherwise, without having this burning desire to leave sardonic put-downs. I was enjoying the thread!
