Mittens.

I think his name is actually Mr Schmoopy but he tells other cats his name is ThugCat.

In same kind of way that the boy you knew in the 90s told everyone his name was Leaf even though it was really Jeremy (and he actually lived at boarding school not on a fucking riverboat as he pretended)

All the other cats know TC is really called Mr Schmoopy but are too terrified polite to mention it.

I think he has a simple name like Fluff or Scruff; I remember that photo of him when he was a teeny tiny innocent kitten sitting in the dog's bowl. But then again, he'd suit a dramatic name like Dragon or Maximilion.

Ok then admit it Webuiltciscity, Supersimkin2, Fluffycloudland77, purrswhileheeats, would any of you dare call TC Fluffy, Mittens, Duchess or Fluff to his face?

I am especially laughing at ‘Mittens’ after the photo Grumpy posted the other day of TC using the Grumpy bench as a scratching post. His claws were the length of the prongs on a garden rake 🙀

I'm betting on either Fluffy, Stripes or 'Tiger'. :)

Mittens TC has been taking advantage of our hospitality and the good weather today.

With those black paws Mittens suits him! He looks so Zen.

He's also been utilising our marine facilities (which is more than we are allowed to at the moment). He was curled up on the boat cover this morning, then became very interested in a coot. This was him finally disembarking earlier.

Basil was less than impressed with him being on the boat. Giving him dirty looks from the garden.

Basil looks very impressive with his ruff.

And that impressive tail!

What is this sacrilege? Fluffy? Mittens? Duchess?? TC, cover your savage, fluffy ears! The Thane looks in fine stripey form and Basil is very dapper....

I bet Basil is hot today with that majestic coat. My very floofy cat is complaining bitterly to me about the unacceptable weather.

Actually he seems to be taking it very well - currently curled up asleep on DW.

TC is the most adorable Ship's Cat. Basil wins the prize for most magnificent and stately sleeper.

All the fluffies have had a great day being outside with us and generally pottering about. (Lockdown is welcomed here by the cats)
Currently Sybil and TC have got about as close to each other as I've ever seen them. Only separated by railings and the back of a chair.

Star-cross'd lovers if ever there were.

Hold on a minute. He's been rubbing his furry body all over my patio, garden seats, table, boat etc. quite apart from contact (usually hostile) with my cats, for years now.

He's not trying to save me - HE'S TRYING TO INFECT ME!!!!!
