Well spotted. Karl and Lenny were indeed named after the Simpsons characters - but they were named by Battersea not us.
Whereas Basil and Sibyl Sybil are, of course, taken from The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Yes they have a corn snake that is now over 6ft long (they are only supposed to get to about 5ft).

It's incredible how many tiny little beige corn snakes, barely the size of a pencil, turn into 20-foot gold pythons.

That happened to my cousin. The man at the Crouch End Pet Shop said it's eating dead mice as does it.
