To have told colleague I'd would do a poo

Most embarrassing day of my life - I have sent an email to a young male Collegue saying these exact words 'OK I will do a POO'

Now what I should have said was 'ok I will raise a PO' (purchase order) but in my rush I typed the above am I'm just mortified- he did place my order so he knew what I really meant and he hasn't said anything about it but I'm so embarrassed Blush

My name often autocorrects to Salty. So I have signed many a work email

Kind Regards,
Salty

🤔😁😂

@SquishyLint
You have me in absolute floods of tears of laughter! I tried to read that to my son and had to get him to read it for himself

Toomuchtrouble4me · 12/12/2019 18:49

It’s funny - share the joy with him!🤣 💩

dottydaily · 12/12/2019 18:53

I cannot stop laughing 😂

BooseysMom · 12/12/2019 19:03

Whilst doing a typing test in the early 90s i once typed Yours Faithfukky in a letter and to my horror i didn't realise until i had handed it in! Shock i'll never forget that!

RedLipstickHighHeels · 12/12/2019 19:11

purplebunny2012 · 12/12/2019 19:18

Devora13 · 12/12/2019 19:23

And this is a serious question???

AutumnRose1 · 12/12/2019 19:26

Fankle?

csigeek · 12/12/2019 19:36

I have, on many occasions, written discocunt instead of discount 😱

lionsandwhales · 12/12/2019 19:49

I emailed my boss to say I had popped over. Except I wrote pooped over.

AutumnRose1 · 12/12/2019 19:51

@csigeek. Discocunt!

OMD imma have to name change to that!

MillicentMartha · 12/12/2019 20:03

I swear I saw the 100 rolls shopping list one years ago!

Happygirl79 · 12/12/2019 20:09

Someone asked me what plans I had for the weekend on Twitter
I had a fashion website
I typed my daughter and I are doing a stock take but autocorrect changed it to my daughter and I are doing a stockbroker
You have to laugh!

AutumnRose1 · 12/12/2019 20:33

@Happygirl79

No wonder you’re happy 😂

CountFosco · 12/12/2019 20:39

First classics worthy thread I've seen in months.

I took have a colleague called Angus who has missed out a crucial letter on a group email.

Similar to the loo/100 rolls my aunt sent my cousin to the shops to buy crackers on Xmas Eve. He came back with Jacob's Cream Crackers.

Jennifer2r · 12/12/2019 21:43

I work in IT and was emailed by a colleague that I was stuck in a stock transaction,

I replied to all 4 male colleagues 'thanks, do you have the authorisation to kick me out'

Except I'd written 'thanks, do you have the authorisation to lick me out'

Which is obscene and I was incredibly embarrassed, but in hindsight is quite funny.

charley50 · 12/12/2019 21:53

@Jennifer2r - 😳😂😂😂😂

7vio · 12/12/2019 22:12

Laughing so hard at all this! ! Ok, I was heavily pregnant and v. tired, I was working in the office, and when talking to my boss on the phone I ended our conversation with “I love you babe”... I kid you not Blush I wanted to die there and then...I only said it automatically, I say it to my OH before put the phone down (at least, I used to say it!) My boss laughted at it, my colleagues found it hilarious too, and I’m still mortified by it!

Pilchardandcrane · 13/12/2019 00:38

Lugging it off FGSake. Recipient will find it funny . I did

Pilchardandcrane · 13/12/2019 00:39

Laugh - should have said

SandwhichGenerationGal · 13/12/2019 07:30

I had a friend who sent a retirement party invite (by email) to loads of people. Said she was looking forward to minging (mingling) 😂
Wouldn’t have been so bad if it were just friends but was to NHS and social services colleagues 😂

chellochello · 13/12/2019 08:04

I did bump into the guy I sent it to in the kitchen yesterday and we had a bit of a giggle about it so no harm done really but it's still embarrassing!

A colleague was submitting a business case for a project we had codenamed Project Mingle.

The document got emailed out to the wider team with the title "PROJECT MINGE" in huge capital letters on the cover page 😂

iklboodolphrednosedreindeer · 13/12/2019 09:18

To very senior lady boss:

'I appreciate that you're really busty'
