Prince Josiah of Playmoland is marrying Miss Serena Sparkle. The wedding will take place at Ruggington Cathedral and the reception will be in the grounds of Roundwood Palace.

The ceremony will be conducted y the Archbishop of Ruggington, the Most Revernd Godfrey Venables, and the address will be given by the Dean of Lowbeach-on-Sea, the Very Reverend Anselm Latimer.

Crowd have gathered along the route of the procession, and ardent royalist Brendan, who has camped out overnight to get a good view is being interviewed by the PBC.

Anuja and Emilia get chatted up by a couple of shady characters

^ My favourite from your collection. And it was all brilliant.

I'll also repeat the preliminary photos I did the night before the Royal Wedding, as they were on a separate thread which is still in Chat and they will otherwise be lost.

Thank you SoMuch I've really enjoyed this thread over the last week. I can't wait for the next extravaganza.

SoMuchToBits · 25/05/2018 22:02

You're very welcome!

I've spent a lot of today tidying up all the Playmo and putting it back in the summer house. And watching the real Royal Wedding on iPlayer (I only saw bits of it when at work last Saturday).

How do you store them, I have visions of a whole Playmo world in your summer house! Looking forward to next time already. Smile

PunxsutawneyHogwash · 26/05/2018 12:18

Wonderful. Thank you for doing such a beautiful thing @SoMuchToBits.

Please can I come and work for you as a Playmo World assistant?

SoMuchToBits · 26/05/2018 15:06

LIZS, the Playmo is all in plastic storage boxes, a box for each theme (or sometimes more than one box for themes where we have a lot of stuff like fire and police). I put all the larger items in the box, then the small accessories and the klickies are in a plastic bag in each box, so they are easily accessible and don't all fall to the bottom of the box.

Punxsutawney, I'd love to have an assistant - especially now ds is older and doesn't help much any more. Grin

And I'm afraid the wedding/royalty sets, which used to occupy 1 box, now occupy 4! Thanks largely to Roundwood Palace .

Grin dedication to the cause. We definitely need to up our game and I'm inspired to get a proper organisation system going for our sadly neglected figures and give them all a good dust when ds comes back from uni.

SoMuchToBits · 27/05/2018 22:29

Don't tell anyone, but I've just ordered another Playmo set on eBay tonight ready for the next event... Wink

SoMuch you are completely and delightfully bonkers and very artistic.

WinnersClub · 27/05/2018 22:38

OP this has been wonderful. The attention to detail is just incredible. I didn’t get to see Harry’s reception but it doesn’t matter now because we have this. Only one question, How did you do it all?

SoMuchToBits · 27/05/2018 22:49

elephant, I know I'm bonkers! not sure about artistic

Winners - how did I do it all? Planning. Lots of planning. And patience. And used past experience for some things, but improving on what we did in 2011 for example.

Just caught up. Thank you so much, SoMuch! Absolutely fantastic!

Do you keep lists of who everyone is, their names, family relationships etc, or aren't you bothered?

SoMuchToBits · 28/05/2018 19:23

Thank you!

I have lists of the names of all our Playmo people, but not all of them are in families. For example, Norman just has his mates (Ken, Len, Brian etc). But I have a little family tree for the Royal family, and for the Sparkles and the Widdletons. And some other people come in small "families", e.g. Jeff and Jackie Marlin (from the Family Yacht set) have two children called Jordan and Jessica (but the children weren't at the wedding, they went to the street party instead.
