It's Royal Wedding day for the Playmobil people in our house...

Prince Josiah of Playmoland is marrying Miss Serena Sparkle. The wedding will take place at Ruggington Cathedral and the reception will be in the grounds of Roundwood Palace.

The ceremony will be conducted y the Archbishop of Ruggington, the Most Revernd Godfrey Venables, and the address will be given by the Dean of Lowbeach-on-Sea, the Very Reverend Anselm Latimer.

Crowd have gathered along the route of the procession, and ardent royalist Brendan, who has camped out overnight to get a good view is being interviewed by the PBC.

This came about when ds was about 10 and we went to stay in Kent with my dsis and dBIL. We had been shopping in Canterbury and ds had bought the set containing Sir Ospringe. We were having a conversation about interesting Kent village names, including Ospringe and Bapchild, and at that moment Sir Ospringe was named! And so was his horse, Canterbury....

I will try to post some more photos tonight, but probably won't be until about 10 pm after I get back from my band rehearsal.

Even 20 yo former Playmobil-collecting ds has enjoyed looking through this. He is in awe of your collection, ours may come out of retirement in the attic for a wash and brush up in honour.

That's nice to hear, LIZS - I've enjoyed seeing a few Playmo people who have been in boxes in the summer house for a while. Maybe I should think about making some more dioramas on other themes, as we have so much Playmobil!

I'm not sure I can join Instagram - I don't have a smartphone. I do everything on the laptop, and I don't think Instagram works on a laptop. I'm not really a fan of Apps or touchscreens really. If you could do Instagram from the laptop I'd consider it.

It is possible to Instagram from a laptop, but it’s quite complicated, involving a 3rd party application as well as the web version of Instagram

That sounds quite complicated Rusty, for a technophobe like me! I have trouble just using my small tablet (which I only ever use when away from home and don't want to cart the laptop with me).
