My Neighbour is mowing their grass. They have been at it since 8am.
I don't think this is outrageous. It's a good idea to do it before it gets hot.

The cashier talked to me this morning when she scanned my shopping. It was nice to have a chat.

STBXH and I are doing our best to be ultra fair and considerate with our divorce terms even though it's a very sad process.

My son came home from his after school sports session today with mild sunburn on his face. The coaches had forgotten to remind them to wear their hats. I rang the boss to tell him about it, so that they remember about hats next time. He apologised a lot, and thanked me for letting him know without shouting at him. I accepted his apology and we said a cordial goodbye. I will probably book DS onto the same club next year. He likes it.

My DP is currently sat playing on his Xbox and has been for the past hour, I am MNing in peace, I could not give two shits if this means he is a 'man child'.

My husband never does the ironing. But then I never do any DIY. This arrangement makes neither of us resentful or unhappy.

My neighbours use the shared driveway as their own parking space. I am ok with this as I actually do have my own parking space in front of my house.

I do the bulk of childcare and housework. DH doesn't and I am not going to LTB because he works very hard, often long hours, cares about me, adores DD and I quite enjoy his company. i also quite like looking after my child and my house

When dc 1 & 2 both my parents and my i laws visited the first day in hospital and then popped round after we were home and helpfully cooked meals, picked up things from the shop and cuddled the babies
They were excited and I was pleased as we are family.
I expect the same will happen with ds3 and I won't keep them away for the first 3 years of his life

I won a top on ebay with a bid of £4.67 and paid £2.99 for p&p. Now it's arrived, it doesn't quite fit and I can see the seller actually paid £1.54 postage.
I'll probably drop it off at a charity shop at some point.

People in next stair were sitting g on wall under our window smoking and their toddler was bellowing and keeping DD awake . It was annoying but I didn't say anything as I realised they were just sitting in the garden on a nice night and it was my problem.

I went to the post office and as I walked from the car park saw the postmaster having his coffee break out the back. He waved and said, I'll be in in 5, I agreed, said no rush and had a nice chat in the shop waiting for him to finish. Was nicer as the shop has a/c and I was melting!

I had a loooong wait in a&e because they had a few emergencies, i was glad it wasn't me or a friend/family member and just hoped that whoever it was is OK now

There are kids with SN and challenging behaviour in DD'S class. She is happy at school, so it's fine.

I have piles and thrush and haven't had a shag in 4 months. All part of being pregnant (for me anyway). I'll have a lovely baby soon and it will all be worth it. I'm very happy.

A colleague asked me today if I was planning on having children. I told him that I hope so, and that I'm hopeful that we'll have some in the near future. He wished me luck, and we carried on about our day.

I put Windows 10 on my laptop. It seems OK.

I saw a gang of grown men (in suits!) playing Pokemon Go earlier.

I did not post a rant on FB or Twitter about it.

I went to a baby shower. We had afternoon tea at a posh hotel and I got to see lots of female family members and friends that I hadn't seen for ages. It really was lovely.

DTDs have had a lovely year at school and have declared their teacher the best ever. I have bought him a present. It is a Star Wars mug. He can keep pens in it, or drink coffee from it, or put it in a cupboard. But he likes Star Wars and I want him to know he's made a difference to my children.

I'm 53. I think I can decide for myself whether I have an appropriate haircut.

The soap opera I follow has got a bit rubbish. So I stopped following it.

I do my husbands ironing along with own. I do this because he's, y'know, my husband and I love him.

My step daughter accidentally kicked me in the boob and it still hurts
She also asked if she could sleep in our bed, she was told no (she is 7 and shares a room with her sisters) but then knocked on our door at 3am asking again. I didn't sleep again after that and I am still tired now.

Do acti fry chips taste funny or is it just me?

I used a toilet brush today. I'm still alive.

My 17 year old son eats grapes.

There was a young couple on the train with a baby. An older woman stopped to coo and kissed the baby's hand as she left. The parents didn't mind at all.

A woman taking pictures at an attraction asked if I was OK that DS featured in one. I said it was no problem.
